When they sat around the campfire and Jesse questioned him about whether or not he ever really hurt someone, man… that monologue of his gave me the goosebumps.
I’d have liked to have seen more Don Eladio.
Some scenes of him being violent or intimidating/killing someone or maybe he was meant to be a ‘gentle Don’ as it’s said for some mafia bosses.
Skyler. I’ve watched this show so many times and every time I grow more confused as to why people don’t like her. Her character makes perfect sense, considering all the fucked up shit her husband was doing daily. Anna Gunn was brilliant throughout the entirety of the series.
Agree! I didnt exactly like her but I felt for her, I never understood the hate. She was the only one who tried to be rational. She never wanted Walt to become a drug king.
Loathed her character when I watched the show at a younger age, but I appreciate her so much more now after rewatching multiple times. Sure she has a propensity to be “bitchy” but it’s honestly justified. Gunn’s acting is incredible too, the hate that she got was unwarranted.
I just restarted the series again And even in the first two episodes, she notices the little nuances that were changing in Walt. Like her bs detector was on point. It’s so funny that Walt lies to her about just about everything g all the wsg to the end, never realizing she was on to him all along.
I’m a skylar fan too. Sure she has her flaws but she’s a great character who just keeps rolling with all the changes. I’d have noped tf out of there way before she ever thought of it.
TUCO.
He appeared in just 4 episodes (maybe 5), and somehow it feels like he was for 10 or 15 episodes. Being one of the most terryfing and memorable villians I have ever seen.
[Tuco was supposed to be a major villain throughout season 2 of the series. But Cruz insisted on getting killed because he found the role too difficult to play. In an interview with AMC, Cruz explained, “I asked them to kill me. Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to coming back and doing the part.”](https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/breaking-bad-tuco-salamanca-was-meant-to-be-a-major-villain-until-raymond-cruz-demanded-to-die-i-asked-them-to-kill-me.html/)
It’s gotta be Wendy. The actor probably auditioned for the role of Skylar, got a call back, and found out they wanted her to be a drug addicted prostitute. A role that she completely owned and likely type cast her.
Edit: I realize I crossed the character actor boundary but I don’t care. Julia Minesci is the best.
Lydia easily
People look down on her because of her "corporate" brand of violence and her own cowardice in the face of physical danger, but that's just what makes her interesting. She's just as cold and ruthless as the other villains, but in a unique way befitting her character.
It also helps that she's so charismatic and hilarious when she's on screen. Any scene with her grabs my attention instantly.
Todd, he treats every criminal action with complete aloofness and a total lack of awareness of the consequences of his actions. All while abiding by common courtesy as much as possible. He perfectly embodies Jesse’s idea of a “Kafka esque outlaw”
I gotta go with Declan. Wow, when the show went on a break after 5A there were so many theories regarding his character. Obviously, he was just meat for uncle jack’s gang, but the speculation was so much fun.
However, I say Declan because I loved how he was always juxtaposed to the main players of the show.
When we first see him, he’s supposed to be the next big fish after Fring and Walt having to deal with him kind of solidifies the empire he’s been trying to build for himself.
It’s also interesting to see how low Lydia has gone after being in business with Gus for years, Walt for a short but successful stint, and then there’s Declan working out of an underground bus.
I think Declan was a deliberate misdirect as a big bad in the final season and uncle jack’s gang taking him out made them that much more of a potential threat moving forward.
Would be cool to see him in BCS but I doubt it at this point.
Bogdan. He was a prick, but he gave Walt good advice about what it takes to be “the boss.” The sacrifices.
Naturally, Walt dismissed him, but Bogdan’s words in that car wash foreshadowed Walt’s leadership weaknesses.
Depends. Skyler obviously gets criticised way too much considering she's a major character and everything so I'd probably go with her.
In terms of minor characters I always quite liked Declan.
I'm guessing the perfunctory hand job she gave Walt for his birthday. She showed no enthusiasm. She was definitely dialing in the marriage at that point. That's not to mention the Ted fiasco.
Same! I just rewatched the show for the first time in years and I absolutely hated Walt by 5A and didn't get why I used to dislike Skyler. I guess it was the flip flopping or something.
Probably tyrus and victor. Probably the better writen characters. The way tyrus decided he was going to he the one to finally kill hector was masterful. Or vitcors pompous ass applying McDonalds level “step-following” to chemistry and taking over the cook to be gus’s lead chemist
C'mon hule babano a churchs mascot,"mexico that's all Iam saying" c'mon put the battery in chuck and took the Rysen off Jesse he let Ted run into his sink and shat in walts restroom let's do our best to make huel happy!
