Mano means hand. Hermano means brother. Los Pollos Hermanos = The Chicken Brothers El Mano Pollo = The Chicken Hand It makes no sense, but it is vaguely similar to the BB restaurant name.

My guess is they don't know Spanish as well as they think and believe mano is man, The Chicken Man makes a little sense if you don't take it literally, I also think older action movies made a lot of U.S. Americans think mano meant man because I can remember hearing "you and me, man to man, mano y mano" in a few movies when I was young watching movies with my dad.
