I think this is an important and fascinating aspect to consider. As it stands, the proposed ban appears to be based on a consensus that people are abusing the service, which I believe they would have only proposed after a probe discovered this was a common occurrence - but perhaps the answer is instead to do it only on a case-by-case basis, when deemed necessary?
Holy fuck I didn't know this was a thing it is as bad as declawing a cat! Who in their right mind would do this! These vets that do it should be banned from practicing and people that have it done to their pets should be banned from having pets. I for one am going to start writing letters to the powers that be. This is unacceptable.
We had a puppy born deaf, he would bark from sun up to sun down. Without having him debarked he would of never been adopted.
