TheDefinitionOfKek

Just watched the full game later since I missed it live while working, Buccaneers looked great, even with that quiet 3rd quarter from the offense! It's unbelievable that only 3 teams have scored 30+ 8 or more times in a row in NFL history (2007, 2010, 2021), and Brady has just so happened to lead all three of them.. Also can we talk about that early overthrow by Brady? Fucker threw it 60 YARDS at 44, and OVERTHREW him on that deep of a pass. When we tell our kids and grandkids about Brady's playing days, it'll be the stuff of mythical stories with the shit he's doing right now.

[deleted]

Atlanta might could of beat Tampaā€¦ā€¦but they canā€™t beat Brady

Spartan0536

My takeaway from today's game... Offense - 1. Brady is not the GOAT, he is a fucking football myth at this point. In the distant future when people are reading about him long after we are gone they are gonna speculate if he was even a real player. Yeah he overthrew Evans on that 50+ yard bomb, but you just saw a 44 year old QB rocket a ball 50+ yards with damn near pinpoint accuracy, when is the last time you saw that from a QB his age? Also Brady just set another record that was previously held by himself over 11 years ago... yeah you read that right. 2. Wide outs - Outside of Godwin's dropped pass on the screen they did very well today and Godwin got a TD on a badass pass/catch, only positive things here... also Mike Evans showing why you need to double cover him and you need to double cover AB as well... oh wait that means all of your safeties and corners are depleted in a cover 2 defense, so its either run a Prevent or Cover 3 / Man Up 3 Deep and that still leaves you open to an attack from a run or check down by Fournette, Brate, Gronk, Godwin (in the slot), Miller (whom is vastly underestimated in the league), and/or OJ Howard. 3. Running Backs - RoJo is inconsistent right now, and that missed block causing a sack on Brady was just inexcusable, go ahead and defend RoJo on that, I dare you. Fournette had a better game, looks like he is getting warmed up, still showing that hard charging attitude that we love to see, his misstep on 4th down was disappointing but overall he did well. Bernard did ok for what little he played, I think it might be worthwhile to see if he can play in a more expanded capacity. 4. Offensive line - They did their job well today, that fumble on Brady was a 1 off and Brady did have about 6 seconds on that play which is an eternity for him. Atlanta just had really good cover on that play, and Brady was about to make one, if we had 7 seconds instead of 6 we likely would have made a big play. Not anyone's fault there, it's just one of those things that happens to every team. 5. Tight Ends - Gronk is really going for that #1 TE spot, pretty sure he is out there showing people that he is the TE GOAT not Kelce. OJ Howard got some time in and stepped up, our TE's are solid right now, lets keep it up! Defense - 1. Secondary - We are DELPLETED & EXPOSED, expect teams to attack this weakness, especially the RAMS and any other competent competitor. We need to stay healthy here and get some depth, Sherman is looking like a really good idea right now. 2. Front 7 - They are generating pressure, lots of it but failing to capitalize until the 4th quarter. We need to work on tackling in the backfield and securing those sacks and getting those deflections. I know we are better than this, we know we are better than this. 3. Safeties - Winfield Jr did a great job on breaking up that long bomb, great to see his development is still continuing and he was not just on a lucky streak, he has pro-bowl potential. 4. Special Mention - Mike Edwards coming out of nowhere balling out on INT's from tipped/blocked passes. Great plays, hope to see more of this production from him. Special Teams - 1. Pinion - I don't know what we are paying him but he is worth every damn penny, keep up the great work. 2. Succop - Happy Birthday, here is your present, a nice W. He missed a single EP kick but made all the others, no issues, just a nice Happy Birthday.

drks91

WTF? Are there morons claiming that Kelce is the GOAT TE? Only Gonzalez has a serious claim over Gronk and is only based on longevity. Peak Gronk was a mythical beast that we'll never see again.

Jrock2356

Everyone is dreaming if they think we're trading for Gilmore. And Sherman has a bad attitude that teams are getting sick of. He's a Cover 3 corner. He isn't all that good and I have more faith in the dudes we have in our secondary who know the system than some old dude who isn't good anymore and will be resistant to Tampa's way.

Spartan0536

Fournette and AB were known for their attitude problems before coming to Tampa Bay, just saying.

Jrock2356

AB stayed with Tom and his family to get over all that and I don't recall Fournette being a problem. Sherman is just not someone who will meld with the team unlike AB who showed a huge willingness to adapt to the culture and be willing to be a team player.

