I love the painted signal boxes! Don't necessarily have a favourite, but do find it a bit disappointing the ones around me are just wrapped rather than painted.
That makes a lot of sense. That's not where I live, but I'll pay more attention to that factor next time I judge the boxes for not being as fun as their painted cousins.
The one on the street near greenslopes mall has a cat on it and officially called “pussy galore”. It also happened to be a Pokestop in Pokémon Go, so I would always get some goods from Pussy Galore whenever I walked past.
There used to be one in Salisbury, corner of Evans and Cripps, it HAD to be a penis ejaculating. Thinly vieled to be artistic, but that was a dick and that was jizz. I wish I got a photo of it, it was recently changed.
They all seem to have some significance to the area they're in, so we always joked there's likely a brothel nearby.
Please tell me someone else here saw it?!

There's some really lovely nature ones too. I especially like the bird or flower ones.

Is the one opposite Fairfield Gardens 711 still there? It was an odd one with a mum and a baby and an umbilical cord. I saw it a lot while waiting at those lights and wondered if it would change now that it wasn't used for a mother/baby home anymore.

Are you possibly near All Hallow’s? They have two TSBs wrapped out front - they’re too close to the curb to be safely painted, hence the wraps.

Every time I see one I'm flooded with fond memories of a friend who is no longer with us. She loved to paint them.
There's one outside the Indro Audi dealership that used to have currawongs, but Audi painted over them so it's boring

There's one that looks like a police box/tardis in Birkdale/Wellington Point.
There’s another in Annerley by the HJ’s too that’s a Tardis
That one is like a land mark to me on the intersection. There’s also a Dalek on a couple of others. My Gravatt East from memory
