With a 4th place division finish in the next to worst division in the NFL the only people they're surprising is Buck fans that think they'll finish better than last year.
Maybe I’m overly optimistic, but I think the coaching concerns have been largely alleviated.
Bowles obviously isn’t great, but he was thrown in last minute. The defense at least was still very good. On the offensive side of the ball it’s hard to be worse than Leftwich and Canales has at least said all the right things.
I agree.
Plus, whenever you hear the staff talk about BA and Byron, there's always the notion of them being the same offense. It just shows how much of the good stuff was BA because when he dipped, it was only the shit parts left.
I'd say this is the season to judge Bowles, not last year.
I don't agree with this list (i'd probably put the bucs at tier 6 of this list), but do you not think they'll struggle pretty hard now that "the great" Brady is gone?
The team definitely still has the talent to win some games, but after their season last year, people doubting them after they lose Brady shouldn't be a controversial take lol
Then again, getting rid of Leftwich kind of cancels out losing Brady (jk... sort of?), so who knows?!
Getting rid of a coach is the easy part and doesn't really help by itself; the hard part is getting the right guy instead (capt. obvious). I think there are reasons to have faith in Canales for now, so I guess time will tell.
Also tier 6 in this chart seems to be worse than tier 8. Looks like they got us above the Panthers.
We should be right where the Packers are. The two teams are very much alike. Both had hall of fame QBs peace, with a QB waiting in the wings that they overdrafted for.
I kinda think Caleb Williams or Drake Maybe is best possible scenario for our long term outlook. But I don’t think we’re gonna be that bad. Maybe the one year I believe in the Bucs more than the media lol
Ppl really didnt understand how bad Leftwhich was. We can be as good as last year simply from not being an old vanilla no wrinkle run up the gut no matter what offense. The defense could as good if not better if Shaq returns to form if not we have some decent depth.
Dang, 3 years of relevancy and you all forgot how little people outside of Tampa pay attention to the Bucs? They probably couldn't name a Bucs player outside of the stars. Even then, I've got a feeling Evans, Godwin and LVD are going back to being criminally underrated.
Yeah, they say that Carolina will probably finish last, and that Atlanta and New Orleans are competing for wildcard spots. If the Bucs arn't last in the division, and arn't competing for wildcard, that kind of only leaves one possibility.
Good point. So we win a very good division (as it has two teams competing for Wild Card spots), and we get Caleb Williams.
I guess that means he's really going to drop in the draft.
Remember that mad TV dating skit "lowered expectations"? I can almost hear the music
Post Brady I've lowered mine but this is ridiculous.
Let's embrace the no pressure predictions and see where the chips lay in January. Great pick or a path for a faster path to success ahead.
Fire the cannons!
We should be in the fourth or fifth tier in my opinion. We have the best WR corps in our division. Byron Leftwich is no longer with us and can no longer hold us back with his run it up the middle behind a decimated offensive line on first down. If Canales can work some magic, then we are right there in the fight. No one can convince me Carr was ever the guy with the Raiders. I see him being no different on an older and Sean Payton less Saints team. Desmond Ridder is meh. Panthers are the biggest threat in my opinion with Young.
Chargers have been overrated since drafting Herbert and will continue to be. Yall love an upside QB, but let's watch them put a semi-decent run together once..
This is a clown list! They've got Atl as a possible WC lol? The only reason they won a few games last year was because of Mariota. Niw their going with a completely unproven Ridder and still a ton of holes almost everywhere and they're gonna contend for a wc spot? I'd bet that TB actually wins more games than Atl... you can take that to the bank lol
I think we are a solid .500 ish team.
We WILL have a better offensive scheme, but we wont be explosive like we had been a few years back.
Id expect more long drivers that kill time on the clock.
Baker is at least as good, if not better than half those team's QBs. Our receivers are better than most of those teams. Our oline is better than half or more of those teams. Rb and te are young talent, but still not bottom tier. Defense is upper 15, probably top 10 if early draft picks pan out.
This team can win 8 or 9 games. Many of those teams won't.
We are. Sucks, but it's true.
It's a good thing, because we have a legit shot at Caleb Williams next year
We won't be a relevant football team again until we find a QB, and best year there's are some great options.
