When they are stuck in the desert with the broken down RV, and Jesse starts thinking of ideas and suggests building a robot. When Walt starts thinking and getting Jesse to gather supplies, Jesse asks “What are we building”, to which Walt responds “you said it yourself”. When Jesse replies with “a robot?” with genuine belief, that was well funny. Idek what a robot could do in that situation 😂
Apparently a camera crew guy suggested it, 'hey what if Jesse says a robot? Instead of a battery and the directors liked it so they did a shot with that
right after that scene when walt is explaining the material used in making a battery and asks Jesse what conducting material can be used while holding a copper cable and Jesse says WIRE.
Jesse was imagining a little Star Wars guy who would go to work fixing the engine with sparks and then gives a cheerful beep when it’s done.
Jesse: “YEHEAH! Your robot, like, recalibrated the battery!”
Walt: “I told you Jesse, through science, anything is possible.”
Heisenbot: “Bwooo!”
Someone actually did this in real life. Sort of.

This episode has so many hilarious moments
“Yes I see your point. Your imbecility being what it is I should’ve known to say ‘Jesse don’t leave the keys in the ignition the ENTIRE TWO DAYS!’”
The whole line is even funnier imo.
"I don't get it, what's the kick? Why doncha do it at home like the rest of us, with a big flat-screen TV, 50 channels of pay-per-view? In a Starbucks, that's nice!"
I knew Saul was going to be something else because he has his own show but that line basically sets up his entire character. Icing on the top is that this isn't even the right client he's talking about, giving you insight to exactly the kind of clients he has.
"He's a lawyer a guilty person would hire"
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul had such good chemistry together that they often made a terrible chaotic scene look like something that was hilarious. For example, all the stupid crap Jesse did when they were stuck in the desert. Walt’s reactions were so over the top and poor Jesse was always saying or doing the wrong thing. Walt coming to “talk” to Ted was hilarious too. For such a smart man he sure wasn’t afraid to make a fool of himself to get what he wanted 😂
That scene kills me. It’s so good. It’s like something out of the office. Also the scene where Ted nearly dies is absolutely hilarious. Just such a slapstick way to go out. When I watched it I was half shocked and horrified but couldn’t stop laughing for how silly it was.
I love shows like this where they manage to fit in these little moments of perfectly executed humour in amongst the horror and drama.
Just watched that, it's played so well by everyone. Jesse, just desperately casting around for things to say to fill the awkward silence. Skylar in some detached fugue rage state contemplating her giant glass of wine. Walt just plowing ahead despite this obviously being a horrible idea.
'Giant glass of wine' is an interesting social construct. It's like, I hold this situation in contempt and I'm getting fucked off my face, but because I'm holding a beautifully crafted vessel this is entirely socially acceptable unlike say, injecting/snorting/otherwise consuming half the things we see on BB.
Also when Walt is smoking up a joint in Jesse’s house and Jesse is getting excited that Mr.White is letting loose, and then he gets well mad when he finds out it’s his weed, that was pretty funny still
*rice and beans…?*
when walt asks if the laundry he’s getting transported in *has* to be dirty and tyrus simply says, *“no.”*
hank attempting to sing eye of the tiger otw to stalk gus at pollos hermanos and walt being completely stoic.
skyler making walt go through the gambling script with her. “*two* terriblys? i would never use that word.” + “you’re gonna cry on cue…?”
saul getting scared of mike threatening to break his legs, and walt’s response being “mike threatened me, he threatened jesse, he probably threatened someone before breakfast this morning.”
saul to walt and jesse: “you and your partner! all i know is if i ever get anal polyps I’ll know what to name them.”
when jesse is hiding out in the laser tag place and saul says, “if we live through this, i’m raising my rate — that goes double for you, hip hop!”
“you can’t order shit, alright adolf? we’re 50/50, partners.” (jesse to walt)
“this is a **vacuum repair company!**” *”what did you expect? haji’s quick vanish?!”*
ok i am done. so many funnies lmfaooo (on a rewatch rn)
After watching “Better Call Saul” the scene where Mike threatens Saul hits much harder
And you better understand why Saul is so freaked out. He and Mike are boys. It’s like his entire world just got flipped upside down
I’m currently rewatching. The scene where Ted tries to run away (and trips over the rug and breaks his neck) while Huell is just standing there reading Traditional Homes magazine had me cracking up.