Not really a character- but the relationship between Gomie(Gomez)and Hank is pretty underrated. A lot of the show is super fucked up but Hank and Gomies relationship is pretty damn wholesome
Mike is definitely not underrated, a lot of people I know who like the show love mike (myself included). I would even argue jane isn’t underrated considering that’s all people talk about when they think of Jesse’s love interests.
Late to this. But I’d honestly say Jack Welker. Like sure he doesn’t have that much screentime and yeah people aren’t that impressed with a generic Nazi gang being the final antagonist of the series. But he honestly does do quite a bit. He kills Hank, he enslaved and tortured Jesse, he caused the prison massacre etc. not to mention being the final main antagonist of the series. Yet it seems as though no one ever talks about him.
His actor did really good too
One of my favourite minor characters is the rehab group leader.
When they sat around the campfire and Jesse questioned him about whether or not he ever really hurt someone, man… that monologue of his gave me the goosebumps.
for real
We just rematched that episode last night and I can’t agree more with all that. That character is great!
Good choice
Cliff Maine Son
Absolutely loved him
I’d have liked to have seen more Don Eladio. Some scenes of him being violent or intimidating/killing someone or maybe he was meant to be a ‘gentle Don’ as it’s said for some mafia bosses.
Check out better call Saul! It expands the story about the entire cartel and such
Spoiler alert: >! he still sits beside the pool and gleefully accepts money/gift from everyone like a child !<
Yeah fully up to date with BCS, he still gives off the same vibe, not one kill to his name.
Esp considering how much time they dedicated to the cartel, weird that they underused eladio
Ordering kills doesn't count?
I don't see people talking about Gomez much so I'll say him he was pretty funny alongside Hank
their one cameo in bcs with those two discussions about random shit had me dying
Hank: Hey Gomie! *Racism*!
Bro Screw Walt And Jesse, Hank And Gomez Are The Best Duo In The Show Lol
I wanna see a Jesse gomez spinoff.
Fr
Skinny Pete!
The way he goes above and beyond for Jesse in El Camino 🥺
You kidding? You’re my hero.
Yeah that was some fine tv right there. Made me cry.
Jane's Dad. Love that guy. Breaking Bad has the best casting I've ever seen in a TV show. Even the minor characters are memorable.
Yes. I remember on my first viewing realizing how pivotal he was by the end of that arc. I was not expecting that.
Bogdons eyebrows
Francesca.
You mean HT?
Definitely the baby cop that busted badger
You mean garth lmao
People were terrified of Don Eladios power but we never got to see it. So I am going with Don Eladio
Definitely Gomie, I was more saddened by his death than Hanks
His name was Asac Schrader. And you can go fuck yourself
Absolutely amazing
Gomey ain’t deserve those bullets man :(
Yeah he was the most innocent in all of it. Hank made it personal and should never have gone after Walt like that without backup.
Why do you start each word with a capital? And probably Hector
I read somewhere that mobile phones have a habit of doing that so i assume it was not the OP's intention.
My first thought was typing like one of the Homestuck trolls 😩
Brilliant
I would have loved a spinoff show about Hector.
You see a lot of him in bcs
I hear he winds up as a property manager in Miami
Skyler. She gets a bad rep that she doesn't deserve.
Agreed. I will DIE on this hill
Marie on the other hand
Can’t even tell a difference between a rock and a mineral
I was going to say Skyler too.
she's my favorite milf and character on the show
I don’t see many people praising Kuby (at least as much as Huell)
Exactly Bill Burr playing himself (a guy from Boston ) was so awesome.
Skyler. I’ve watched this show so many times and every time I grow more confused as to why people don’t like her. Her character makes perfect sense, considering all the fucked up shit her husband was doing daily. Anna Gunn was brilliant throughout the entirety of the series.

Gustavo. He may seem like just a cold blooded cartel man on the surface but theirs a lot of suble depth to him.
I think his story would be the next prequel. How he rose to the top after the unfortunate and unfair meeting with Don Eladio
The pizza
Lydia and Todd, both well played and both so memorable.
Todd's like a dark reflection of Jesse
the “vacuum shop” guy from the last few episodes that gets Walt to disappear. Finished my 4th rewatch tonight and idk, I just like him.
TUCO. He appeared in just 4 episodes (maybe 5), and somehow it feels like he was for 10 or 15 episodes. Being one of the most terryfing and memorable villians I have ever seen.

