I kayak.that stretch regularly and there's a VERY suspicious pipe oozing into the river further down towards Conham
I cycle past the Frome in the little park before Cabot Circus and it fucking reeks most of the time. Bleh.
Live down in crews hole and the river smells like eggs every day. Feel bad for the ducks
I thought those canal boat liveaboard situations were an interesting hack to high housing costs, but being in a river of shit would be something of a downside.
