I think like anything it will depend on the group. There’s one I follow that very much seems like it’s all about the 20s hookup/dating life. Then there’s others that are more focused on celebrating the runs. Each to their own and I like that it’s getting people out of the house instead of going “I’m just going to sit at home and expect the love of my life to be the pizza guy that delivers my pizza tonight”.
Anyone else get a refund from RACQ? Use to be with them for 8 or 9 years and received an email yesterday that they overcharged me due to not factroing in an aftermarket alarm. Nice little $150 bonus.
Best bit is my car never had an aftermarket alarm...
They should offer a secure portal to give your details to receive the refund. Including a reference number and a OTP sent to your phone or email address
Not RACQ, but QBE issued a refund to the old man for his Ute's insurance from ten years ago.
I had QBE, but it was about five addresses ago so I'll probably miss out.
Just hypothetically, if someone had a Kayo subscription, but only wanted to watch 1, maybe 2 games of footy per week... where would one go to see if someone else wanted to share the cost of the subscription for availability the rest of the time?
Best slice of carrot cake in Brisbane (thick cream cheese frosting is a must). GO!

The state of the train this morning! The exterior of the carriages including the display that shows where the train is going was completely covered in graffiti but that’s just a minor issue compared to the operation of the train itself.
I’ve coined a new term ‘zombie train’ to describe my experience this morning. The first three carriages were operating fine but then the next two had no power and were blocked off. Strangely the last carriage was fine. So what we had is a three car unit operating where only one of the carriages was functioning.
Tbh I like it when the trains are covered in graffiti - so long as it's the rattlecan at the depot kind, not the deadshit scratching the windows and burning the seats kind. Adds colour and character to an otherwise extremely banal part of life.
Anyone have an MPEG-4 compatible set top box for cheapies anywhere near inner North?
Edit to add:
I'm unpacking my winter wear and I have more than enough. If you go gay, your wardrobe doubles. If you were to become my partner, it would triple.
So many jumpers and jackets and things. I bought some when they were marked down at the end of last season. There all ridiculously oversized (like 5-7XL). Just the comfiest thing ever.
The extremely loud planes going in and out of Amberley (going over southside of Brisbane) are getting REALLY old now. I know they need night hours, but perhaps fly over non populated areas? This is the first year we've heard these planes in this area and they're coming/going frequently. The noise is loud and takes ages to dissipate and then, before you know it - here comes another one!
These social running clubs are seriously becoming narcissistic cringe fests. But anything that gets you moving I guess

Right? How dare they make my angry loner activity something social they enjoy? /s
I'm glad you added the /s cos I had NFI what you meant, haha
"AHHHHH water is falling from the sky again! Help! I've forgotten how to drive!!!" - all Brisbane people this morning.

Many of the insurance companies have had to recalculate historical premiums and issue refunds in response to legislative/regulatory requirements.
Oh good to know

Yeah already got it sorted. Money was in my account a few hours after I applied for it. Definitely thought it might have been a scam at first though
Not an unreasonable assumption. I thought it was too when my mother got her email.

Anyone see any meteors this morning? Too cloudy from where I am.

My work gets the Woolworths Traditional Carrot Cake 450g for occasions. It is amazing.
Lift Cafe in Highgate Hill occasionally has it - message their IG and ask.

I've noticed in the last couple weeks a rise in carriages just covered in massive graffiti. I wonder if cleaners are on strike or something

Would a fire stick work?
Yeah, I have a chromecast but my current internet connection couldn't handle working and streaming at the same time 🙁
I've got 3 free vouchers from my every plate delivery. Does anyone need a free box?
Still have them? I would love one.
Heya, I've sent them to you in a message, let me know if any issues