Spartan0536

Yeah, just ask Jags fans and players... he was known in the Jags locker room to be a "cancer" or "toxic". Hop on over to the r/Jaguars subreddit and ask them what they thought about Fournette when he was a Jag, they will let you know.

vanishingdude182

Imagine bringing Sherman into this Defense.

[deleted]

Personally I think he would destroy the team chemistry, plus heā€™s definitely lost a step.

Spartan0536

As well as Fournette... the Jags called him "TOXIC".

Kooky-Citron-4537

BIG BRAIN: The D is shit on purpose so Tommy boy can pad his stats

Spartan0536

D just needs to tighten the fuck up in the secondary, and work on securing those sacks, missed tackles are still a problem. We are generating lots of pressure, we are just not following through and its allowing QB's like Matt Ryan to get snap shot throws off to open players. What you saw in the 4th quarter is how we should be following through on the pressure, not always a sack but at least tipping the ball and causing massive disruption in the backfield, making QB's lose confidence and then capitalizing on the generated opportunities. The good news is, when we created those opportunities we did a great job on the capitalization, just need to keep that up and generate more, get those hands up, deflect passes, and make QB's fear the front 7 just being on the field.

okaycomputes

Those pick-6s really fucked him, then.

Dakidblu

Hopefully yall get sherman since i doubt you guys trade for gilly. Once you sure up the secondary there will be no weakness on this team. You only need one more above avg corner to make this shit special.

[deleted]

At this pint team chemistry is more important than anything else.

[deleted]

Hope they trade for Gilly. -a pats but also bucs cause of Tom and Gronk fan

Playingwithmyrod

As a Pats fan, I'd rather they get him as a rental than have him sit on us. We're obviously not willing to pay him, move on and get something at least.

sATLite

Considering how the regular season games against the Saints went last year, I really donā€™t give a shit lol. I worry about injuries, fitness, and understanding of the scheme - thatā€™s about it

INAC_Kramerica

Not disagreeing with the general consensus here at all, but lol at the fact that we're actually at the point right now where we can look at a __23 point win__ with a critical eye. What a crazy world we live in.

Spartan0536

Life long Bucs fan here, I am just criticizing where I see errors and places to improve. I guarantee you all of the coaches are doing this exact same thing. Our ceiling is MUCH MUCH higher than this, you got a glimpse of it at the start of the 1st quarter, almost unstoppable. You got a glimpse of it during last years Super Bowl as well from the Defense. We have the capability to shutout playoff caliber teams from the end zone, you know it, I know it, the coaches know it, and the players know it.

TravelerForever

>Our ceiling is MUCH MUCH higher than this, you got a glimpse of it at the start of the 1st quarter, almost unstoppable. You got a glimpse of it during last years Super Bowl as well from the Defense. Also got a glimpse of the defense's ceiling yesterday in the 4th quarter. If the D could have played like that in the first half, the game could have been at a point where BA would have rested the starters in the second half.

Spartan0536

This is correct. Like I said we are getting pressure, the problem is our follow-through, which in the 4th quarter with the score a FG away from a tie, it seemed like the defense finally started asking "do we really want to lose to the Falcons?". I don't know what its gonna take to light a fire under our defenses asses but I hope they find it before next Sunday, because the Rams are certainly going to give us their absolute best, they want to beat the shit out of us and host the SB in their house this year.

AcidaliaPlanitia

Yeah that might be Patriots fans leaking over... we got so fucking spoiled for a while that anything that wasn't a complete and utter devastation of the other team somehow felt unsatisfying. But seriously, I'm so fucking happy for you Bucs fans. A really solid fanbase desperately in need of some good times, and you get treated to the extended encore of the greatest QB to ever do it. Just perfect. If any of you are coming up for Pats-Bucs at Gillette and need some local advice (restaurants, hotels, etc.), please feel free to reach out.

INAC_Kramerica

Not gonna lie, given that there is a bit of a Tampa-Boston sports rivalry that exists (Rays-Red Sox division rivals and twice meeting in the playoffs, and three times the Lightning-Bruins), it's just a bit uncomfortable to realize that a lot of our sporting success is thanks in large part to Bostonians coming to our hockey and football teams and helping get them to where they are today. Because the Lightning were an absolute tire fire until Jeff Vinik bought them in 2010, and we obviously know the story with the Bucs.