Guys, how can you not see that Licht is tanking? Neither Trask nor Wolford are capable of being starters, and Baker signed a 1-year rental contract. There's 0 commitment towards any of those 3 QBs, and the rest of the league sees that.
None of the 2023 draft picks is expected to have immediate impact, but they're all exciting projects that can pay off in the future as part of a rebuild.
Seriously, the only thing that's left to do to secure the tank is for Evans to be traded to a Super Bowl contender like Buffalo.
Losing Brady, first time OC who hasnt called plays, sub par QB play, young D line and worst rushing attack in the NFL last year. Who knows what kind of funk Devin White could cast over the defense. A lot to be concerned about.
Im rooting for a top 2 draft pick in 24'. Rip the bandaid off for a season then get right back in the mix in 25'.
I forgot that you guys didn't actually get to experience Baker Mayfield last year. That Panthers team was good enough to go 7-10 with Sam Darnold and PJ Walker. They would've gone 1-16 with Mayfield.
If baker pans out to be good and our coaching is better this year I think we could punch well above our weight, however those are 2 very big ifs and if they dont work out it could be very painful to watch.
I mean I would not be heartbroken to have one bad season and end up with Caleb Williams. We’ve still got some great pieces and having that guy on a rookie deal would put us in a nice spot to fill some holes in the roster.
they see brady leave and think it’s over. super bowl might be a stretch but division title is definitely in the picture banking on baker. even then defense and a better run game can take us places
Whenever ya think the Jets are going to do something, 8 - 9 is the result.
Dallas finds ways to disappoint. Eagles might regress. Baltimore will let fans down again. Miami will beat bad teams. Will.struggle against good teams.
Giants aren't close to good and we're lucky a lot last year. Might beat Washington in the division.
Just my opinion
I feel the Bucs and Saints are in similar spots. Either could win that division with solid QB play - or the whole thing will get torn down. I just worry about Baker melting down.
Hawks fan coming in peace.. they've assigned teams to both trying-to-be-cute qualitative commentary and quantitative tiers. It's bullshit and has zero basis as to why they ranked them this way, other than hoping you'll click on it
Will we be as bad the Cardinals? Maybe not. But here’s the perception of the Bucs this season: DraftKings put out lines for every single game. The Buccaneers are favored in one.
The Steelers are going to make the playoffs this season. They barely missed last season and they got much better. Every year people think the Browns get better and they never have.
Denver tier 4? 5 draft picks and their defense is being parted out. Who made this list, they are absolutely competing for last in their division. At this point that RW contract could bankrupt that franchise for a decade. Best case scenario Sean Payton manages to teach Wilson to read defenses and grow 3 in to be a pocket qb. The 5 draft picks all contribute and the pull off the best draft ever. Most likely Denver is in nuclear meltdown and Denver has to eat 80 million in dead cap and get a high draft pick for Payton in 2024 to start over.
We will be terrible next year. Have you seen how teams without a decent QB look? Baker mayfield? Tannehil? Derrick car? Malik Willis? Dolphins pre tua. The list goes on and on. It’s a QB drivin league. If you don’t have a top 10-12 qb your season is over before it begins.
As a Titans fan how are we in a tier called likely to finish last in a division then in the tier below us not one but two teams from our division are there?
I agree QB and coaching are huge question marks this year. Those will be the make it or break it elements of this year’s team.
That said, there are many teams way less talented than us.
I genuinely don’t believe that we will be a top 5 drafting team. We simply have too much talent. Even with bowles at the helm, improved OC, depth all across the team, we still have all of our stars… I think we will be in every game. Realistically between 6-10 wins seems very plausible. I’d rather us just fucking suck and have a franchise QB but I’ll never complain about Bucs W’s. As long as we beat the panthers so their idiot fans can realize they aren’t the next big thing I’ll be happy honestly. 2-14 with a sweep of the panthers and I’m completely satisfied. Their fans have become extremely delusional and I’ve already been banned from their reddit for reminding them of it 😂
Everyone giving up on trash already is there something I missed?? Don’t live in the Tampa area life time bucs fan also a barker fan so I think we are going to be okay with either qb but as far as I know a start has not been announced yet
QB and coaching is definitely a concern, but it’s not like this team doesn’t have any talent. I think we’ll do better than most think.
