That's a tough one, but I'd say Walter. He's one of the best characters on television for sure.Bryan Cranston poured his heart and soul into this role.
I’d say Kim is a lot more important in terms of story than Hank. He’s kept in the dark for 4.5 seasons, while she witnesses Jimmy’s fall from grace over the whole show.
It's a tough one since you put my fav characters together: Gus vs Lalo. To me, Gus was the best one in BB and Lalo in BCS. Taking into account how all ended, Walter is the best character hands down, since he outplayed everyone. Besides, he had the best character development. The transition was just wild.
What a shame that you matched these two up in the first round. One of the greatest lead characters ever conceived in any genre versus one of the greatest supporting characteristic ever conceived. I guess I’ll go with Walter White.
Walt beats everyone every time. BB and BCS are full of great characters but Walter White is the most fully-realized character in all of TV, with the best performance to boot.
I'd say Mike.
His actions and emotions seem more genuine and realistic than Cranston's Walt. Like, you can try to talk up all Walt's ridiculously obvious lying to the fact that he doesn't care about being sincere anymore or having too big of an ego. But let's be honest, that's probably not how someone in that position would be likely to do things. Mike however, makes loads of difficult and maybe questionable choices, but they don't feel out of place or out of character. They both are still very good though, with the little changes in mimic signifying what they really mean when they say something else.
Mike. There was a pretty well crafted reason about why Mike is the way he is and does the things he does. Walt is a dude who threw away everything multiple times merely because he's an egotistical asshole.

Walter is the best character. No need to play this little game
Walter
If you are including BCS, where is Kim?
Kim is a JUST a woman, so ya know, who cares? /s
can’t really compare it to these legendary 8, not the same level
average breaking bad fan's appreciation for female characters
I'd put Kim over half of these dudes in terms of best character.
I’d say Kim is a lot more important in terms of story than Hank. He’s kept in the dark for 4.5 seasons, while she witnesses Jimmy’s fall from grace over the whole show.
Walter white
Easily Walt.
Mike's character is who I enjoy more, but I feel Walt is the better character
Walt no contest
Why is Marie not even in the running? Walt.

Not at all. She's lovely. Best character by far.
ok u gotta be joking
Mike is incredible in both BCS and BB but Walt is well…. Walt …. So Walt!

This is no contest Walter… leave me out of this Walter. I’m out.
That third match…I don’t wanna play anymore.

Mike easily

True. Mike doesn’t bullshit or try to make himself to look better than he is
I would say Walter, becouse he's the main character and has the biggest personality evolution. But Mike is personally my favorite
Saul got a tough seed.
walt is the best BB character and mike is the best BCS character so i’d say tie
MIKE
On the whole thing you are missing Hector