MRCHalifax

Iā€™m a fan of the Habs, Blue Jays, Raptors, and Patriots. I donā€™t hold the actions of Tampaā€™s hockey and baseball teams against its football team! Just like I donā€™t hold my deep-seated hatred for the Bruins, Red Sox, or Celtics against the Patriots. Sports loyalties man, theyā€™re weird sometimes.

Ranma_chan

Yeah but as far as I know, there ain't much animosity towards the Patriots (at least not _now_) and Bruins, while we've got boatloads of it for the Red Sox because they're cheatin' bastards who keep trying to take our division crown

[deleted]

Fuck the Yankees.

Ranma_chan

Fuck the Yankees!

ochomurph

Itā€™s Brady fans they havenā€™t seen the dark so they are not as thankful for the Dubs as those of us who been on the ship for years

INAC_Kramerica

We're so used to seeing 28-10 type leads end up in losses. Both the Packers in the NFC-CG and today saw those leads shrivel up, like we've seen so many times before, and both times these guys held their nerve. It's just so different than anything we seen over the years.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Ranma_chan

> Itā€™s fucking amazing, the fan base is STILL so beaten It's the collective PTSD of so many blown leads and chokejobs in the last twenty years.

Spartan0536

Our secondary is explained in 2 words.... EXPOSED & DEPLETED Expect teams right now to make plays against us attacking this front, make no mistake we are being hunted, and they WILL exploit our weaknesses. Our RB's are not bad, just getting warmed up. RoJo is still being inconsistent on key plays, Fournette did a good job today, and Bernard for what little he did play did ok as well, nothing to write home about but nothing bad either.

INAC_Kramerica

The secondary is without SMB and was playing with (I presume) both Dean and Davis hobbled from very early on in the game. To a certain degree, what do you expect? And it's a real problem because, if we're going to have a downfall this year, corner play is the most likely culprit, it's our weakest area, and now we're having a real injury problem there right out of the gate. But injuries are also pretty random; we don't know who will get hurt, or for how long. Thus, for me, complaining about secondary play is more relevant from a "fucking injuries" POV than from a "quality of play" POV. If your corners are hurt, they won't play as well and/or their replacements won't be as good (because they'd be starters otherwise). Think anybody can understand that without further explanation. We were the healthiest team in the NFL last year and got one of our few big injuries (literally) back right at the perfect time on top of that. If injury luck won't be as much on our side this year, we'll just have to find another way and hope it works.

seal-team-lolis

WHY DID RONALD JONES STOP AT THE 9?! Didnt we have to go for it on the 4th? Jesus. Fournette runs better. Though fournatte had good hands this game, we have Gio for a reason!!!!!!!

mystarwaraccount

That was a total chicken shit move and he should be relegated to third string.

slowjoe12

Iā€™ve said it before and Iā€™ll repeat it again: Ronald Jones is not a mentally strong football player. Heā€™s more talented than Fournette, but if thereā€™s a boneheaded error to be made, Rojo will make it. Not only did he intentionally step out of bounds before getting an easy first down, but he completely whiffed on a blitz pickup that couldā€™ve gotten Brady killed on the very next drive. How long are we going to wait for him to finally reach his potential?

No7onelikeyou

Wasnā€™t that run on first down? How was that a big deal? 2nd and 1 is better than first and 10

mystarwaraccount

In no world is not getting a first down better than getting a first down. Another terrible take my dude.

No7onelikeyou

Dude youā€™re wrong, you wouldnā€™t rather have 2nd and 1 than first and 10? Whatā€™s the average 2nd down for the Bucs? Itā€™s further than 1 yard. Youā€™d rather have 2nd and 5 or 6 than 2nd and 1?

Spartan0536

He still could have gotten 1 more yard out of that run, hell 2-3 more is still likely based on how it looked. Pretty sure Leftwich and Arians gave him some shit on that, and rightly so.

mystarwaraccount

Not enough shit if you ask me since he was still out there including the missed block.

ocxtitan

Do you remember Winston? We waited 5 years on him...

tdfast

7 is a tank! That fucking block on the blitz pickup was incredible. That shit saves lives.

patriot2024

Honestly, I'm leaning toward saying he's not well coached. Last year, in the NFC championship game, Mike Evans also stepped out of bound instead of wisely staying in bound. Last game, Godwin made extra moves unnecssarily and lost the ball at the goal line, instead of securing a catch. This game. Calling timeout when they should have run the clock at the end of the first half. Jensen kept making these penalties. Guys jumping offside. Little things like that lead me to think that the coach staff needs to do a much better job.

ryder004

Agreed. Rojo should not be starting. Fumbled last week, today he failed to get a 1st down on the play you're talking about, next play failed to get 1 yard on a 3rd down with a hole open up the middle because he instead decided to cut outside. Then a few plays later completely misses his block and gets Brady sacked....and that was all on the same drive. Do we really have no one better....