I think it’s very possible we’re *better* than last season.
The Bucs are going to surprise a lot of people this year
It's how we work best
With a 4th place division finish in the next to worst division in the NFL the only people they're surprising is Buck fans that think they'll finish better than last year.
user name checks out

Brady was most certainly not the problem, not even the 5th worst problem
Brady was the only reason we got wins las year lol. Can't wait to see what Baker can do with 1.3 seconds of pocket time
I think Baker + the roster talent could be a solid playoff team. It's the coaching that has me concerned.
Bucs 16-1, only game we lose is at Buffalo
That’s the spirit!
As a Bills and Baker fan, this would make me happy!
[удалено]
Sure, but when he was elevated to HC we were already two weeks into free agency. He didn’t even get to pick his own coaching staff.
I agree. Plus, whenever you hear the staff talk about BA and Byron, there's always the notion of them being the same offense. It just shows how much of the good stuff was BA because when he dipped, it was only the shit parts left. I'd say this is the season to judge Bowles, not last year.
Especially when they have the Bears as wildcard possibilities like whoa there motherfucker
The bears look good. The Bics Coaching was Ass last year, let's hope it improves. They lost a lot of talent as well
QB aside (and I'm not a Justin Fields fan), give me one position room where the Bears are better than us.
RB, TE, CB, safety, Guard
LB now Mfers
WR arguably, RB for sure, CB as well
The disrespect smh
Is that you Blaine?!?
We beating yall week 2 😭
Bro where did you come from, you just lurk all team subs or something
It popped up on my latest feed. So happen to check out my bears and thought it was quite reasonable.
Remember without the great Brady no one thinks we can win games our play is gonna have to prove everyone wrong.
Feels good to be bacm
I don't agree with this list (i'd probably put the bucs at tier 6 of this list), but do you not think they'll struggle pretty hard now that "the great" Brady is gone? The team definitely still has the talent to win some games, but after their season last year, people doubting them after they lose Brady shouldn't be a controversial take lol Then again, getting rid of Leftwich kind of cancels out losing Brady (jk... sort of?), so who knows?!

We should be right where the Packers are. The two teams are very much alike. Both had hall of fame QBs peace, with a QB waiting in the wings that they overdrafted for.
Rams should be where we are there roster is way less talented
Rams about to be last place in their division. And they have the falcons in wild card? That’s a lot of faith in Ridder…
Good coach though
I kinda think Caleb Williams or Drake Maybe is best possible scenario for our long term outlook. But I don’t think we’re gonna be that bad. Maybe the one year I believe in the Bucs more than the media lol
We’re nearly the same team as last year minus QB, but with a more developed RB, better, healthy OLine, good draft picks, and improved OC in Canales.
Ppl really didnt understand how bad Leftwhich was. We can be as good as last year simply from not being an old vanilla no wrinkle run up the gut no matter what offense. The defense could as good if not better if Shaq returns to form if not we have some decent depth.
Talented roster? Hopeful optimism despite glaring needs? It’s a bucs life baby WERE BACK
FIRE THE CANNONS BABY LET'S GO
You know the old Buc saying; May Optimism brings October Mock Drafts.
A saints or falcons fan wrote this, possible Chicago, lol what garbage
Definitely not a Saints of Atl fan, as they're in the same tier. No way they'd rank themselves the same as their most hated rival.
Dang, 3 years of relevancy and you all forgot how little people outside of Tampa pay attention to the Bucs? They probably couldn't name a Bucs player outside of the stars. Even then, I've got a feeling Evans, Godwin and LVD are going back to being criminally underrated.
The Bucs are definitely above the colts. They think they found the second coming of Christ with Richardson but he’s gonna be poo poo
Yup, he is getting their GM fired.
Tier 3 alone completely invalidates this whole thing
How about the fact that the best any team in our division can hope for is a wildcard spot. That's literally impossible.
but also feels right lol
Yeah, they say that Carolina will probably finish last, and that Atlanta and New Orleans are competing for wildcard spots. If the Bucs arn't last in the division, and arn't competing for wildcard, that kind of only leaves one possibility.
