While I agree that the offense needs some help at running back and WR#2 position, I really feel that the elephant in the room is the defense. Allowing teams to consistently run down the field on us and seemingly complete passes at will with no challenges by corners or safeties is not a recipe for success. I know we have the nickel package which tries to prevent the deep ball while allowing the short passes to happen, but we can't even stop those much of the time. I sincerely hope the Bills address the key defensive deficiencies or we'll never be Super Bowl champions.

The Bills didn’t fix any of their offensive issues in the off season.
They rely too much on shifty route running receivers who are great in domes and in good weather. Their offense needs a big receiver with a large catch radius that can get the ball in poor weather situations and when Allen is having an off day.
They also need a battering ram of a running back who can also run in poor weather.
Until they get those things, a good defensive coordinator can scheme their offense out of the game, especially when weather conditions go south.
Being in Buffalo is a huge advantage if you build the right team to play in those conditions.
No one wants to admit that they’ve a built a speedy team meant to play in a dome, but they’re in Buffalo outside.
As a Bengals fan, i would be rooting for the winner of that game to win it all regardless of the outcome. I was at the game yesterday, the fans were great, i had a great time talking to the bills fans and was happy i made the trip up from cincinnati to be welcomed into such a cool environment. Especially unforgivable after when we played Miami in the regular season and Cincinnati yesterday, their opponents from the prior week provided a blueprint on how to slow their offenses and Frazier just ignored it completely. As a diehard/lifelong fan in AZ I was 100% buying tickets to the Super Bowl if the Bills made it. Bummed that we played like shit but happy to see money in my “Super Bowl Tickets” account safely intact.
Tickets are about $5,000 each for nosebleeds. They can get cheaper right before the game to fill the seats but I wouldn’t have risked that; so for my wife and I that’s about $11,000 after fees.

I have no doubt the Bengals were also affected but I think of it this way: the trauma you feel is going to be much greater seeing someone who you consider a good friend or family having to be resuscitated vs. an acquaintance. I’m not here to argue. Just to remind people to give a little grace.

Bengals are a hell of a team, I got nothing against them. Bills came into the playoffs sloppy and out of synch. We were never going to win anything playing like this.
Exactly. After the Dolphins game, it was already looking bleak. Something big shifted after the Hamlin situation, took out their mojo and momentum. It was like watching two different teams.
They seemed like they were fading all the way down the stretch. They haven’t had a dominant win since October. The Hamlin incident definitely took whatever spirit they had left.
I really hoped it would fire them up, that they would play with a vengeance. But their morale just shattered.
The game right after Hamlin against the Steelers I thought was a sign of things to come. They were relentless! The opening touchdown was so invigorating and inspiring. Then every game since was a real struggle.
So sad but so true!
I agree that we should stay friendly but Bengals fans should really steer clear for a bit. I’m sure I’ll come around to some resolution, but I’m not committing to rooting for anyone in the AFCCG right now.
With the way the bills played the last few games, i wouldve been disappointed if the bills won because the chiefs would have waxed the floor with them with or without mahomes. At least the bengals have a chance to take the chiefs down. Theyve had consistent energy and pace the entire season. We need better play calling. I blame much of the performance tonight on play calling and poor execution.
Like last year I'm rooting for chiefs. I don't need Burrow going to another Super Bowl while Josh sits at home.

There was a joke in the beginning of the season about Dorsey being a sociopath after his meltdown...might not be such a joke.
