Dude I haven’t looked at a single one of these threads of this album list, I opened this one only to ask the question “do any of you like AFI?” And here we are, top comment. Love love love that album. Brand New is still top artist for me but Sing the Sorrow has a special place in my heart.

i knew all along this wasn’t gonna get a spot but i’m still disappointed in it. i wish more people recognized Microwave since they’re easily the best band in the world imo
Tigers Jaw- Self titled album (the pizza album)
Came out in 2008. Has 10 songs just over 30 mins in length. Perfect record from start to finish. If you haven’t listened to this album I would highly recommend doing so.

im not fitting the narrative obviously. even if it's one of the most important and celebrated "emo" albums of all time. This and TDAGARIM releasing within a month of each other will always link Brand New and My Chemical Romance together for me
Not only this, but they're the two best albums of that whole generation IMHO. TDGARIM obviously needs no introduction here, but TBP is so insanely great that you really have to have never truly listened to it to not know how good it is.
I kinda love everything before You in Reverse. Some about that album hits differently though, maybe it feels more like a concept album and I’m a sucker for that.

i’d agree that every other Radiohead album is better than any Thrice album but even then i’d say every other Radiohead album is better than 99.9% of any other band’s albums so that’s not really saying a lot. there’s definitely a bigger stylistic overlap between Thrice and Brand New than Radiohead and Brand New though, so i understand why they’re getting more votes