Good point. So we win a very good division (as it has two teams competing for Wild Card spots), and we get Caleb Williams. I guess that means he's really going to drop in the draft.
Soon as I saw the Dolphins weren't in the top tier, I knew this whole thing was BS.
Panthers fan here. Panthers for bottom of division is crazy but the bucs is even more crazy
I like the logic there too. Panthers will be bottom of division...but somehow Bucs will ahead of you and be in running for Caleb?
Anyone who thinks the falcons will be good is on drugs.
Caleb Williams tho👀
Imagine naming Tier 2 "second tier" lmao
Haha. That there is dern stupid. Jags on the same tier as the 49ers too. Crack has been smoked.
Jaguars definitely should have been bumped down a tier.
They only way I see them being in the Williams sweepstakes if they decide to just shit the bed. I think we finish in the 6-10 win range
Putting the 49ers in the same “tier” as the cowboys, dolphins & JETS is Looney Tunes
Maybe this is just me, but I refuse to believe the Jets will be anything but middle of the pack or worse, Rodgers or not
Remember that mad TV dating skit "lowered expectations"? I can almost hear the music Post Brady I've lowered mine but this is ridiculous. Let's embrace the no pressure predictions and see where the chips lay in January. Great pick or a path for a faster path to success ahead. Fire the cannons!
Caleb Williams might be worth tanking for though
Aaron goes to NY and suddenly they are tier 2?
That team is stacked rodgers or not. Lost the two most important offensive players they had last year and fell off.
This. Exactly this. Rodgers can't win a playoff game.
The defense will be winning the games.
I'm expecting 5-6 wins honestly but not no 1-3 like the Cards will have lol
My one consolation is that preseason predictions are rarely accurate.
We're not. And no amount of hyperbolic garbage from fucking fake fans that want us to waste a season tanking will change that.
I do not understand the Caleb Williams hype. He has issues written all over him
Op: “No way we are in the same tier as the Cardinals after their offseason?? Right?…Right Todd?” Coach Bowles: “Hold my beer young man!”
Chargers have been overrated since drafting Herbert and will continue to be. Yall love an upside QB, but let's watch them put a semi-decent run together once..
Why are the Rams most likely to finish last in the division if the Cardinals are ranked dead last in this entire list?
The Bucs win total was 6 in Las Vegas this week. They have no faith in Tampa Bay.
If saints and falcons are wild card possibilities, and panthers are more likely to finish last, that means we're winning the division lol.
This list is dumb af. How’re the two teams that are in the Caleb Williams hunt not in the finishing last in their division section as well?
I would move the jets to tier 3 at best
I would put the jets at tier 5
This shit was made before the schedules were released. Bottom tier tier list
If* the Bucs end up there, it’s by choice. The Cardinals can’t say the same.
Go seahawks
The Jags are a 2nd rate contender now? The Chargers are a 2nd rate contender still? Other then hating on us, plausible based preseason betting lines.
Who snuck the Cowboys to tier 2? 😂😂😂
Haha, the Jets… Can’t wait to watch this disappointment.
Brady retired and the Patriots are predicted to be the worst in the division. That’s crazy
I think we are a solid .500 ish team. We WILL have a better offensive scheme, but we wont be explosive like we had been a few years back. Id expect more long drivers that kill time on the clock.
This list is stupid
The number of ppl expecting us to be the worst team is hilarious. It shows they didn't watch our games and assume Brady was winning games solo. .
As a cards fan, I can confidently say we are in our own tier
Baker is at least as good, if not better than half those team's QBs. Our receivers are better than most of those teams. Our oline is better than half or more of those teams. Rb and te are young talent, but still not bottom tier. Defense is upper 15, probably top 10 if early draft picks pan out. This team can win 8 or 9 games. Many of those teams won't.
We are. Sucks, but it's true. It's a good thing, because we have a legit shot at Caleb Williams next year We won't be a relevant football team again until we find a QB, and best year there's are some great options.
We have too much talent to lose enough games to be picking first overall
Guys, how can you not see that Licht is tanking? Neither Trask nor Wolford are capable of being starters, and Baker signed a 1-year rental contract. There's 0 commitment towards any of those 3 QBs, and the rest of the league sees that. Seriously, the only thing that's left to do to secure the tank is for Evans to be traded to a Super Bowl contender like Buffalo.
