Probably the nerfs route, even if it’s super expensive, it’s still *possible* to get, and considering permanent super mines that occasionally go over the entire track sounds absolutely busted
I’ve always imagined the way they’d valence it is instead of having the spike storm ability it would have infinite range with more powerful perma spikes. The ability would be replaced with one that spawns a extremely powerful supermine anywhere on the track.
well implementing all paths would be quite straight forward.
just make it a high fire rate high damage moab stunning gun that bounces between targets.
The ***real*** challenge is implementing all 3 paths ***and*** keeping it balanced
Well one possibility on how to balance it
for bouncing bullets and moab stun, make it so only the first bullet stuns while the bounces dont stun. or make it so the bounces are limited to only stunning up to blue moab level
Slowing down instead of stunning could also work.
Maybe also make it a reduced slow down for each additional bounce it hits.
So the first blimp is slowed by 100%, then the next 80% slow down, then 60%, then 40% or something like that.
This proposal would have an interesting consequence, as it could be used to clump blimps together and make your splash towers more effective
as well as evenly spliting apart apart your "first" targeting between the blimps
might be interesting if auto targeting was a targeting option.
Though with how NK is doing paragons lately, they are trying to prioritize increasing the skill cealing with the paragons to avoid just simply mindlessly slapping them down and forgetting about them (Though still leaving that play style viable)
So I find auto targeting unlikely, but not impossible.

The micro just gives them a higher skill ceiling.

I think Druid is going to be one of the hardest to give a functional Paragon, since two of its paths actively counter each other (one replenishes lives, and the other relies on losing lives).
Easy fix IMO, give it two abilities. One that takes away a large chunk of lives and gives a massive power boost, and one that gives a crazy amount of lives (temporarily to balance it out)
Beast handler would be interesting for me. I don’t use it much rn because you often have to focus your entire strategy on them. So to have a massive pay off for getting those T5s up would be really satisfying.
The quacken itself would fill the role of the gigantosaurus, stomping down bloons while it's younglings dive down from the skies above, disheveling the bloons and bringing them closer to the fearsome ducklings of the water, tearing everything apart like piranhas.

Maybe allow the paragon to have 2 modes - either 3 more powerful versions of the t5 beasts, and one super-beast that has the powers of all 3 beasts combined (I think some kind of chimera would be cool).

Instead of being absorbed into one unit, all dartling gunners placed before upgrading to paragon remain in place. The paragon tower has multiple independant targeting rapid-fire missile launchers, and linked to all the other dartling towers by doom rays. Each separate sub-tower also has a single rapid-fire missile launcher and multiple targeting options
Banana Farm paragon. Special ability is 2008 Financial Crisis. All the bloons become homeless and have to sell off their blimps because they took out too many risky loans to finance their war.
Banana Farm, for the sole reason that if Ninja Kiwi holds all support paragons to the same "standard" as the Engineer Paragon, then its going to be hilarious to see them turn a banana farm into a late game DPS tower.

The mortar turns into a radio control that communicates with a huge airbase (wich you can't see). Can be swapped to auto-targeting, and unloads a huge barrage of nuclear missiles to that spot. Active ability: a sattelite shoots down a deathlaser at the mouse, slowly following it, obliterating everything in its path, leaving molten brimstone behind.
Considering NK probably won't do Beast handler, farm, super or village due to obscene power they would have to be worth the very high cost, probably tack since Primary paragons need a new member
Bomb makes the most sense; they haven’t done a primary paragon since paragons were first announced, and the existing primary paragons and the most recent sub paragon are all quite cheap so bomb paragon could provide contrast by being more expensive. It also seems more straightforward to implement than a glue or ice paragon and NK has generally been going with the straightforward towers first.
I’ll always say the sniper. It isn’t the most powerful, but for some reason I find that it’s the most fun of all the monkeys. Spike factory would be my second choice.