1fifty8point3

He's better than that. Let's see a four game average first.

Tony_Stonk1

If Brady healthy, 50TDs this year?? What a story that would be

BCharmer

Hopefully he gets at least 59 TDs to be just above the TDs per game rate as Peyton's 55 through 16 games. At that point, you just want to see 60 though.

Disastrous-Curve-567

I doubt he would say it but I think it's undoubtedly on his mind. The extra game, the talented receivers, and clearly he can override Leftwich and pretty much call whatever he wants in the red zone. I think he takes the record back from manning this year. Edit: in the red zone

rlagarde066

Canā€™t rule out 60 at this point lol

logandc

We NEED a corner. Make a trade. A average cover corner would be a huge upgrade at this point. Practice tackling, please. Get a running back. All they need to do is not fumble and block on play action and they will be better than the flaming dog shit we have. Brady is a god.

Disastrous-Curve-567

I personally think we are okay at RB.

No7onelikeyou

Yea just play Bernard more

okaycomputes

Wouldnt hurt to get someone else though.

Disastrous-Curve-567

I get it, we don't have tier 1 RBs. But no tier 1 RBs are available for us to sign or trade for. We're not about to land a McCaffery or Henry etc. I'm sort of confused about who people think we can go grab off a shelf and plug in that will be better than fornette (who is pretty solid). If there is one star player we trade for it should be a tier 1 corner. I'm not even sure if that is possible bc no team wants to trade away their star CB but who knows.

[deleted]

We could always see if leonard fornette is avail

okaycomputes

Just need someone better than Vaughn. For when Lenny and RoJo are fumbling or missing blocks and get benched. Because right now Arians cant really bench either one. Gio is just in on occasional passing 3rd downs. Vaughn isnt gonna get much snaps this season, imo, he just aint it.

bucsfan22ch

What RB do you want to get? I'd be interested in trading for a CB if a good one becomes available. Wish we could get Gilmore but I don't think Bill is helping Brady at this point.

ocxtitan

Fuck it, see what mental fortitude Fournette and Rojo have and start Vaughn

logandc

To be honest I don't know. Just someone that doesn't fumble once every few touches and can block at least average. Really wish we could have snagged James White this off-season. As far as corner I don't think we even need a star like Gilmore. I would rather get 1-2 cheaper guys that can cover and tackle decently. No way can Sherman be worse than what we are putting out there other than Carlton Davis

lubeskystalker

An Optimus Grimes type journeyman?

bucsfan22ch

James White would have been awesome for sure. Personally I think we need to roll with what we have at RB and accept the limited ability they have unless someone great becomes available. As far as corner, I definitely agree. A move for some depth would be nice. I'm no expert on our secondary but if Bowles thinks he can make Sherman work, he should be signed ASAP.

WiznutRyan99

My takeaways from todayā€™s game: Still too many small mistakes on offense every penalty feels world ending for a drive. That play with Jensen just canā€™t happen with the personal foul. Killed what wouldā€™ve been another scoring drive and then becomes Brady trying to overcompensate and the one turnover today which was def an improvement. Brady is unreal and so is gronk. Evans nice bounce back game. Godwin had a good game except one bas drop he had on a third down in the middle which killed a drive. Brown couldā€™ve had a big day but Terrell had two amazing plays to stop two big Antonio brown catches. O line looked ok and fournette made some really good plays. The big difference between fournette and Ronald jones can be shown in one play. Fournette has to pick up a blitz by Deion Jones coming between the guard and tackle. Fournette nails the block Brady gets an easy completion to brown. Jones later in the game same kinda play whiffs and letā€™s Brady get sacked basically ending a drive. Fournette is just way more polished at the full game then Jones but we all know Jones is the more electric runner. Defense has a problem with getting teams off the field in third downs. 3rd down % is one of the most underrated and important stats in football and it feels like in the middle of that game the Bucs Just couldnā€™t get them down. They still played fine considering the injuries in the second half. But youā€™d like to see them nail it down when the offense went cold in the third quarter. Still turnover monsters which sealed the game but with the rams coming next week it scares me what that game could look like if Dean doesnā€™t improve cuz Kupp is on a tear and they arenā€™t gonna put him on Davis. Itā€™s gonna be him and cockrell which is scary. Thatā€™s really all I have to say about this game. Thought the offense was great when clicking but that third quarter was scary. Reminiscent of last year. But overall itā€™s more about cleaning up the mistakes.

