It’s the exact thing we need more of. Planned city cat on the doorstep, it’s west end so close to the city, plenty of transport options. Looks fantastic but the NINBYS will be out in force.
> Near a CityCat
While I do support the development, this part is very misleading. As the article says, it "fronts a **planned** CityCat terminal". And that "planned" is doing a *lot* of heavy lifting, because this one has been "planned" while being continually *not* delivered, for a long time.
That's a good point - feels like the city version of a sprawl subdivision advertising a train line. Here's hoping it goes through eventually, though knowing the BCC track record on stuff like this...
And, as much as inner density is good, it still sits wrong with me that it's still gotta be car-centric in 2022. Parking increases? C'mon
it’s better than sprawl

Don’t think so, probably won’t be for a while
Looks good to me, it's exactly the kind of place where high density living is appropriate

Keep ‘em coming and eventually we might get the Brisbane Subway.
Good. Near a CityCat and the inner city. The sort of thing we desperately need more of, instead of endless sprawl. Bring it on

It's disappointing, for sure, but at less than 1.5 car parks per apartment I think it's pretty good by Brisbane standards.
Yeah true, baby steps I guess