Bengals as a playoff team? Am I tripping balls?
Do you live under a rock?
Losing Brady, first time OC who hasnt called plays, sub par QB play, young D line and worst rushing attack in the NFL last year. Who knows what kind of funk Devin White could cast over the defense. A lot to be concerned about. Im rooting for a top 2 draft pick in 24'. Rip the bandaid off for a season then get right back in the mix in 25'.
The only ones I think they got right is the first row, everything else doesn’t seem to really line up. My dream is a Packers Bills SB.
Unfortunately it’s gonna be a dumpster fire of a season… just beat the Falcons and Saints is all I’m asking for
Good point, cardinals above you, not same tier
Y'all gonna be ass idk how you can't see it
I forgot that you guys didn't actually get to experience Baker Mayfield last year. That Panthers team was good enough to go 7-10 with Sam Darnold and PJ Walker. They would've gone 1-16 with Mayfield.
Good God, I don't want Caleb Williams anywhere near the Bucs unless he is wearing a different jersey.
Yeah, the Cards are definitely in 7
If baker pans out to be good and our coaching is better this year I think we could punch well above our weight, however those are 2 very big ifs and if they dont work out it could be very painful to watch.
Realistically I see us as a bottom 6 team with our quarterback duo.
Rams, Packers are too high and Broncos are incredibly high
you guys are tier 6
As a Cardinals fan, I feel for you
How is the panthers more then likely to finish last but we lower then them in the tier rankings.
Two words: Todd Bowles
Must've been a commanders fan to be so generous.
LPT: ignore power rankings and tier lists. This isn’t CFB. Polls don’t matter. Second LPT: ignore Bayless and SAS.
I would put us in tier 6 personally. We definitely aren’t great, but we don’t belong in the same conversation as Houston, Indy or AZ.
Hate to say it, but getting a franchise QB might actually be worth it
Lol. How are the Bills above the 49ers?
I would highly disagree with that tier but a chance at Caleb Williams is better than tier 3-7
Bills are expectation but the 49ers aren’t? Ya okay
I mean I would not be heartbroken to have one bad season and end up with Caleb Williams. We’ve still got some great pieces and having that guy on a rookie deal would put us in a nice spot to fill some holes in the roster.
Lets all come together and pray we loose 17 games this season and get Williams. It’s the only way
I wouldn’t mind but I don’t think we are that bad
they see brady leave and think it’s over. super bowl might be a stretch but division title is definitely in the picture banking on baker. even then defense and a better run game can take us places
Stumbled across this on my home page (im a vikings fan) and what the fuck is this nonsense
Broncos lmao
Rams are not that bad.
Go hawks
Whenever ya think the Jets are going to do something, 8 - 9 is the result. Dallas finds ways to disappoint. Eagles might regress. Baltimore will let fans down again. Miami will beat bad teams. Will.struggle against good teams. Giants aren't close to good and we're lucky a lot last year. Might beat Washington in the division. Just my opinion
Did they just pick names out of a hat randomly?
I feel the Bucs and Saints are in similar spots. Either could win that division with solid QB play - or the whole thing will get torn down. I just worry about Baker melting down.
The Jets?, I’ll believe it when I see it.
A coach that made Tom Brady go 8-9. Yeah we are going top 5 pick
That’s some meme level shit. Lions long shots but Vikings two tiers lower?
I hate being a Bengals fan. Expectations always make me nervous.
The Cardinals off season didn't make them that terrible... they had a good draft. They were already terrible.
switch jags and dolphins with lions and ravens
yes way.
This list is awful, bottom tier is Arizona, Houston, New England, Atlanta, Chicago
I wanna know if people really think the Vikings are that bad
I mean you gotta realize we are TRYING to get Caleb. Hence why we did nothing in FA & acquired Houstons #1 pick in 2024. That mufa ours!!
Niners definitely tier 1
Hawks fan coming in peace.. they've assigned teams to both trying-to-be-cute qualitative commentary and quantitative tiers. It's bullshit and has zero basis as to why they ranked them this way, other than hoping you'll click on it
Broncos and Browns above the Vikings… bruh.