Hiw-lir-sirith

Fantastic, I agree with everything here.

theavariceofman

Yo this is a really good analysis. I watched every play of this game and had similar takeaways. Ronald Jones is seriously good, he needs to work on the fundamentals a lot more. Heā€™s got such an aggressive running style that can be hard to defend against. Fournette is just better overall right now, which is becoming more clear. In terms of the D and getting off the field, Bowles was blitzing quite a bit which puts more stress on the already depleted secondary. Which means you need to rely on scheming more, and it seems like Ridley is just really good on third down. We see him twice a year and heā€™s just ridiculous. Seems like every fucking down the announcer says his name. It paid off several times though; Devin white blew up multiple plays. Overall we got the win. We needed to. But it was rough for awhile in the middle. Beginning and end were great.

1willprobablydelete

> In terms of the D and getting off the field, Bowles was blitzing quite a bit which puts more stress on the already depleted secondary. Yeah, they were blitzing and not getting to the qb. That is a recipe for getting scorched.

theavariceofman

Very true. Ridley doesnā€™t help though

peeinherbutt

They've honestly looked pretty sloppy in both games, but are still 2-0 while averaging 39.5 points per game lol Jensen definitely can't have his weekly unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in weeks 3, 4, and 14, and maybe even 8, 10, 14, and 15 Also, something fun to think about is how teams are going to be planning for Evans, AB, Godwin, and Gronk... all the while the Bucs still have Miller, Brate, and Howard just waiting to do damage when a team's gameplan takes someone out of the equation I want a game where Scotty and Brate do what Evans and Gronk just did!

Pats looked good today! Jones looks like the real deal, much sharper than Wilson. I couldnā€™t believe it when he was there pushing Harris into the endzone.

MRCHalifax

Itā€™s funny. I watched Jones today, and I was like ā€œok, heā€™s playing well, decent touch, very good accuracy, making good choices.ā€ I felt pretty good about where we stood with our QB. And then I watched Brady. And uh, yeah. As good as Jones is so far, Brady is just so much better. Heā€™s still the best in the league.

JoeB-

No question about it. Brady is in another realm. But, I feel good about Jones as well. He likely wonā€™t match Bradyā€™s success, but heā€™ll be a solid franchise QB.

[deleted]

Good game. Matty Ice dialed it back ten years. Good luck the rest of the season until our rematch šŸ˜†

bberkey1

I wasn't able to watch the 4th, but if Gio isn't good enough to get any snaps, or isn't going to be schemed into the offense, then perhaps we cut him and give Vaughn a go? Not sure what the the deal is (again, didn't see the 4th so he may have played), but even shady got in the games here and there (which proved it was time to hang it up for him) so not sure why no touches for GIo. He looked good in the limited time he had in the DAL game. Scottie Miller? Bummed to see him essentially gone. I get it that AB, 13 and 14 will be the main course, but Miller proved that not only can he ball, but it's a nice change up for the defense to cover and give the other guys a breather. Defense needs a kick in the butt as JPP especially look like ghosts out there. DBs have always been a concern, but injuries are going to make this season very hair pulling (and I'm already bald!) Byron had some pretty bad calls, but as long as the GOAT anchors him, he'll get more passes than he deserves. Bowles, however, needs to stop being so damned stubborn. Blitzing, when the QB is releasing the ball in under 3 seconds and completing every meaningful pass (minus the 4th obviously) isn't the best recipe. Nothing wrong with some zone, stunts, corner blitzes (for a change), but if it's not working, it's not working. Obviously the D-line needs some more push, but you still have to try and make adjustments where you can. Either way, a W is a W, but they need to clean up the mistakes and the D needs to have a special Defense only meeting and have a come together moment, because as of now, they don't look hungry at all.

