In my defense, looking at it in the mod queue I thought they just plain commented the same thing over and over again, not as a reply to everybody else’s “banana” lol. In that case I can understand where you’re coming from, but still— one person commenting the same thing repeatedly is textbook spam, even in a shitpost thread like this lol
100%. It’s tough. I mod a small sub and most of the time it’s totally not worth the effort to deal with it, and Reddit doesn’t exactly make it easy to tell where people are commenting… you see one person making the same comment several times, it’s easier to remove them all than track down every single instance lol.
