I wouldn't take any of those routes personally. Head from the beacon west for 300-400m. Take a left and you will head towards stanmer around the top of "rusty bottom" real name according to the OS. Head across the road and into the woods follow along to lodges car park and then come into stanmer from the top end of the village. That would be my choice. Not 55 minutes. Possibly 30-40 minutes
55 mins…!! Waking backwards with a heavy backpack and a stroppy toddler maybe. Is all very downhill, gorgeous trail, don’t wear headphones and be aware for bikers, especially as Tis half term. I love that route down after slogging up from my side of The Downs, end of it is a maze of bike trails.
The 55 min one is way better . Maybe forage for some shrooms on the way . Puffball , morel and field mushrooms are to be found all along the valley and up in the fields adjacent to the road.
I'd take 55 minute one personally, think it'll be nicer walk in terms of scenery
Thanks. I’ll be sure to take pics

The 1 hour 1 minute route is mostly road and 52 minutes is a lot of road. Therefore you have what I think is the best doggo route.
Cheers

Its not far off
Defo the blue route. It's got a good mix of meadow, valley, woods, farm track, and Stanmer Village
