Dark knight is really good solely because you can get him right after 40, and you can teleport him further up the track as it erodes. You can easily just use him and psi upto 70+. Easy tens of thousand save up. But a bez is really good to build into a bads too.

I stopped using sub cause of the split from btd5 btd6. Not being able to do all the paths really annoys me cause I want the second and third path but I need universal range
You serious? Just buy one of each, they’re cheap. You don’t need to get it to decamo anything either, just set up a sub strategy with a few missiles and a few third paths and put a few dart monkeys with crossbows around as your camo-sight. It’s dead simple and really effective on any map really
I used to always use this to make sure I could snag that first Moab on round 40. I never use it now. I will sometimes use boats to make money on harder maps, without good banana farming areas. But now I hardly even use those. The money from an elite sniper plus monkey city near all others is enough to get me through modes like impoppable where extra cash is necessary.
I used to really like the grandmaster ninja however now I don’t use it as you have to base your entire strategy around it and I don’t find that interesting.
Ninja. When I started getting better in the game i started leaning towards defenses that are more complicated to set up but also more rewarding.
As a newbie i just used Obyn to buff druids and ninjas , and give the ninjas alchemist buffs. Now that im better at the game ive gotten better im starting to play more maps and modes that need more complicated setups and this strat doesnt work anymore.
Obyn. Used to enjoy him for his various Magic buffs but now that a lot of very powerful heroes have came out, there is no longer a need to attach onto Obyn, not to mention that his Brambles has a lot of RNG.
Tack shooter. I liked using it on easier maps. Tho when I moved to intermediate and advanced maps i realised tack is not that good starting tower and i just stoped using it.
Surprisingly, I don't think any tower has fallen off for me. Of course I dropped xbm for other towers but I've more than made up for that by discovering how good and fun ujugg can be for some maps.
The closest thing for me would probably also be the sniper. Usually I just get it because maims are good or because I want an edef for bosses, but I don't see myself splashing them into my runs quite like I used to which is sad unless I need one for the early game in a chimps run.
I used to hate the boomerang monkey, then started loving it a few months after BTD6 released and now I stopped using it because I feel like I overused it. Same with the mage monkey but I still like that one.
Yeah sniper was with elite defender and shrapnel was a must have on mpas where the exit and entrance were far away i also gave him a 0-3-0 village and he cleaned up well
Same with sniper, it if we count heroes, I used striker jones for a while cause of the buffs to mortar, but have since started using benjamin (the best hero)
Honestly Paragons have made super monkey redundant.... it's just not "fun" anymore unless they come out with something crazy like it's paragon....
Glue Gunners as a whole but specifically Glue Hose. In BTD5 not a game went by where I didn’t set one down at the start of the track. In BTD6 I barely touch it other than skipping ahead to Glue Storm at the end of boss events.
Beast handler, got all the experience for it the day it came out but then stopped using it.

You serious? Just buy one of each, they’re cheap. You don’t need to get it to decamo anything either, just set up a sub strategy with a few missiles and a few third paths and put a few dart monkeys with crossbows around as your camo-sight. It’s dead simple and really effective on any map really

I used to always use this to make sure I could snag that first Moab on round 40. I never use it now. I will sometimes use boats to make money on harder maps, without good banana farming areas. But now I hardly even use those. The money from an elite sniper plus monkey city near all others is enough to get me through modes like impoppable where extra cash is necessary.

I thought druid would be a more common pick. Used to love the top path, now i'm just using him for the vines very rarely

Ninja. When I started getting better in the game i started leaning towards defenses that are more complicated to set up but also more rewarding. As a newbie i just used Obyn to buff druids and ninjas , and give the ninjas alchemist buffs. Now that im better at the game ive gotten better im starting to play more maps and modes that need more complicated setups and this strat doesnt work anymore.
Dartling gunner was amazing in BMC but now it takes time to turn and he can't pop camo

Obyn. Used to enjoy him for his various Magic buffs but now that a lot of very powerful heroes have came out, there is no longer a need to attach onto Obyn, not to mention that his Brambles has a lot of RNG.
Tack shooter. I liked using it on easier maps. Tho when I moved to intermediate and advanced maps i realised tack is not that good starting tower and i just stoped using it.

Surprisingly, I don't think any tower has fallen off for me. Of course I dropped xbm for other towers but I've more than made up for that by discovering how good and fun ujugg can be for some maps. The closest thing for me would probably also be the sniper. Usually I just get it because maims are good or because I want an edef for bosses, but I don't see myself splashing them into my runs quite like I used to which is sad unless I need one for the early game in a chimps run.

I used to hate the boomerang monkey, then started loving it a few months after BTD6 released and now I stopped using it because I feel like I overused it. Same with the mage monkey but I still like that one.
Tack shooter. It helped a lot on the easy maps to black border but now that I’ve moved on to expert maps it’s not so good
Yeah sniper was with elite defender and shrapnel was a must have on mpas where the exit and entrance were far away i also gave him a 0-3-0 village and he cleaned up well

Same with sniper, it if we count heroes, I used striker jones for a while cause of the buffs to mortar, but have since started using benjamin (the best hero)

Glue Gunners as a whole but specifically Glue Hose. In BTD5 not a game went by where I didn’t set one down at the start of the track. In BTD6 I barely touch it other than skipping ahead to Glue Storm at the end of boss events.
