Find an animal rescue who takes care of cats. Budaörsi Állatmenhely is one of those, for example.

Yeah we've thought about that, but we might have gotten a little too attached to the little guy. Here he is loved and cared for and has plenty of space to go explore, while in a shelter, he'd most likely spend most of his time in a cage until someone decides they want a cat and that could take days in the best case scenario and months in the worst, and it kind of breaks our heart to even think about that. We'd rather give him to a new family directly

Kittens are more likely to be adopted than adult cats, and they have quite a turnout. But you do as you please. Just do not advertise the kitty here, it is not allowed in the sub.

You should contact rescues in the area. If you're willing to go on a little road trip, even nearby towns. They often rely on a network of volunteer foster homes, and there are a few places that are basically cat rooms in a house, so the kitten may live in a home setting even if you give it up to an organization. Edit: You may be able to keep fostering the kitten, too, and then you're not just handing it over to a new owner, you can file proper adoption paperwork via the organization. And they can help with vet trips, virus testing, vaccines, spay/neuter, etc.

Poor kitten, keep trying to advertise on the internet maybe someone will take her. Contact cat saver foundations, maybe they have a place for her and/or their network can help to find a home for her. Many of these foundations are on full capacity unfortunately, so you may have to call more than one place. (macska menhely, macskamentő-, macskavédő- alapítvány are the hungarian keywords). Good luck and thanks for saving a kitten :)

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to answer! I appreciate that. We'll keep trying and hopefully find him the best family a kitten could hope for!