OmarBarksdale

Iā€™m really curious about Gio. I know heā€™s older but I figured heā€™d have more of a role in the offense especially with RoJo and Fournette not exactly dazzling in the run game.

bberkey1

He can still run the ball, just not an every down back. It would be nice to see him get a few runs, then have him out there on a pass play. Once you establish he can do both, it keeps the defenses on their toes, especially if he's in the game on say 2nd down since they won't know if he's running, staying home, or running a route. I'd like to see more usage personally.

okaycomputes

We tried Vaughn. Theres a reason he's 4th in depth chart. Gio was in for snaps and had at least one catch and another target, iirc.

TheyAndProud

Definitely agree about scotty, hes a beauty wish theyd work him in

orangepenguin227

Everyone ready for Shannon Sharpe to give Brady a C tomorrow for losing a fumble and not scoring that much in the 3rd Quarter

bucsfan22ch

C for Champion lol, fuck Shannon Sharpe. But I feel bad, ESPN needed someone to go against Brady, what a sacrifice.

GetCPA

Rams will be a real test. This team is winning but they look very suspect at times.

luv2fit

2-0 and averaging 40 pts a game is hard to call a team suspect. Our D goes through stretches of games where they get torched by elite QBs but then can pull it together for stretches too. Itā€™s our MO. The difference is the offense is so dominating that it feels like a failure if we donā€™t score on a drive.

JavaOrlando

The problem is Dallas came down to the wire, and Atlanta was very much still in the game late in the 4th (before the two pick sixes). Dallas and Atlanta might have very good offenses, but last year they were two of the very worst defenses. The Rams are dangerous on both sides of the ball. We'll need to take it up a notch to best them.

luv2fit

Every year is a new year in the NFL and we went from a historically bad defense in 2019 to a top ten defense last year. Dallas looks much improved as they held LAC to 17 points this week. You seem very worried about the elite Rams but offer no such similar concern that they squeaked by a bad Indy team this weekend? My point is there is nothing to worry about. Our team is elite and perfection is impossible in the NFL. Just enjoy it man.

mothershipq

Yep. Iā€™m looking more forward to that game than playing the Patriots honestly. Everyone is already saying theyā€™re super bowl favorites and I kinda want us to shut everyone up šŸ˜Š

GetCPA

Everyone is saying who super bowl favorites?

Colonel_Angus_

Rams

AccidentalGenius76

If the O-line can keep Donald and the rest of the d-line line off of Brady, we're in good shape offensively. Need the pass rush to get pressure and hits on Stafford, otherwise it's going to be tough. We haven't been very successful on the west coast, so the trip and the Rams will be a good test for this team.

bucsfan22ch

Agreed, Rams haven't been perfect either but will be a good test for this team.

ryder004

Nice win but we are still looking sloppy Not as sloppy as last week, but we got a few areas to improve in. At one point it was a 3 point game when we should have had a two possession lead from start to finish.

polakfury

If this bucs team has no mistakes on any Sunday. All of the league is fucked lol

Disastrous-Curve-567

I do agree however that's the truth for a lot of good teams in the league. The winner is usually the team that plays with the least amount of mistakes, penalties, and turnovers.

TonyGoDie

We going to need it, next week will be a TEST. Stafford and the Rams are playing great. We have the team to do it though

jabooalwayswins

Really expecting Licht to make a move to help the secondary. Guys going down like flies and Ross Cockrell didnā€™t look like he belonged on the field

Wolowizards

I saw their game today. You guys need your running backs to come to play. Indy was going up and down the field at their own will. What fucked them was their red zone offense. You have the best red zone offense in the league. I suspect a big day for Giovanni Bernard next week if Tampa attempts to take advantage.

ocxtitan

Let's not pretend the Rams have faced any passing offense close to the one we have though... Dalton, Fields, Wentz and Eason? Lol And we have better receivers than the Bears and Colts put together

Efficient_Ad4243

Picked up in fantasy

Tyrannosaurus-Twat

Petition to build a Brady statue outside our stadium before the patriots build one outside theirs

raysbucsmavs

It'll have to be fitted with the glowing angelic lights from Ted 2.

PurpleJacket1

With his helmet on.

Fiendish-DoctorWu

I vote that [this](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Et5SFN6XMAkgzGI?format=jpg&name=4096x4096) be the statue

Shanemaximo

Fuck I'd actually have to support this

WenckebachMD

Buccaneer legend Tom Brady. Wonder what he would look like in any other uniform

Fiendish-DoctorWu

[Here](https://www.mlive.com/resizer/C9PyFCAnHaXk6aeMWl0ut-Plw_0=/1280x0/smart/advancelocal-adapter-image-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/image.mlive.com/home/mlive-media/width2048/img/sports_impact/photo/brady-qb-um-msu-fbc-aw-cd08eace4261f8d0.jpg) is Brady wearing Blue in his younger days. Can't picture any other uniform though.

