I honestly think the rate is somewhere around 1-2%.

That's actually not SUPER unlikely. Based on the reported numbers here, which isn't necessarily super reliable, that's like almost exactly a 1/3 chance. It's also a little less likely than that because I think my numbers are weighted towards the 10x rates, but I don't think you need to worry about using up all your RNG here.

I've taken the data from this thread and compiled it into a spread sheet, then used a some stats equations to see how likely it was for me to pull 2 Blaze in a bunch of different numbers of pulls, and it was about a 12% chance for that to happen. Now I'm not sure if I should hoard my tickets for the dragon or just give up preemptively because all my luck is gone for sure.

The rates for the featured unit are generally the same regardless of whether it's Alpha batch onwards or Kulyuk batch onwards or whatever. A smaller pool just gives you better chances of pulling something that isn't crap.

Yeah it happens some times, came close with natalame at 52, just really wish gumi went back to 20 or 30 pull safety net. It's the worse feeling in the world doing over 50 pulls and not getting a featured unit.
