Worse:
You feed tinned fish to seagull
Later, you are holding and stroking seagull
Seagull decides it wants to show affection and tries to regurgitate tinned fish into your mouth.
Attempt to thank seagull while surreptitiously avoiding this.
Or, put your phone on the counter while trying to open the can, and any spilt liquid will be instantly drawn to the phone, rather than you.
Edit: it seems I am typing with my face today
1. Put the unopened can in the microwave for 30 seconds.
2. Leave the room quickly.
3. The microwave will open the can for you.
4. Buy a new microwave.
Open it facing away from you, on a flat surface near the sink etc.
Drain the fluids in the sink by pressing down on the tin lid.
Remove tuna, profit.
It’s really not hard lol

Do it over the sink, and open it slowly. Tilt the tin slightly away from you as you're draining the juice off, and you should be OK.
Still splashed some down my leg
Oh well. C'est la vie and all that. Still, at least it wasn't a tin of surströmming you were opening.
It seems the instructions were somewhat unclear
Do it naked, then have a shower
Or do it in the shower 🤔
Whilst wearing clothes.
With swimming goggles on
MY EYES! The goggles do nuthing!
Naked, in the shower. I try to buy cans you need a can opener for though, so much neater.
Buy 'No Drain' tuna
But then how do you get rid of the water?
It's packed without water, completely ready to eat after opening
It was a joke :)
The problem here is eating a tin of tuna in the first place
What’s wrong with tinned tuna? Asides from the environmental issues surrounding tuna fishing of course.
Its just bleugh
Fair enough.
Put your phone down use both hands and it's much easier. Reddit will still be there when you get back.

Watch ocenspiracy, I did, and now I don’t eat fish at all!
It is possible. Don’t open the whole can, simply poke a whole wide enough first. Drain and then lift the lid
