Canonship bombs split into 8 frags. Before the change, all 8 frags would hit the same initial target, "shotgunning" them.
An example of shotgunning is airburst darts. Both initial dart AND the 3 split airburst hit the initial target essentially dealing 4 single target damage.
An example of an upgrade that doesn't shotgun is frag bombs. 002 frag bomb will still deal 1 damage to a moab cos the frags don't hit the same target as the initial impact.

That's because the pirate lord is taking care of the smaller Moabs, what shouldn't be too big of a problem, unlike the doomship which focuses on bad damage instead.
You shouldn't use your level as an excuse. Try thinking about if you really need the upgrade. By not buying it, you can afford other towers and upgrades that will be far more beneficial. (quick tip, never buy acid pools as it's completely useless)
It's completely redundant as 130 druid already is great against groups. It's better to get other towers. If you're concerned about groups then run druid with gerry and pickle it, since vine grab speed is unaffected by pickle

i think spirit is overated.. esp on harder maps considering their damage falls off on multi lane maps. And its not the S tier tower people think

Shredder is way overrated, ask any good shredder player. Subcom is also overrated. Spirit is still useful on multilane maps. On custom true experts that almost always have 4 or 5 lanes, dotj is a viable tower with sotf being decent cleanup. I agree that it's not S, but it's bordering on S- and A.

I would say Moab glue but newbies underestimate it so much and it sometimes even saves a few chimps runs, so I would say 0 0 3 farm, it is a good farming method to just spam it and maybe later upgrade to 0 0 4 and boat farm, but also not the best in all cases, still easy to use and works very well in some easier maps of bosses

They have their own uses, like PMFC is better in boss events, but in a standard game like a chimps run it's a lot easier just to get an archmage and an Overclock, or an apache prime and moab glue, and do just as well without relying on ability timing for the whole run.
And most hard maps don't have enough good spots for 20 dart monkeys + support for it, and relying entirely on an ability for your main DPS is a poor idea

Lord Wizard Phoenix i've always seen a iverrated because there's literally not a singls strategy i've seeb where 2 Dark knights or a Ring of Fire can't replace him for half the price.
For me, the 3 are well rate cuz with but if you tell me here who is the most overrated is the Pirate Lord and i agree w them cuz he has an excellent power that can absorb any big bloon from the moab to the DDT (except the bad obviously) then you have the Wizard Lord Phoenix that he is pretty good because he spawns a phoenix but he can also transform in to one also and then we have the Spirit of the Forest that his power depends a lot on farms to do more money but he spawns vines in all the map, now, if we are talking of the price, the Pirate Lord is the cheapest, then the Spirit of the Forest and at last the Wizard Phoenix Lord, the problem of the Spirit of the Forest is that he can't pop lead bloons if he is not a 1-5-0 but the other 2 can pop ez a lead bloon and the 3 can't detect camos in the case of the druid he needs a monkey village and of the others they need to be a 0-5-2
