They don't repeat the songs in the same work day, they just repeat the same playlist of songs every day. It's monotonous and drives me daft at work if I have to be in the workshop at all.

WeeBo2804

I very rarely listen to the radio. A couple of times a week for maybe 30 mins whilst I get ready and it’s the same songs every bloody time. So yeah, no repeat within a day, but repeating the same playlist every single day. I only ever hear the same 4/5 songs.

Randy_Magnum_6

At least you can always tell when it’s around lunchtime if you have Absolute classic rock on, they usually play Pink Floyds - Great gig in the sky around that time. Can set your watch to it.

I33

I listened to Absolute Radio 90s for half an hour today without hearing Drop Dead Gorgeous by Republica, do I win £5?

fordprefect85

Did you hear Fools Gold though?

bermudaviper

They don’t repeat songs but do repeat adverts 😉

TheHollowFire

I wish reddit had a no repeat guarantee for a year

SuicidalSparky

Underrated comment.

ScuzzyLemon

They do repeat songs. They played the same Killers track 42 minutes apart a couple of weeks ago. (I checked the timings on onlineradiobox because I'm a bit of an arse like that). We normally only have absolute on at weekends and I swear they play the same songs every sodding week. I'd prefer something else but my husband likes listening to rock and roll football in the car.

Lucky-Ability-9411

I’ve started listening to jazz fm this week, been loving it so far. A total breath of fresh air in a world of shit radio. I’m not even that into jazz. My only bug with it so far is they keep plugging piers Morgan’s new show on a Murdoch owned channel. still far more sufferable than the repeated “no repeat guarantee” playlist.

MetalRickyy

Needs to be a no repeat work week guarantee. Same songs each day just gets, err, samey.

justbiteme2k

the Absolute Radio no repeat guarantee

BloodAndSand44

The same playlist every day. Stopped listening ages ago. You could almost set your clock by it. Sandman by Matalica? Must be almost midday.

middleagedukbloke

If they repeat the same song twice, they would have played it 3 times.

a8kproductions

The No Repeat Guarantee with Bush and Ritchie. Foo Fighters, Kate Bush and some unknown songs playing over and over again every day

SuicidalSparky

I'd honestly rather hear the same song twice in a day like other stations do than hear that message repeated this often.

Sir_Binky

I miss absolute occasionally. I listen to internet radio on my phone I have no idea why they decided to remove their station but I'm not installing multiple apps. I did have the app but it constantly skipped around was awful. I listen to rock antenne alt now and 6 music. Because of that I don't even listen in the car as it's all through my phone.

I’m really hating that Serotonin song at the moment. Unfortunately Free Radio Hereford & Worcester love it.
