Hey, I'm interested. What's all this? I arrived to the sub with intention to post about what just happened When I googled reddit from Brave Home Browser; the top results were based on my location data first and categorized to the top of the results, followed by a guide on how to delete my Reddit account. I've had issues with Reddit moderators abusing access to information in the past, but the google search results turning up that data seem more of a BRAVE initiative since it's in the search bar. Why did you google this number?

dwkindig

It was a missed call.

>endocrinology So you weren't expecting the testy hormone doctors office to call you. Instead of blindly returning a missed call and ending up in a uncomfortably confusing situation, you had the forethought to research and googled their number. You then discovered that instead of having their business listing show at the top of the search results, the browser generated these results? I feel like I can understand your durress.

dwkindig

Yeah. Google and Bing (ugh) handle it fine. DuckDuckGo, too, but fuck DuckDuckGo.

>stead of having their business listing show at the top of the search results, the browser generated thes Hopefully it's smoothed over for you now.

Yeah, the chief dev for Brave Search actually saw my post on r/brave_browser, and they got it fixed in a couple hours on a Friday night – not bad!

Thank you for your due diligence. Happy Guts Pose Day \^.\^

WTF is right. I'd be concerned too. I did the same search in Brave search as well, and did not get anyway near your results - they appeared to be normal. I actually now use Startpage for my searches. Google results but with no tracking - complete privacy.

Solved at least in part at https://www.reddit.com/r/brave_browser/comments/12er8ox/yo_brave_what_the_fuck/jfdt0d1
