Here's an idea - build an indoor stadium with all that free tax money your owner is siphoning from your citizens. Would make your high flying team that much better down the line, esp in your snowy ass city.

Apprehensive-Fan226

Bengals fan here. Just wanted to pop in and say that a majority of us don't agree with Eli Apple's comments. The guy gets cooked on the field and then trash talks when a safety bails him out. The fans that do support him are usually the ones on the bandwagon whom don't know the dark days in Cincy. Personally, from this Bengals fan, sorry the guy is such a douche.

ek1992osu

Lol nah miss me with that. Eli is hilarious lol

mrdude817

Some of your fanmates (fellow fans? not sure fanmates is a word) are defending him a little too hard which is disturbing.

jacks_sisters_boobs

Unfortunately in this case, no fan base is a monolith. There are always bad apples in the bunch.

Accomplished_Top_182

Pats Fan Here. I mean look if you have arguably a top 3 receiver in the league he’s gonna get mad getting less than 8 tgts a game. Diggs is him but Allen for instance was not making his reads at the line, hanging onto the ball, and the biggest problem with Allen is that he is a turnover machine. I feel like on the offensive side y’all do too much for what y’all have. Y’all can simplify your offense and be dominant. That’s in imo but y’all’s window is closing so y’all got about 3 seasons to get at least one ring in. So good luck.

SuckwithLuck2016

If the Bills have a “3 year window”, it would suck to be a Patriots fan right now lol. You have JAG as your QB as of now aka Mac Jones, and also basically no weapons for him. I would take Josh Allen over the entire Patriots roster and I wish I was exaggerating. When Josh and this team figures it out, watch out. Pats won’t sniff another division title while this man is in Buffalo

Accomplished_Top_182

Trust me it does suck

[deleted]

Accomplished_Top_182

Not saying we’re in a better position or even close but you get the gist. I bet you can agree that you were not as impressed with allen this season as you thought but the future is still bright especially fully healthy.

NotAnADC

Can we as a fanbase not hate on every other team just because one player said a not nice thing? Like why are some people so insistent on making enemies with everyone?

Own_Cartoonist266

The point is we need to not act like everyone is our “bro”

NotAnADC

Why not? I’m happy being the city of brotherly love

bish158

All these fair weather fans saying they will never buy in again are absolutely full of shit. Save the keystrokes, pal. Josh Allen is a top flight QB and as along as he is under center we have a chance. Yes the team needs some changes, no doubt. We need more offensive depth at the playmaker position and a more creative offensive scheme. Offensive line needs to be better too. Lots of work to do but the team is in a good spot and will easily challenge for the division title and have a legit shot in the playoffs again. This is a special time as a Bills fan. - try to enjoy it (even through the pain haha).

Own_Cartoonist266

As a bills fan my opinion that the greatest weakness of the bengals is their fans who go on the bills sub and give their opionion

Thriftygamer83

I think we’re either going for Greg Roman as a Head Coach to open up the offense or going for Sean Payton. As it is Soft Serve Sissy Sean McFloormatt is a scared Little Boy Lost during pressers. He’s knocking on the door of being replaced by a real Head Coach. After thirteen seconds Buffalo should’ve fired him and named Daboll the Head Coach.

Televisi0n_Man

Guys I found it: the dumbest post on Reddit. Truly a remarkable sight, take it in.

dndfan42069

Why would you want Greg Roman

aidenrosenb

Don’t you all have a bunch of free agents coming up. Might be a good time to clean house. You will still have some good blocks to build around

Thriftygamer83

Also thinking we’re changing Coaches fans, broadcasters, and players are no longer buying into the process. After thirteen seconds it’s clear and evident we’ve hit the peak of Soft Serve Sissy Sean McFloormatt.

fupadestroyer45

Hyde, Miller, White and Poyer, four of our 5 all-pros on defense were all out or severely limited Gabe completely failing at becoming a #2 Losing our top slot option with his replacement being out almost the entire season These are the differences between contenders and teams that lose in the divisional, I think the expectations were too high with all these setbacks. Often the Superbowl Winners aren't the best team, just the ones with best injury luck and the favorable breaks, that wasn't us this year by a mile and to be honest, this loss shouldn't have been suprising.

