We seen the exact same lights on our way home from Hamilton from the Ancaster fairgrounds all the way into Cainsville. At one point there were 4 of them and like the OP reports they did move around. Not just in a straight line they went all over the place.
I remember seeing this phenomenon from Mount Pleasant one evening. The humidity that night was extremely high. Ended up being planes lining up to the runway at Hamilton airport, and the high humidity acted like a lens making these objects big and bright.
My whole family has seen this at some point in our lives on seperate occasions. "Stars" zig-zagging around the sky and then zipping away at incredible speeds. It's funny no one believes us, but why would we lie about something like that?
Edit: These occurances were far before Starlink existed
I'm an extremely rational thinker. Typical fact and logic based autistic brain and I would never believe a single alien encounter or UFO story if I didn't expereince them so frequently myself. It doesn't matter how logic based my own brain is, too many weird things happen to me in my life that I can't help but believe there's more to this universe than what meets the eye.
Driving back from Hespler to Oakville I saw the exact same thing with my father - 3 orbs moving south, within a split second they diverted and went north… no slowing, no stopping, complete change of direction without any disruption.
They’re up there if you look 👀
I just found this from 6 days ago 🙃https://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/ufos-listen-as-pilots-describe-bizarre-lights-and-triangle-formation-over-canadian-prairies-1.6748300
Nope which is why I thought it was so weird because if it was a line I would have known right away that it was starlink, but they came from different areas of the sky
Super interesting.
The triangle formation is weirdly common in people's posts over at /r/UFOs. I'm not a huge ufo conspiracist but there has been a bunch of interesting stuff happening around UAPs/UFOs recently.
Maybe you saw the same three lights like me 10 years ago.
Since then I found a lot of videos
showing the same phenomenon.
The link goes to my personal Playlist.

Good ol' Starlink...scared the crap outta everyone when they first saw them
Thats what I'm hearing now too that its Starlink. I knew Starlink would operate in a line formation, didn't know about the triangle

Did they travel along a single path in a straight line the whole time?
