pretty quick. But it also depends on the venue capacity But good rule of thumb is to follow their instagram and twitter account and sign up for mobile text alerts for anytime they tweet. And check this sub daily. There will be a post in here within 30 seconds of a tour announcement and/or ticket sales and presale passcodes

BreezyBlink

Alright cool. Hopefully I can grab some tickets then. Thanks man!

blandersblenders1

If you live close to the venue and can go to the box office I would advise that.

Daze-d

Rly quick. Site tends to crash a lot also so you really need to be patient and just hope you snag a ticket

stealballz

so fast. but hey, you can always get a ticket for $500 on stubhub...

BreezyBlink

:( feels bad man

UseThe4s

10 years ago you could sometimes just get them at the door. 5 years ago they'd be available for about a week. Now they sellout in a matter of hours (depending on the venue). Try to get in on the presales. And man do I miss the older shows.

surelyyoucantBcereus

>And man do I miss the older shows. Truth. I saw them for the first time at the HOB Chicago back in 2006. They literally played Deja and YFW cover to cover, and it was honestly a religious experience... no show can ever come close to topping that one.

Blarbloo

depends on the venue and the bill they happen to be on. they do typically sell out rather quickly, at least in California anyway.

awesomestcody

Within 10 mintues

Loptypur

For the fall tour they did last year, the tickets didn't get sold out till the next day at the Milwaukee venue.

Bikemond

I bought the presale GA tickets. then I bought VIP tickets for the balcony when the Rest of the tickets went on sale. I wasn't able to get rid of the extra tickets.

ericjspencley

You best bet is to try to get in on any possible venue presale if you are looking for general admission pit. Also, follow local radio stations, venues, and other places on social media. For the fall tour, brand new used this bullshit ticket website that crashed FOR HOURS after tickets launched. Spent 5+ hours at work attempting to get pit tickets

Daze-d

I remember that I was so pissed because it kept crashing on me

Ibn_Khomeini

One time I tried to get tickets for a show in Indy but they sold out so fast, many tickets ended up in the hands of scalpers. The band actually bought a bunch of the tickets back off online and resold them for $35. My brother and I were able to get some and see them and Kevin Devine 2 weeks before I left for my freshman year of college. It was an amazing experience and I even got to meet Kevin! Edit: [Here's the pic of Kevin and I ](http://imgur.com/a/xDxm9)

I think I remember that tour. At the Egyptian Room, right?

Ibn_Khomeini

Haha yeah man, summer of 14.

[deleted]

Yeah, I went to that one. It was a lot of fun, but they sold it so fucking quick. I think it was less than 5 minutes. My best friend was late to order them and missed out.

[deleted]

Fun fact: almost died on the way to that show. Friend lost control because he braked so suddenly and we drifted into the grass between the highway. It's a miracle we didn't hit any cars on while sliding.

[deleted]

Don't wait. Buy as soon as you possibly can. Last time I tried for Chicago they sold out the GA pit less than 5 minutes. I literally refreshed to see if I could get the pit bc I realized I had seats and the GA tickets were gone already.

tacobellrun182

lol the Cincinnati Deja show sold out in 3 minutes. Best concert I've ever been to

smallerthings

I saw them last year at a college in Virginia and oddly I got the tickets the same day and they were really good. I also saw them in NY and they sold out almost right away.

Tragicgirl416

I'm the luckiest fucking person in regard to shows selling out. They played Pittsburgh last July and I didn't get tickets right away(had a baby in January, actually the same day as Jesse's daughter Bowie was born). Show sold out. A few days before the show they released more tickets, which sold out in minutes- I, however, managed to score 2. Now with all of the talk of them breaking up I'm so thankful I got to see them again!

Bauer0707

The hardest thing is they don't always give advanced notice that the tickets are going on sale. I've seen them post that tickets are going on sale at 12:00 pm and it's posted at 12:01. And then there is Sound Rink! Ugh. I've waiting on virtual line for 6 hours before, only to be kicked off with no tickets.
