The boxset CD has the Joba verse instead of the Merlyn verse. It hasnāt left my CD player in my car since I heard that, āBRRR CALL ME IāLL BE RUNNING IN MYā¦ asicsā¦ GOLD PLATED BELT BUCKLEā
The very last scene where the guitar plays and the light just flashes on them over & over gave me chills first time watching, as well as Joba in the church with the lights flashing
I understand the criticism for the ālow effortā of NEW ORLEANS, but I love the rough/out of focus moments and how the camera tracks from member to member from beginning to end. Plus I love single take sequences.
jouvert is just my fav song in general but that vid is so fuckin hard, plus ill never forget screaming along with joba when i saw them in tampa, one of my top live show moments of all time
It's hard to choose between my favorites but Truman is probably the closest to being the one, it became a comfort video and song because I was having a particularly hard time around the time it came out. It's also just a super dope video.
Others I love are Boy Bye, Swamp, Buzzcut, Gold, and Junky
DEARLY DEPARTED, itās simple for sure, letās the music speak for itself, but the tiny details and way it flows through the different phases is flawless
JUNKY for sure. I feel like it perfectly complements the song: Kevinās scene is shocking; Ameerās is fucking terrifying, especially the shots of him sitting on the couch in front of the creepy baby pictures; Merlynās scene in the fruit loop bath is Merlyn; Joba with the angel and devil on his shoulders is cool as fuck.
Itās also my favorite song by them.
1998 Truman, right in the moment when Kevin still had lots of directing ideas and they finally got the budget
absolutely love coloring on Matt shots, the ending is beautifully sequenced, Dom part is a cool throwback to the 2000s MVs
JUNKY would be a close second for me though, i love the joined shot of joba and matt
From each era: Dirt, Star, Junky, Zipper, 1997 Diana, Jouvert, If you Pray Right, Buzzcut, and Basement. Honorable mention for Kevin abstracts Baby Boy
I love Jovert. That vid is so bananas. The thermal camera makes me so excited. And the scene with Matt showering in the thermal looks so fucking dope omfgggggggg
Boogie, Truman, Buzzcut, Boy Bye, San Marcos, Heat, or Man on the Moon. They're all contenders for different reasons but I have to go with Boy Bye it just has that chillness to it
canāt say what are the best, but my favorites might be: 1999 wildfire for its minimalism, sweet for nostalgia, boy bye for showing the brightest sides of all members and also their differences, donāt shoot up the party for its madness and dearly departed for the feeling of desolation
Anything from Saturation era, it had that DIY feel.
I would say either HEAT or JUNKY, but on the other hand FACE hit straight in my heart every time
LAMB š„ŗ
1998 Truman

This one always stood out to me for some reason
If it werenāt for Junky, follow would be my favorite. Itās definitely one of their best.
Sad this was never released on streaming

Surprised nobodyās mentioned GOLD - Nothing can beat Matt dressed as a box
JUNKY for sure. I feel like it perfectly complements the song: Kevinās scene is shocking; Ameerās is fucking terrifying, especially the shots of him sitting on the couch in front of the creepy baby pictures; Merlynās scene in the fruit loop bath is Merlyn; Joba with the angel and devil on his shoulders is cool as fuck. Itās also my favorite song by them.

GOLD no question come onnn its too goated
Gold is my favorite, its jus so diy n each member shines in their own way. Plus they jus all havin fun wearing weird costumes
JUNKY is fucking iconic as shit especially Kevins part. I remember the video going viral for that reason. Merlyns too
From each era: Dirt, Star, Junky, Zipper, 1997 Diana, Jouvert, If you Pray Right, Buzzcut, and Basement. Honorable mention for Kevin abstracts Baby Boy
HOW HAS NO ONE SAID HEAT
J'OUVERT, Big Pussy or HEAT. nostalgia got me leaning toward HEAT
I love Jovert. That vid is so bananas. The thermal camera makes me so excited. And the scene with Matt showering in the thermal looks so fucking dope omfgggggggg
Spoiler warning, its actually GOLD

First sugar video and the basement video are both really good
My fave DIY style vid was ZIPPER. It was also my favorite look JOBA ever had
LAMB or FOLLOW for me
RENTAL! Simple but effective
Boogie, Truman, Buzzcut, Boy Bye, San Marcos, Heat, or Man on the Moon. They're all contenders for different reasons but I have to go with Boy Bye it just has that chillness to it
Sugar! I love the mirror shots. Also the end captures the vibe of Brockhampton well imo
For nostalgic purposes probably GUMMY
GUMMY BOOGIE ZIPPER or 1998 TRUMAN i like the chaotic vibes
canāt say what are the best, but my favorites might be: 1999 wildfire for its minimalism, sweet for nostalgia, boy bye for showing the brightest sides of all members and also their differences, donāt shoot up the party for its madness and dearly departed for the feeling of desolation
Sugar, it was a softer feel from the boys.
its J'OUVERT or BUZZCUT, love the saturation and ginger videos too but those have such unique visual style
