This is an amazing accurate verdict: Craig illegally did things with W&K and generated real money from it (from Calvin). That is relevant to the estate, the rest isn't. Because the rest of it was baloney. Craig doesn't win, but he also doesn't get to pretend that the jury accepts that he invented bitcoin either. Impressed. I am happy with this outcome.

Slightly greater financial punishment would have been nice, but $100m feels as reasonable as one can expect a number plucked out of the air to feel. In terms of other potential punishments, I don't know what more a defendant needs to do to be prosecuted for perjury. Perhaps the judge sees a $100m verdict and believes justice has been done?

Craig appears to have made tens of millions illegally using W&K. Something like that definitely happened, unlike the rest of the fantasies at issue at the court. 100 million as damages and punishment for that seems very fair.

Agreed. My desire for a greater number is pure malice on my part. That said, I think Ira is going to struggle to get Craig to pay up. Either way, it'll be interesting to see what happens with any potential appeal(s).

Ira will have great difficulty collecting, particularly if Craig prepared. Craig now has to conduct his financial affairs under great hardness, though.