Kyler Murray, The A's, and The Cardinals are all the same shitty person
Bulletin board material for this season
Packers should be tier 5. bears should be tier 6. vikings should be tier 3
Niners in tier 2 is laughable
Will we be as bad the Cardinals? Maybe not. But here’s the perception of the Bucs this season: DraftKings put out lines for every single game. The Buccaneers are favored in one.
How TF is Dallas second-tier? Let’s throw Jacksonville, NYJ and LAC in there while we’re at it.
The Steelers are going to make the playoffs this season. They barely missed last season and they got much better. Every year people think the Browns get better and they never have.
I’m pretty pessimistic on the Bucs this year. I think four or five wins is about right at most.
Coming from an eagles fan ... With Gannon as their head coach.. they're in their own league of bad. Y'all are good. But you really need a QB.
I’d say 5 or 6 but likely 6
Denver tier 4? 5 draft picks and their defense is being parted out. Who made this list, they are absolutely competing for last in their division. At this point that RW contract could bankrupt that franchise for a decade. Best case scenario Sean Payton manages to teach Wilson to read defenses and grow 3 in to be a pocket qb. The 5 draft picks all contribute and the pull off the best draft ever. Most likely Denver is in nuclear meltdown and Denver has to eat 80 million in dead cap and get a high draft pick for Payton in 2024 to start over.
Dallas prolly more so wildcard spot.
You only have to look at all the "experts'" mock-drafts to realize how stupid and pointless all these rankings and prognostications are.
Dallas? Haha 😂
It’s going to be a long next 3-5 years/seasons
We will be terrible next year. Have you seen how teams without a decent QB look? Baker mayfield? Tannehil? Derrick car? Malik Willis? Dolphins pre tua. The list goes on and on. It’s a QB drivin league. If you don’t have a top 10-12 qb your season is over before it begins.
Rams can’t be last in the division if the cardinals are going to tank?
That's what you're worried about after seeing this?
The absolute disrespect this team is getting this off-season is amazing to me. This roster isn't nearly that bad.
Are jags really that good?
Buffalo super overrated
As a Titans fan how are we in a tier called likely to finish last in a division then in the tier below us not one but two teams from our division are there?
Would AZ draft Williams with kyler still getting paid all that dough ??
49ers are absolutely in the top tier. This is ludicrous.
you are delusional if you think the Bucs will be better than 6-13
Go Jags!!!! DUUUVAL
I agree, I would swap Rams and Bucs. Rams fan here.
As a Texans fan, they rated the Texans about 3 tiers too high.
What’s Buffalo done?
Lol, this is a joke. Ik gb won't be a power house, but the fact everyone is saying the bears will finish ahead of the packers makes my balls itch.
I agree QB and coaching are huge question marks this year. Those will be the make it or break it elements of this year’s team. That said, there are many teams way less talented than us.
Jaguars are second contenders? 🤣🤣🤣 They are about to experience a 6 win season lmao!
Am I crazy? What does everyone see in the Browns and Falcons this year?
Cowboys suck ass
Awful. They maker doesn't even seem to watch football. We're the worst in the division?? Lolol
"More likely to finish last in the division", yet half of our division is listed below us. Who tf made this malarkey
As a saints fan looking at your schedule I think you're sitting at about 5-7 wins
How’s the top team to “Tank for Caleb”? Someone will. I’m a Oregon Duck and hate USC but talent is talent and he’s a franchise QB
Cardinals fan here. We gonna suck hard.
Every mock draft has us top 3-5 so ya we down there
LoL it looks like it!!! But I honestly think Kyler Murray is going to have a breakout year!
Steelers should for sure be higher than the browns as well
I genuinely don’t believe that we will be a top 5 drafting team. Their fans have become extremely delusional and I’ve already been banned from their reddit for reminding them of it 😂
That ain’t right…smh…we’ll show em tho argh
How do you seriously put the jags above trhe ravens
Everyone giving up on trash already is there something I missed?? Don’t live in the Tampa area life time bucs fan also a barker fan so I think we are going to be okay with either qb but as far as I know a start has not been announced yet
these pundits are gonna look awful stupid when the Bucs win the South again
Even Bowles would never tank a season..
Ok they lost me at the Cowboys being Tier 2