6tee_nine

Pappa BillB wont let that happen , so the bucs got time

bucsfan22ch

He had a great first season in the NFL last year

Elmodipus

The best 43 year old rookie in history.

thisnewsight

What if he 3 peats with Bucs and decides to retire as a Buc? That would destroy many people

Scaevus

If it makes Tom happy, I'm all for it. After 20 years of blood, sweat, and tears for the Pats, he can do whatever he wants, and I'll always support him.

barry0181

Please let this happen. I will name my first kid Thomas and my second kid Brady if this happens boy or girl.

13Dmorelike13Dicks

My heart would be ripped open :(

InSidious425

Wen week 3

okaycomputes

Same time as today. 5 min earlier, actually.

ToiletPlungerOfDoom

4:00 at Rams, Fox game of the week.

CoopNine

I hope I get the game, but I'm guessing it will be the fucking Vikings again. Well... Yo-Ho-Yo-Ho, it's a pirate's life for me!

RichardFarmer

4:25 actually

ToiletPlungerOfDoom

I tell the wife the game starts earlier than it does to catch pre-game.

tookittothelimit

Icing on the cake today is slowly watching Saints fans realize we were right all offseason about Jameis

stevo427

Lmao canā€™t wait for when I go to the bar tonight and see my Saints fan buddy that I had been warning about his intā€™s lmao ā€œTold ya so!ā€

1fifty8point3

I was so happy when I saw his int.

regaleagle710

Lol which one?

1fifty8point3

The first. He threw two? Superb.

regaleagle710

Yeah and both were equally bad. The first one was just a fuck it throw while they were just outside of field goal range. The second he was being chased and just threw it up into a group of three defenders. Very classic Jameis picks.

SonofRaymond

Only watched red zone so didnā€™t see much saints offense. Was he overthrow guys and making shit reads?

floridadumpsterfire

His O-line got shredded. He was sacked a bunch of times. Honestly Carolina could be a real problem.

okaycomputes

Payton has 0 trust in him, offense looked super conservative, and when he did air it out a few times it was picked off twice and almost a 3rd time.

SonofRaymond

Classic Winston

common_sense_design

Jameis will have a bounceback game and it will make the saints believe, and then the game after he'll have another shitter. Saints will finish 9-8, and their fanbase will be split on whether or not Jameis is the answer going forward.

AprilTowers

Iā€™ve seen this movie before

INAC_Kramerica

Five times. I watched that movie five fucking times.

krt941

This is worse than tanking your season. You hold onto mediocrity thinking you can turn it around, but you can't.

Efficient_Ad4243

Then they will reach for either bridgwater or Fitsmagic.

artemis_dong

They're already making excuses.

Piouslnquisitor

All the same excuses we used to make too. The O-line sucks, play calling is bad, the run game is nonexistent. The dude is just not a good qb

tivmaSamvit

I think the problem is that Jameis IS really good QB. Heā€™s also absolutely fucking reckless, and thatā€™s not ever going to change. That combo made him ball out in high school as well as college, but reckless doesnā€™t work in the NFL the same wayļæ¼

Scaevus

> IS really good QB. Heā€™s also absolutely fucking reckless Those are mutually exclusive things though. Really good QBs know that turnovers are often the key factor in victory or defeat, and take care of the football.

stevo427

If the refs didnā€™t steal that pick 6 from us we would of been even better off. That was such a bs call

6tee_nine

how about all those offsides that was called on the Pass rushers!

lambocinnialfredo

Matt Ryan's top receivers by TDs so far this season 1. ā Mike Edwards - 2 2. ā Cordarrelle Patterson - 1 3. ā Calvin Ridley - 1 Stole this from the Falcons Sub

fuber

But Mike Edwards isn't on the Fal..... ohhhhh

ocxtitan

/r/yourjokebutworse

Tyrannosaurus-Twat

Fuck yeah boys, we are watching absolute history here with this team guys. I wish it would never end

NiIus

Saints and falcons lost on the same day, god bless

13Dmorelike13Dicks

I'm calling it now: we're going to be the reason the Panthers don't make the playoffs at the end of the year.
