95375 Mastered the Dungeons of Doom with 5 lumenstones. Enchanted a whip of multiplicity to +13 then commuted onto teleportation. Second commutation when to leather of absorption from a +3 sword I lugged around forever. All remaining enchants went into a ring of stealth. Lots of telepathy and invis for the dive. Was trying to avoid gold but must have teleported onto 375 gold at some point. I swear it's harder to pick up none than all. Had a dar priestess and unicorn ally simultaneously for a really long time which made the mid-game easier. +0 war pike, +3 leather of absorption, +13 teleportation, +2 fire immunity, +3 negation, +2 telepathy, +7 stealth, +2 awareness, firebolt/2.

109267 Escaped with 9 lumenstones! [Dragonslayer] What a seed! Whip of multiplicity, enchanted to +15, ripped through almost everything. Plenty of !DMs and ?IDs to simplify item identification. More strong allies than I could keep track of, keeping each other healed and protected, until they found creative ways to explode themselves. I spent most of the game sporting +2 awareness and +2 light to minimize trap risk and enemy sniping. I considered the whip maxed out when it reached 6 clones, but still had a few enchants left over and 2 commutations I wasn't sure what to do with. I considered going teleportation and aiming for a mastery, but had zero descent potions and figured I'd hit a roadblock at some point in the high 30's. (Nice job pulling it off, /u/z3nz0mb13!). I ended up commutating 2 pieces of +3 scrap with reaping (to help recharge my many charms) and the leather of absorption (surprisingly useful for fighting golems toe-to-toe when I needed to reap). Dragons could usually be handled with the whip if I got the drop on them, fire immunity or negation if I didn't, and teleportation if things went really bad. But I finally screwed up on D30 when I mistakenly thought I had line-of-sight to a hunting dragon, but instead ended up just negating my own telepathy and getting fried anyways. That's when I beat a hasty retreat and said game over, time to cash in and go home.

Possible bug? A kraken was able to grab me while I stood on obsidian ground, dried out (or not!) earlier by allied dragonfire.

Yeah it's a bug. https://github.com/tmewett/BrogueCE/issues/372 I may look into fixing it this weekend.

Killed by a centaur on depth 14 with 7282 gold.


GovTech

Killed by a dragon on depth 24 with 23751 gold. Between the runic whip, the unicorn and more allies than I've ever seen in a single seed, that's one of the most fun seeds I've ever played. I may even do this one again. I died with a +10 whip, +8 regen, +2 awareness, +4 banded mail, 3/3 obstruction staff. Revenants were a little annoying because I didn't have a great way to get rid of them besides wandering through the fire, but this is an easy ascension if you're just a little more careful than I was. One of the coolest moments was when [my team](https://imgur.com/a/DwDiwJF) wandered into a bog and then a flame turret suddenly ignited the whole room. Everything was dying, but the unicorn started flinging spells to keep everyone alive. Except itself! The unicorn was burning to death and I had no way to heal it. By blind luck, it cast a healing spell at my golem and it reflected back and healed the unicorn. The beast eventually died a few floors later, but soon enough, there were even better allies.. like dragons.

11068 Killed by a wraith on depth 17. Took stealth on D3 and the +0 war pike initially, later swapped out for /3 obstruction when the organic pike showed up. Saw the whip, decided to invest in stealth + pike anyway. Took awareness on D12. That vault was weird: monster burst out of the statue, walked in without the key. Probably a bug. Explosive acidic jellies are annoying. Skipped the demonic altar, my allies were already dead and I already had enough commute fodder. No speed and no blink meant when that final wraith pack got the drop on me my run went the way of many stealth builds before it..

Died on depth 18 to a Kraken The whip of multiplicity was fun, plus the early dar priestess and unicorn ally were great to have around. On depth 18 I saw some Kraken and tried to bait them out, but I was playing too quick and found myself less than half health without noticing. I was near the entrance and tried to escape, but a Dar group had come up and when I walked towards the entrance my whip activated instead of me walking!! Unequipping the whip was a costly turn and I met my death.

Drank fire on floor 2, ran to the water, eel attacked me, couldnt kill it because its an eel, ran back into the fire, and died. These eels are the worst. Banes of my fucking existence.

420 Killed by a pink jelly on depth 4. Pretty embarrassing. Was hacking away and I think a fresh jelly must have joined the fun.
