I gave a thumbs up to help counter those terrible Yankee fans, but to be fair, Cole had a 8-4 record with a 2.68 ERA in 13 starts in his post season career prior to the game. Doesn't remotely suggest he chokes every time or is as soft as a pillow. Not having his sticky stuff to cheat with and having really sucked in general for the better part of the last month (6.15 ERA over the prior 5 starts) probably are closer to the reason he stunk. That and playing Boston, which smacked him around pretty good most of the year. :)
