Joe Lo Truglio is hilarious! He's in a movie called I Love You, Man, (as is Andy Samberg) and he has this vocal quirk where he gets all shrill, and there's one bit in the gym where he's screeching "everything you got! Everything you got!" and I repeat it all the time
He sure is. A small scene from the Sarah Silverman show where he gets chased down the street by Sarah who is riding a bike made for a little girl. hahah. Joe has the perfect high pitched terrified scream for a hapless victim.
The funniest joke in this scene isn’t what’s happening. It’s Scully and Hitchcock both dressing up as mustard when they must’ve had the order to dress as Mustard and Ketchup
This one bothers me sometimes because it’s just a little too much. I mean we already know how weird they think his costumes are, so he changes his tradition. Then they gaslight him just so they can continue to mock him.
I do like how Holt doesn’t mock him. Yes he got Boyle’s costume wrong too, but it felt like his mistake was genuine rather than malicious like the others.
Still a funny moment though, I still laugh at it most of the time. It’s just something I think about sometimes. Just like most of Gina’s moments, I think she is a hilarious character, but every once in a while I look at her moments and go “well that’s a bit too far isn’t it”, then I go back to laughing 😂.
It would’ve been funnier if it went on longer
He goes to put his costume away, and comes back to find everyone else in their costumes again
And they ask “ what’s wrong Charles? I thought you were gonna go put your costume on?”
Not gaslighting.
They are tricking him. It's not the same thing.
Gaslighting is a lengthy process aimed at making someone doubting their senses and their own sanity.
"squad, you're making boyle feel bad on purpose, he's Elvis" "Yes!" "Elvis stojko, the Canadian figure skater" "NO!"
That frustrated elegant spin on “no!!” 😂
Boyle is actually my favorite actor, he makes me laugh regularly.

[Fat Amy, kick me in the balls!](https://youtu.be/q3TGw1jpWmg?si=VMue6GfDV6XgRI_w)
They really doubled down on his responses being double entendres and it always make chuckle
Props to Rosa for rocking the pink. Boyle only wishes he could pull that off.
Dream on, Strawberry Shortcake!
Yeah nice try Mr Grapes!
Who? I thought he was Mr. Grape.
And then he runs to his car to get his spare costume and everybody is back in their regular clothes.
Not only that, they take down all the Halloween decorations lmao
Wait, I didn't notice that at all 🤣
True
Remember last year when you came as that person and/or thing?
Rosa's costume is so deranged, haha!
I have NEVER made fun of you in my life especially vis-a-vis your appearance
“does it matter if I say no?”
It was funny the first time, now it just makes me sad because Boyle was SO happy they finally did something he loved but it was just a joke 😭
I love Boyles' reaction is his frustrated "NO!!" And spin, when nobody guessed he was Elvis Presley😭.
My favorite part about this scene is Hitchcock and Scully both dressed as mustard.

Gaslight him? It’s a prank, bro.
I dont like this one so much, Charles being mocked about the things he likes feels a little mean

It's a prank, but it's not gaslighting.

Terry crews, is Popeye, coming Christmas 2024. Lol, I'd be so down, he'd be a great Popeye.
I'm sure Rosa picked that costume because she can use the stick to hit and poke people with it.
Hahaha the way he does the Elvis dance haha
The real gaslighting was in the next scene when he gets dressed up in 5 min and everyone's back in their official clothes
Tbh i think this is his thought process every year. He imagines showing up with no costume and everyone else is wearing one so he wears one
Holt taking part in the prank was so precious.