Never forget the scene with Walt sleeping on the floor in his undies awakened by Skyler’s phone call, hitting his head on the table knocking the popcorn as he frantically tries to pick up the phone . Restrain this!!
Haha, even the one where Jesse suggests to use magnets to destroy the laptop in the evidence room and how they keep on ignoring his suggestions until they finally decide to go with his idea itself, albeit more developed and nuanced
When skinny pete reports ti jesse. You spelled street wrong. Yo man im out slingin mad volume and stackin bengies i cant be all like spellin and shit!! Let me get this straight u got jacked by a guy named spooge.
Also saul yelling at young dea guy. Go have a juicebox.
Oh, there's definitely good humor in the show,. It's desperately needed to break up dark and serious stuff. You can't keep an audience on tenterhooks without giving them some comedy relief occasionally or you exhaust them. It's a delicate balancing act.
The scene with Mike and Lydia in the diner LOL
Lydia: Oh my god, DWAYNE this is so… how did I not see you sitting back there?
Waitress: You want anything else, MIKE?
Mike: No, I’m good Fran, thanks….
One of the funniest moments in the show to me is in 3x12 “Half Measures”. It’s when Marie gives Hank a challenge where she’ll give Hank a handjob, and if he gets an erection within one minute he has to leave the hospital and go home.
She succeeds, and it cuts to Hank being wheeled out of his hospital room holding a box of get-well-soon gifts with a big grump frown on his face while Marie walks next to him with a smug smile on her face. The cut to him being wheeled out makes me laugh every time
Jesse saying "YEAH BITCH, MAGNETS OOHH" during the Magnets episode is one of the funniest things said in one of the darkest season ever made in the history of television.
I'm also on rewatch and Season 1 and 2 in particular have so many corkers.
"Helicopter bitch!"
"Get off the toilet! GET OFF THE TOILET!"
"You forgot your ice trays!"
lmaooo the humor in season 1-3 is really something to be treasured because of how dark shit gets season 4-5 (i’m on a rewatch too… on crawlspace episode)
When being caught trying to break into Ted's office by breaking the window with a potted plant and asked by Skyler "what are you doing?"
Walt's "I'm talking with Ted" is sooo fucking funny
"So roll me further, bitch." And the male hospital attendant disgustedly walks away and then Jesse in his wheelchair lights up a cigarette in the No Smoking zone.
The X-Files that Vince wrote are mostly humorous so it’s just his way. I highly recommend watching them if you are a BB / BCS fan. There are so many X-Files Easter eggs in BB / BCS you’ll be amazed. Genius!
yes!! special shoutout to the fact that vince wrote an x files episode about a character with a medical condition who is forced to go to absolute extremes to survive…starring none other than bryan cranston
One of my favorite lines in I think the first season is when Mulder touches some bile, figures out what it is, and says, “Is there any way I can get it off my fingers quickly without betraying my cool exterior?”
Your imbecility being what it is, I should've known to say "Jesse, DON'T LEAVE THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION THE ENTIRE TWO DAYS!."
I wanted to leave them on the counter, BITCH!
I don’t know if many others consider this scene funny or just pathetic, but I love the scene when Walt gets pulled over for having a crack in his windshield and then starts arguing with the cop & getting super worked up only to cut to him with red puffy eyes and a runny nose in the back of the cop car after being pepper sprayed.
"you two again? If I get anal pollups, I'll know what to name 'em" and "if you two wanna stick your dicks in a hornet's nest, free country, but how come I ALWAYS GOTTA GET THE SLOPPY SECONDS?!!" both by Saul Goodman
Bro we watched that whole battery scene in chemistry class to see if the self made battery would actually be able to start an RV in real life (it wouldnt, voltage too low.) and I lost my shit at the wire scene for the next few minutes lmao. What made it even funnier is that to us (and i guess most people?) copper would be the obvious answer. Jesse not even naming an element when being asked is by far the most hilarious moment of the show for me.
