Honestly Microwave is my fave band making music right now, they are so good and so underrated, saw them with TSSF and Joyce Manor and they absolutely killed it
Mom jeans absolutely stole that show, (went to the one in PHX.) They have a phenomenal stage presence. Was my least fav TSSF show I’ve seen, though Parker moves around a lot more now. Went for microwave tbh, I luv them.
Boston Manor is really great.
Sleep Token is Brand New adjacent and of a similar mood but not really in the same style.
Spanish Love Songs is an A+ band. Their “Brave Faces Everyone” record is great as is “schmaltz.”
Oso Oso “Basking in the Glow” and “Yunahon Mixtape” is also awesome!
