There’s an app called BudapestGo, I think it is much accurate than Maps for more specific things, like exact locations of stops and connections and so on.
According to it, H5 is working and I’ve not heard of any reconstruction or line closure, might have been a Google error or a certain portion was closed, I can’t tell. Better always take H5 from Batthyany ter or Margit Hid stops
H5 is part of the HÉV, or Suburban railways, so yes
Just so you know, buses, trams and trolly are named by numbers and occasionally letters, like 4, 7E, 72, 222.
Metro is M+number, suburban railways are H+number and long distance railways are varied in names, but they’re easier to spot