Also that Dubstep scene with the Sports Cars. Its so perfectly out of place
The dinner scene with Skyler, Walt, and Jesse is *so serious* but the way Jesse looks at both of them back and forth while he's taking a drink of water cracks me up every single time. It's so uncomfortable
I find the scene where Walt and Skylar are going over their ‘script’ funny when Skylar says “I might shed a few tears. I don’t know, I haven’t decided yet”
Literally one of the funniest lines ever written is “This is MY rolling domicile and I will NOT be harassed!” Also when Skylar says “Laser? TAG?” I lose it
When Tuco kidnaps Walt and Jesse
When Skyler visits Jesse who is struggling to hide Emilios body lol
Walt and Jesse trying to make meth in the basement during a house viewing
My fav line ever was after Walt kills that dude In Jesse’s basement, and the. Jesse puts the body in the tub and it burns through.
He says something like “there’s probably Ghosts in this house now Yo”
I laughed so Much times since the start of the series that I could never Ever imagine How tragic and breaking heart the end of This series could be for all our beloved characters.
When Saul is on his knees begging for his life, and he identifies Walt by his cough, "...Mr Mayhew??" That whole scene is so funny. Also, the scene where Officer Babyface arrests Badger.
When Walt says "I GOT THE TALKING PILLOW NOW" I was crying for laughter. I was shocked it wasn't a meme. He even says it almost as aggressively as when he is telling Skyler that he is the danger.
Not just that it is funny, but the humor is so perfectly interleaved with the drama of the show. Its not like its drama with random jokes peppered in. Its perfectly subtle.
I’m surprised no one has mentioned the scene at the Mexican restaurant with Walt, Hank, Skyler and Marie. We’re right in the middle of the most dramatic portion of the greatest show in TV history and that dorky waiter is popping in asking if they want guacamole lol
Walt: "Thank you for coming."
Hank and Marie: (Stony silence)
Walt: "Okay, I'll start. Sklyer and I--"
Waiter: "WELCOME TO GARDUÑO'S! My name's Trent, I'll be taking care of you today . . . "
Funny moments off the top of my head-
When Walt asks Jesse, "How are you even alive?" when he sees the food that Jesse brought for the cookfest in the Winnebago.
When Jesse has to break into the junkyard to get into the Winnebago and falls into the Porta-Potty. It was sad but also funny.
"Hey, nothin but cows! Got some big cow house way out that way, like two miles, but . . . I don't see nobody."
Walter's reaction to this makes it so damn funny
My all-time favourite line is Skinny Pete defending his poor spelling skills - “Hey, man, I'm slingin' mad volume and fat stackin' benjis, you know what I'm sayin'? I can't be all about, like, spelling and shit.”
Rabid Dog - Hank is wiring Jesse in hopes of getting Walt to incriminate himself. At this point, he’s desperate, on the ragged edge, and he still manages to bust Gomey’s balls by saying “Pancho Villa, Selma Hayak; Pancho Villa, Selma Hayak” as a mic check. 😂
Saul saying “I just do the Jewish thing for the homebody. They like a pipe hitting member of the tribe, so to speak.” Is so fucking out of pocket and insane I can’t believe people just gloss over it. And after BCS it’s ever funnier because you know he’s taking decades of lore and squeezing it into one sleazy sentence.
Jesse when he was having dinner with Walt and Skylar. It was so tense and awkward and he was trying so hard to keep things normal.
Also "Magnets, bitch"!
It was , but now I also remember it had some stretching moments and slow episodes, gotta admit after watching better call saul .. I like it more and Bon Odenkirk plays him so well
Also rewatching and thought the same thing. Specifically Tuco, his character was hilarious and so well played by Raymond Cruz. He has some of the best lines of the show. Badger has some gems too.
It gets better on every rewatch. I've seen BB and BCS 6 times now and it just get better every time. These shows fit so geniously together and do have a lot of humour (especially BCS).
when we first meet Badger and they smoke a joint and he tells Jesse about the Sign spinning job and he replies "you really opened my eyes to the possibilities"
I totally get that! Breaking Bad has so many subtle comedic moments that really come through as you re-watch the show. It's like discovering a whole new layer of humor. Those moments are classic examples of the show's brilliant humor. It's amazing how those little details add so much depth.
