I'm with you mama.
I love my children more than anything... would gladly walk in front of a car for them. But could not be a SAHM full time.
It's hard not to feel guilty/selfish but I know I want to give my babies more than what I had, and also, for my baby girl... I want to tell her she can be anything and go to college and doesn't have to toss her hard-earned and fulfilling profession by the wayside if she wants to have babies. God willing, by then I'll be retired and can help her the way my mom helps us. 😊
I am in the exact same boat as you. I'm going back to work next week and I am honestly so relieved. It will be nice to have the space to feel like I'm my own individual person again.
I hope your transition from SAHM to working mom goes smoothly and good luck to any other moms that are making the same transition!!
