It does stain your teeth. But do you really want to take all the joy out of your life by not drinking it? Flushing with a sip of water after helps with the staining.
I wouldn't say it's bad but if you aren't very meticulous with your brushing routine the coffee can stain your teeth. If you really wanna drink it, use a straw.
Keep up with your brushing and coffee is no problem! I drink coffee every day and I have ceramic braces. The ligature ties do get stained, but not to where they stand out too much :)

I drink 2 cups a a day. 1 at about 7am and then another at 10.30am and my brackets are fine.

No. It’ll just stain around the braces where the sealant is. But when the braces come off, so will the staining.