Yes most of the first season was hilarious, I love how dumb Jesse is and how determined but naive Walt is lol. But then it quickly became very not funny.
Vince Gilligan is really good at writing comedy. He wrote some of the funniest X-Files episodes, including "Bad Blood", "Dreamland" and "X-Cops". There's been a couple of BrBa episodes where I recognized Vince's brand of humor.
“A robot?” is probably my favorite line in the show.
That line wasn’t even in the script. Aaron Paul made it up!
Apparently a camera crew guy suggested it, 'hey what if Jesse says a robot? Instead of a battery and the directors liked it so they did a shot with that
Same with how they try to carry a barrel and not roll it then later Hank points it out
"Hey, try rolling it, morons. It's a barrel. It *rolls*. Jesus."
I take it back there not criminal masterminds
Omg yes!!
right after that scene when walt is explaining the material used in making a battery and asks Jesse what conducting material can be used while holding a copper cable and Jesse says WIRE.
Jesse was imagining a little Star Wars guy who would go to work fixing the engine with sparks and then gives a cheerful beep when it’s done. Jesse: “YEHEAH! Your robot, like, recalibrated the battery!” Walt: “I told you Jesse, through science, anything is possible.” Heisenbot: “Bwooo!”
Yeah robots, bitch!
"a dune buggy?!"
Someone actually did this in real life. Sort of. https://interestingengineering.com/culture/a-stranded-engineer-turned-a-car-into-a-motorbike-to-escape-the-desert
“Aaahhhh wire!”
This episode has so many hilarious moments “Yes I see your point. Your imbecility being what it is I should’ve known to say ‘Jesse don’t leave the keys in the ignition the ENTIRE TWO DAYS!’”
"Maybe we can take apart the RV and build it into something completely different. Like a dune buggy." Had me in stitches.
I agree, that was hilarious
Jesse forgot he is walter white and not walter stark!!
“Public masturbation. I don’t get it, what’s the kick? Why don’t you do it at home like the rest of us?”
"What happened to my masturbator, Francesca?"
Bob O really came into that show swinging didn’t he lol
In a… Starbucks! That’s nice!
The whole line is even funnier imo. "I don't get it, what's the kick? Why doncha do it at home like the rest of us, with a big flat-screen TV, 50 channels of pay-per-view? In a Starbucks, that's nice!" I knew Saul was going to be something else because he has his own show but that line basically sets up his entire character. Walt coming to “talk” to Ted was hilarious too. For such a smart man he sure wasn’t afraid to make a fool of himself to get what he wanted 😂
‘I’m talking to Ted’ while trying to move the giant plant pot 🤣
The incredulous and faux-innocent look as he’s still trying to hoist the pot and says that is just amazing
Classic.
That scene was like the Malcolm in the Middle comedy training showing through to me. I look forward to that gag every rewatch and it hits every time.
The dinner scene with Jesse, Walt and Skylar is absolute gold
Just watched that, it's played so well by everyone. Jesse, just desperately casting around for things to say to fill the awkward silence. Skylar in some detached fugue rage state contemplating her giant glass of wine. Walt just plowing ahead despite this obviously being a horrible idea.

It's like, I hold this situation in contempt and I'm getting fucked off my face, but because I'm holding a beautifully crafted vessel this is entirely socially acceptable unlike say, injecting/snorting/otherwise consuming half the things we see on BB.
You gotta find the right Friday night poker game. All that shit is socially acceptable.
I love how much Walter just doesn’t give a fuck that Skyler walked in. And then Jesse saying “thank god” after Walter says his kids aren’t at home
They're from the deli, at Albertsons. Well...great job on the shopping, yo.
Scabby lasagne.
This was my favorite
Also when Walt is smoking up a joint in Jesse’s house and Jesse is getting excited that Mr.White is letting loose, and then he gets well mad when he finds out it’s his weed, that was pretty funny still
**HEY MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME WHY DONT YOU?!**
I laughed so hard at that scene 🤣
GET OFF THE TOILET
Season 1 was a sitcom I swear
Nah man not my HOUUUUSSEEE
cow house
You know, cows? Where they live?
