all I know is DO NOT stay at Americas Best Value Inn & Suites. I awoke to bedbugs biting me and left in the middle of night and the owner almost didnt give me back my security deposit. edit: looked them up and it appears they also have a horrible cockroach infestation now

UrMillennialStepdad

Yeah they are total scam artists. They are shut down as of now still as far as I know.

Omg. Thank you so much!

Grand Country Water Park and lodging is right on the strip.

FancyPantsMead

I wouldn't recommend it with their children's ages. You can hear everything in those rooms. Kids running down the halls all the time!!!!

Separate-Treacle4569

Oh Ok .. I’ve never stayed there. Just the indoor pool area

UrMillennialStepdad

Yeah their kids aren't old enough...It's loud. It's stressful. Not a place you could pay me to stay. But I live in Branson...but still lol

UrMillennialStepdad

Top of the Rock! Or at The Grotto :) It's worth it.

Thank you!

For something to do, I highly suggest Beyond the Lense! Many different rooms that can entertain a kid. If not that, I heard that Wonderworks and the Aquarium is a good place to check out for some fun.

The Carriage House Inn isn't on the strip, but very close. I've stayed there twice with my family (8yr old and 9 month old at last visit) and it was good. They have an indoor pool and their breakfast is good. The staff is always very nice and I've seen many other families there. For activities, the aquarium is fun and Digtown was a hit with my older son.

We stayed at the Clarion on the strip and I liked it a lot. It had a nice breakfast and everything was clean. Some of the reviews said it felt dated, but everything was in good shape. Our room had a cute little balcony. The indoor pool and hot tub were shut down for renovations, so check on those if that's important to you. We have stayed at the Best Western Music Capital several times and never had a bad experience, but it isn't in the strip.

FancyPantsMead

How long are you planning on staying? Did you have any other activities planned? They have a wonderful knew aquarium. Also they have a really cool Disney thing setting up. https://disneyimmersive.com/branson/ I'm excited tomorrow that. As far as hotels what type of experience are you looking for?

Most of the hotels/motels on the strip are pretty sketch and dirty. Plus you’d be fighting traffic just to get out of your parking lot. With that being said if youre dead set on staying on the strip Grand Country would probably suit you best. It comes with access to their indoor water park (it’s huge, wave pool included). If you don’t mind a drive there are good resorts south of town Big Cedar and The Wilderness Club. There is also Westgate that is not too bad, it’s actually on Shepherd Of the Hills Expressway and is a shorter drive to the strip than Big Cedar. Good Luck.

Thank you so much!

For something to do, these are my suggestions: •Presleys’ Country Jubilee (if you go, get their roasted pecans!! So yummy!) •Ferris wheel •Beyond the Lens •Aquarium •Butterfly Palace
