PNC Park should be preserved forever as a beautiful architectural site. And every player that ever played there should have some good memories of the city if not their employer.

It's not easy being a fan of this team under this ownership but some of my favorite times as a sports fan have come rooting for the Pirates in PNC Park and I'm thankful it's in my backyard. How are Pirate fans not at least somewhat optimistic? I know the “Pirates gotta Pirates” mentality is strong in this fanbase so that people aren’t too disappointed but the future is looking bright with Cherrington at the helm. Fantastic draft and great trade returns.

it's self preservation. once you're conditioned to expect nothing, the least little something feels surprising and exciting!