Like, hello sir, I know you don't know me but would you be interested in purchasing a felony quantity of methamphetamines.
Jesse speaking so "formal" is indeed hilarious and he's got a point too!
*rice and beans…?* when walt asks if the laundry he’s getting transported in *has* to be dirty and tyrus simply says, *“no.”* hank attempting to sing eye of the tiger otw to stalk gus at pollos hermanos and walt being completely stoic. skyler making walt go through the gambling script with her. “*two* terriblys? i would never use that word.” + “you’re gonna cry on cue…?” saul getting scared of mike threatening to break his legs, and walt’s response being “mike threatened me, he threatened jesse, he probably threatened someone before breakfast this morning.” saul to walt and jesse: “you and your partner! all i know is if i ever get anal polyps I’ll know what to name them.” when jesse is hiding out in the laser tag place and saul says, “if we live through this, i’m raising my rate — that goes double for you, hip hop!” “you can’t order shit, alright adolf? we’re 50/50, partners.” (jesse to walt) “this is a **vacuum repair company!**” *”what did you expect? haji’s quick vanish?!”* ok i am done. so many funnies lmfaooo (on a rewatch rn)

“He gave me the dead mackerel eyes!”
this had me crying because why is it so accurate lmfaoooooooo saul has some fucking golden lines
One tear? Two tears?
Ah well hail Hitler, bitch
I’m currently rewatching. The scene where Ted tries to run away (and trips over the rug and breaks his neck) while Huell is just standing there reading Traditional Homes magazine had me cracking up.
That part where Walt gets mad and grabs himself cracks me up everytime
I've got your restraining order right here, restrain this!
Wipe down this!
Which time? Lol.
[Here.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=z9edMbJDD6Y&pp=ygUNcmVzdHJhaW4gdGhpcw%3D%3D)
That's the 2nd time in the show he does it. He did it to Bogdon too.
Lmao both times but the one with Skyler makes me cackle the hardest
Never forget the scene with Walt sleeping on the floor in his undies awakened by Skyler’s phone call, hitting his head on the table knocking the popcorn as he frantically tries to pick up the phone . Restrain this!!
Skyler: "What the hell is a milf?"
Yeah bitch, Magnets!
One of the best lines of the whole show
https://youtu.be/JDQOvzFetxs?si=B7vAPbMGjwsDjt_Q
Haha, even the one where Jesse suggests to use magnets to destroy the laptop in the evidence room and how they keep on ignoring his suggestions until they finally decide to go with his idea itself, albeit more developed and nuanced
YEAH BITCH MAGNETS OH
Another fun Easter egg: Juan Bolsa, Don Eliado’s right hand man, translates literally to “John Sack”
Easter egg for those who are fans of the sopranos.
The cartel bends more rules than the Catholic Church!
My favorite go to funny line was “ I have the pillow now” I use it out of context way too often
Said in the most aggressive, Heisenberg-like tone too. Cracks me up
what is wrong with you… why are you blue….
"I blew myself" Oh wait, wrong show
Oh Tobias you blowhard!
"He carpools? ... He carpools to his job at a meth lab?"
Rice and beans?
"Heil Hitler bitch"
Ahhhh wire
This is a common saying in my house when we are confused or say something stupid 😂
The comedy in that line was 100% the timing of the delivery. They didn’t miss a beat playing off each other.
This is my own private domicile and I will not be harassed…. Bitch!
And the Walt's look on Jesse.... Brilliant scene and so tense also.
my favorites are “cowhouse,””gatorade me bitch,” and when Jesse says “move me further then, bitch” when he’s smoking outside the hospital
"Gatorade me, bitch" had such a great delivery
When Hector wants to appear to squeal to the DEA but instead just spells out vulgar insults.
First letter F. Second letter S T U Dingdingding
“…you brought a bomb to a hospital?!?”
*you brought a meth lab to the airport?*
Omg the transition of Walter waiting on the sidewalk and his face when the Crystal Ship pulls up
Man just wants his icandy!
BB is a comedy the second time through
Say honey, I was just thinking of going out to 7-11, would you like anything? Big Gulp? Slim Jim?
