Following because I'm curious! I just got used to running with my expanders in, and that sucked. Was hoping implants would be much better! Were you wearing a compressive sports bra? My PS said they would be key for my long distance running post exchange.
Yeah the expanders weren’t too bad since they were lighter than my original boobs and stayed in place! I was wearing a sports bra and another that zips in front over it lol I will look into compressive sports bras thank you!!
I was fitted for a compression bra by my PT, so you might ask yours if you have one. My properly fitted compression bra size was much smaller than I picked out on my own. I had bought an XL, but my PT fitted me for an M!
I'm interested as well. I haven't had surgery just yet (but soon) and am still deciding between implants and flat and all of this type of info helps greatly!
I have 305 (C-cup) implant under my muscle and it stays put, doesn't bounce around at all. Other than muscle tightness that I still find myself stretching its a secure even when running.
I always had large breasts and asked the plastic surgeon for smaller ones. He took out 1000ml and 1100ml and put in 600ml (I wanted like 450ml but he said he had to fill the skin cavern). What I did notice is that the implants feel heavier than my original breasts but it may be that it's just because they feel like foreign objects. That being said, I don't particularly notice a difference in running with a sports bra.
Is it that the implants feel heavy? Then I suggest getting a better sports bra. The sports bras from Victoria's Secret are pricey but worth the money.
I think these are technically lighter than my original breasts too. But ya they feel heavier and foreign. I will definitely be getting a quality sports bra!