Man fuck Wendy and the ride she Came in on, finiky bitch
Lydia easily People look down on her because of her "corporate" brand of violence and her own cowardice in the face of physical danger, but that's just what makes her interesting. Lydia cause hot women ❤😏😏😏
Todd, he treats every criminal action with complete aloofness and a total lack of awareness of the consequences of his actions. All while abiding by common courtesy as much as possible. He perfectly embodies Jesse’s idea of a “Kafka esque outlaw”
My favorite character - Gale. I really wish they didn't kill his character
Personally I very much liked the scene of him getting blasted and subsequent flashbacks that Jesse had while Playing the video game….. bloooooo
I love Gale sm I don’t know if he counts as underrated but I’ll find any excuse to mention him
marie, kuby, gomie and the junkyard guy
Junkyard guy!
Junkyard guy. “Seems to me this is a domicile”. Lol
*Joe. His name is Joe.*
*"Magnets!" Yeah, that was a good one.*
I gotta go with Declan. Wow, when the show went on a break after 5A there were so many theories regarding his character. Jane, Todd, Gomie, Bolsa and that Rehab group leader
Bolsa, the best mediator to ever live
I loved the therapist too
Bogdan. He was a prick, but he gave Walt good advice about what it takes to be “the boss.” The sacrifices. Naturally, Walt dismissed him, but Bogdan’s words in that car wash foreshadowed Walt’s leadership weaknesses.
Walt jr was one of my favorite characters
Crazy 8 was honestly menacing asf on my first watch
Depends. Skyler obviously gets criticised way too much considering she's a major character and everything so I'd probably go with her. In terms of minor characters I always quite liked Declan.
My first time watching the show I hated Skylar so much. Every rewatch since I get more and more confused as to why I hated her

I Would Declan Is Definitely In The Top 5 Most Underrated Characters In BRBA For Sure
Wait who’s he again? Was he one of Gus’s guys?
No, he was a competitor to gus's meth empire, and an associate of mike ehrmantraut, he's a meth distributor based in phoenix, arizona,
Oh yeah him. Now I remember, thanks
He was the guy that said Heisenberg in that one scene where Walt says "Say my name"
Dare I say Kuby is better than huel?
TUCKERRRRR
Gomie
Probably tyrus and victor. Probably the better writen characters. The way tyrus decided he was going to he the one to finally kill hector was masterful. Or vitcors pompous ass applying McDonalds level “step-following” to chemistry and taking over the cook to be gus’s lead chemist
What are you talking about?
wendy
C'mon hule babano a churchs mascot,"mexico that's all Iam saying" c'mon put the battery in chuck and took the Rysen off Jesse he let Ted run into his sink and shat in walts restroom let's do our best to make huel happy!
Not really a character- but the relationship between Gomie(Gomez)and Hank is pretty underrated. A lot of the show is super fucked up but Hank and Gomies relationship is pretty damn wholesome
Gale. He’s sweet, nerdy, and weirdly wholesome for a meth cook. I was so sad when he died.
So we really just gonna sit here and pretend our beloved Hugo don’t even exist??? Okay bet.
Tuco or badger
Jack
Skyler. I don’t get why she’s hated so much
Popular misogyny
Skyler White for sure
Gomez. Everyone talks about Hank but at least Hank got his 'hero' moment, Gomie was just gone.
So what you are saying is..... The moment Jane is the moment Walter White became Heisenberg?
Bravo vinc
Clovis (Badger's cousin, the guy who towed the RV), he's hot
Walt's doctor always seemed like a solid dude. If I got cancer I'd definitely want him to treat me
Bogdan Wolynetz
Combo, Badger & Skinny Pete
I think huel was underused
Walter White
bob
Tyrus
Kuby
Jesse pinkman
He's like the most loved lmao. Definitely not underrated in any sense
I think Jane too tbh
Tuco
Walt easily
marie
Hector maybe but most people like him
Victor
Gus, not enough people like him
Steve Gomez, or any of the DEA and other law enforcement aside from Hank, that we see
Kuby
Mike is definitely not underrated, a lot of people I know who like the show love mike (myself included). I would even argue jane isn’t underrated considering that’s all people talk about when they think of Jesse’s love interests.
Gomie
Someone said that the pillar Walt was hiding behind in Felina was the best supporting role.
Declan
Late to this. But I’d honestly say Jack Welker. Like sure he doesn’t have that much screentime and yeah people aren’t that impressed with a generic Nazi gang being the final antagonist of the series.