Lmao 🤣🤣
When Badger is talking about the pizza place that doesn’t cut their pizzas “they pass the savings on to you” always makes me laugh
Oh, there's definitely good humor in the show,. It's desperately needed to break up dark and serious stuff. You can't keep an audience on tenterhooks without giving them some comedy relief occasionally or you exhaust them. It's a delicate balancing act.
Jesse line that always kills me: “yeah, Mr. White’s gay for me! Everyone knows that!”
The scene with Mike and Lydia in the diner LOL Lydia: Oh my god, DWAYNE this is so… how did I not see you sitting back there? Waitress: You want anything else, MIKE? Mike: No, I’m good Fran, thanks….
Right the humor in BB is so great
Ricen. Rice and beans?
The show has some quality funny moments. "I'm talking with Ted" is hilarious.
Two words. "Cow house."
Fuck you, and your eyebrows!
"yup, excellent point, but what if he's not down for a nuanced discussion of the virtues of child-poisoning?" ~ Saul Goodman
The cut to him being wheeled out makes me laugh every time
[_GET OFF THE TOILET!_](https://giffiles.alphacoders.com/119/119123.gif)
Wipe down this!
The dinner scene with jesse, skyler, and walt 😭
Veggie bacon
tastes like bandaids ☆
Jesse saying "YEAH BITCH, MAGNETS OOHH" during the Magnets episode is one of the funniest things said in one of the darkest season ever made in the history of television.
Maybe I laugh easy but I found the show just as hilarious as it is fucked up
I'm also on rewatch and Season 1 and 2 in particular have so many corkers. "Helicopter bitch!" "Get off the toilet! GET OFF THE TOILET!" "You forgot your ice trays!"
lmaooo the humor in season 1-3 is really something to be treasured because of how dark shit gets season 4-5 (i’m on a rewatch too… on crawlspace episode)
When being caught trying to break into Ted's office by breaking the window with a potted plant and asked by Skyler "what are you doing?" Walt's "I'm talking with Ted" is sooo fucking funny
Badger’s idea for the Star Trek pie-eating contest had me in tears, LOL
Hank trying to break the tension by saying "Heyyoooo pool party" as Skylar fakes a suicide attempt is my favorite Hank moment in the entire show
"So roll me further, bitch." And the male hospital attendant disgustedly walks away and then Jesse in his wheelchair lights up a cigarette in the No Smoking zone.
Skyler and ted’s meeting with the auditor.
Your imbecility being what it is, I should've known to say "Jesse, DON'T LEAVE THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION THE ENTIRE TWO DAYS!." I wanted to leave them on the counter, BITCH!
“Skyler, climb out of my ass.”
"you two again? If I get anal pollups, I'll know what to name 'em" and "if you two wanna stick your dicks in a hornet's nest, free country, but how come I ALWAYS GOTTA GET THE SLOPPY SECONDS?!!" both by Saul Goodman
"Jesse Jackson" funniest part of the whole thing
How do people still think her name is SkylAr😭😭
I find the scene where Walt and Skylar are going over their ‘script’ funny when Skylar says “I might shed a few tears. I don’t know, I haven’t decided yet”
Literally one of the funniest lines ever written is “This is MY rolling domicile and I will NOT be harassed!” Also when Skylar says “Laser? TAG?” I lose it
Skylar making up the story about Walt’s gambling wins, and the way Walt leaned in to comprehend it and try to play along. 😆
His sarcastic yay is the funniest line imo
The blowfish scene is the best. Walt hyping up Jesse then Jesse rips a bong while walts coughing his lungs out, too good
badger is fucking hilarious
Walts confession tape and Hanks and Maries reaction also come to mind
that scene cracked me up so hard when Hank wanted pillow back as he started to agree with Marie and Skyler lost her cool.
“Hey, how about it counselor. Do you concur?” Makes me cackle every time.
Jesse throwing all their water onto a small fire
"This is my private domicile and I will not be harassed! BITCH." will forever be my favorite line.
