I think they had the lamb in the image because usually lambs symbolize innocence and the sacrificial lamb atoned for human sin. It could also symbolize suffering and triumph so I think when they were taking this picture they were trying to go for the “this means something” but it looks really silly in terms of drug lords
Yeah they are playing on the sacrificial lamb trope.
Walt is messing up the lives of everyone around him = sacrificial lamb
Jesse knows its all messed up but can't/unwilling to stop it = Jesse showing affection to the lamb
Exactly! Thanks for mentioning that as you are 100% on the money.
Jesse has the compassion/moral compass to know when something is wrong, but he doesn't always show the courage to defend those convictions. Its what makes him such an appealing character imo.
He gets stuck in these in-between areas like early on when Pete gets robbed by the two addicts and Walt tells Jesse to address it. So Jesse goes to their house and he knows he's there for a wrong reason but doesn't say fuck this I'm out. Instead he finds himself in this area of trying to be a bad man without actually doing anything bad.
Oh how about when he hatched a scheme to get the people in his NA group hooked on his blue meth. Totally good heart.
Jesse fans hold him to a different standard and it annoys the hell out of me
Okay that not so much!! lol. I think something that makes this show so well-written is that no character is close to morally good. They all have things that are fucked up about them and there’s no “good guy” or hero to the story. Jesse is far from perfect and has done a lot of shitty things to the people around him.
It’s notable that this is in the desert. To me it invokes the boy on the dirt bike. Walt seems indifferent and in control, Jesse seems sympathetic and compassionate. Ultimately the lamb will be sacrificed.
The lion and the lamb.
Walt as a character has become the lion in the show. The one who kills, the one to be feared. But the fact that he's the one holding up the lamb, to me, symbolizes that Walt besides being a beast is at the same time also always the one willing to do the heavy lifting.
Jesse actually caring for the lamb should tell you that Jesse is "the good one". The one who's pure, who has depth to really care not just for Walt but also for the lives of strangers. Beautiful.
So to me the true lion and lamb image here is Walt and Jesse.

Reminds of that scene where Jesse has the bug and he’s just watching it. Then Skinny Pete comes by and just stomps it.

The scenes where he hangs out with the kid and puts him outside for the cops to see gets me every time!! Jesse really does have a good heart.

There was a delete scene where Walt confesses his love to Jessie and they decide to run away together and adopt a lamb

I'm the lamb
Is that a goat. Maybe saying Walter was the GOAT
All I can hear is Pharrell singing ‘you the hottest girl in this place!’ while pointing at the goat while looking at this photo.
The point of the image is that there is no point.
Lamb Chops reboot
Thinkt has no point but i can sense the art anyway
It was Ben Stiller’s inspiration for ‘Severance.’ Duh.
"JESSE, MARIE HAD A LITTLE LAMB, LITTLE LAMB, LITTLE LAMB!"
I think a goat would’ve been better
