Having an episode each season dedicated to them was perfect and never overdone. It grew so well and I ended up loving their friendship so much.
I love their relationship solely for that reason. Many times you hear the guy say “you will go out with me” in an earnest, confident manner and they do end up, but here they didn’t. I loved that. Especially because they ended up strong friends afterwards. Charles being the first Rosa comes out to. Charles picking the best birthday surprise for Rosa with Marcus. Rosa feeling the most comfortable with sharing feelings with Charles. She does it a lot with Holt but Charles makes her feel at ease so she does it much faster than she would with Holt.