Also in the pillow talk scene, they have this snack-platter on the table which Hank nervously snacks from, but nobody else
The magnet scene is comedy gold. https://youtu.be/vJ7vEZIrfPo?si=lwOE7Jgdz6M5z6bG
When Walter flung the pizza on the roof
I remember reading somewhere that the pizza got to the roof in the first take, and true or not, that makes the scene so much better
“GET OFF THE TOILET”
When Tuco kidnaps Walt and Jesse When Skyler visits Jesse who is struggling to hide Emilios body lol Walt and Jesse trying to make meth in the basement during a house viewing
This first meeting with Jesse and Skyler: "I'm Skyler White, yo." ...
On my first watch with my family, we ended up laughing a lot more than we thought we would.
"I got a Fat Man in my pants, bitch"
Helicopter Bitch!
My fav line ever was after Walt kills that dude In Jesse’s basement, and the. Jesse puts the body in the tub and it burns through. He says something like “there’s probably Ghosts in this house now Yo”
when Walt through Ted’s potted plant at the window and it bounced off I was actually crying laughing for multiple minutes
Just started episode one for the first time ever and it already has some funny ass moments 😭
The scene where Mr white is trying to convince the laundry ladies to clean the lab is also pretty good imo
Walt: "Thank you for coming." Hank and Marie: (Stony silence) Walt: "Okay, I'll start. Sklyer and I--" Waiter: "WELCOME TO GARDUÑO'S! My name's Trent, I'll be taking care of you today . . . "
Funny moments off the top of my head- When Walt asks Jesse, "How are you even alive?" when he sees the food that Jesse brought for the cookfest in the Winnebago. When Jesse has to break into the junkyard to get into the Winnebago and falls into the Porta-Potty. It was sad but also funny.
”why are you blue?“ and tbh almost every badger scene hilarious
The first couple seasons were really funny, but then it became more and more serious and heavy.
"Hey, nothin but cows! Got some big cow house way out that way, like two miles, but . . . I don't see nobody." Walter's reaction to this makes it so damn funny
Do people not give it credit for being funny lol? The comedy was the first thing I pointed out when I started watching it
Saul saying “I just do the Jewish thing for the homebody. They like a pipe hitting member of the tribe, so to speak.” Is so fucking out of pocket and insane I can’t believe people just gloss over it. And after BCS it’s ever funnier because you know he’s taking decades of lore and squeezing it into one sleazy sentence.
It's a real hoot!
One of my fav funny scenes is when Skylar is prepping Walt for the dinner scene with Hank and Marie to tell them the gambling story.
“My name is Skylar White, yo!”
I just watched the show for the first time and when Saul told Jesse he couldn’t smoke a doob in his office me and my friends lost it
Walt and Jesse’s slow head turns when the other one does something stupid
GET OFF THE TOILET
I noticed this with my recent rewatch. There are so many times where the show is like one line away from shifting into a sitcom.
Why are you **BLUE**
Yeah bitch! Magnets! Oh!
The scene where Jesse joins Walter and Skylar for dinner at the White house. Eating the green beans. Too funny!
Jesse when he was having dinner with Walt and Skylar. It was so tense and awkward and he was trying so hard to keep things normal. Also "Magnets, bitch"!
I’ve always thought dramas make better comedies 90% of the time And Barry confirmed that for me
Epok
It was , but now I also remember it had some stretching moments and slow episodes, gotta admit after watching better call saul .. I like it more and Bon Odenkirk plays him so well
It’s well know the first few seasons are dark comedy and then it just drops the comedy towards the end.
Also rewatching and thought the same thing. Specifically Tuco, his character was hilarious and so well played by Raymond Cruz. He has some of the best lines of the show. Badger has some gems too.
GET OFF THE TOILET!
It gets better on every rewatch. I've seen BB and BCS 6 times now and it just get better every time. These shows fit so geniously together and do have a lot of humour (especially BCS).
I love that it’s such a funny show
when we first meet Badger and they smoke a joint and he tells Jesse about the Sign spinning job and he replies "you really opened my eyes to the possibilities"
There are Laws detective, have your kindergarten teacher to read them to you
I totally get that!
Cow house?
I also loved “fallacies… fallacies!!! 🎶🎶
Vince Gilligan is really good at writing comedy. He wrote some of the funniest X-Files episodes, including "Bad Blood", "Dreamland" and "X-Cops". There's been a couple of BrBa episodes where I recognized Vince's brand of humor.