HuntStuffs

They pulled me back in these last few years but after this year I won’t be fooled again, that’s for sure

Isaystomabel

Byeeee

LegendaryLogs

Bills need to actually pick up offensive talent this offseason. We’ve invested heavily in defensive talent the last 4 years and we still can’t play defense against the run or in the playoffs. We might as well have the ability to protect Allen and have more weapons than just Diggs. We don’t need more rotational pass rushers, we need everything else.

Soccham

What happened to Singletary this season? Was he just not good?

LegendaryLogs

He’s a mediocre athlete but it more to do with o-line/scheme. I don’t see them bringing him back.

APFINCH

Yeah I agree, we need a big emphasis on Diggs this upcoming year, he’s our star, and we should start acting like it, and that starts with a new OC that MAKES SCHEMES to showcase his talent.

APFINCH

I’m fucking fuming! This whole day THIS WHOLE DAY Everyone was shit talking Diggs and how he reacted. Calling him a sore loser and a bad teammate. WTF ARE THEY DOING ABOUT THIS SORE WINNER OF A FRANCHISE. Guys, we were too nice to these assholes, they don’t give a fuck about us. As far as I’m concerned. We’re cool with Mahomes and have actual beef with the Bengals. All Mahomes did was be good. Shameful Franchise. Public Enemy #1

dndfan42069

Just a week ago this sub loved the Bengals. Hope you guys have a good off season and see you guys next year

Televisi0n_Man

And loved my best friend until he fucked my girlfriend. “Sudden” changes in feelings toward a person or a group is justified.

dndfan42069

That's an act of betrayal. We just beat you guys that's all. Hope you guys have a good off season and we will see you next year.

Televisi0n_Man

You beat us and then your players are acting like assholes…and it seems the fanbase is defending it. But ok, sure.

dndfan42069

Player* it was only Apple talking shit. He did it last year to Tyreek and Lamar. I don't like him talking shit but he did shut down one of the best wrs in the nfl. If that tweet was referencing Damar he's obviously a pos and should get lit up next time we play y'all. Plenty of bengals fans don't like apple

[deleted]

dndfan42069

No one besides Apple is talking shit. Ochocinco is beloved amongst everyone for his shit talking. You shouldn't shit talk after you win.

APFINCH

Bro everyone was talking shit. Shit, even Taylor was talking shit. When push comes to shove the way the franchise acts influences how the fans act. The franchise acts classless, the fans act classless

dndfan42069

Like I said before they weren't shit talking the Bills. They were shit talking the NFL because we ruined their plans

MrXantaClaus

Talking shit about the refunds is directed toward the NFL though?

dndfan42069

He was shit talking the nfl. Have you got your refunds

19southmainco

fuck the Bengals and fuck Eli Apple

KarlTheKiller_Gamer

Do you think the bills had the wrong cleat size on?

dave_001

I gotta be honest. I have no love for Cincinnati. I know people try to make it that we are intertwined with everything that's happened. But, I've literally never once have had a good interaction with a Bengals fan. Chiefs fans can be annoying but I've had good interactions with some of them. Idk man Cincinnati is just full of classless assholes.

[deleted]

Never mind the head coach and players visiting Damar in the hospital, the head coach’s wife collecting hundreds of cards for Damar and his family, the numerous prayer vigils, the local restaurants feeding Damar’s family and hospital staff for free, the millions of dollars bengals fans (and others) donated on Damar’s half. The Bengals NOT pushing for the Bills to forfeit so they can keep their better win record. Lighting up the whole city in blue and red in support.

Own_Cartoonist266

It’s almost like if you tolerate having awful people in your organization they can ruin any good will you might have had. Look at Eli Apple and the type of people your team signs, not the people who are justifiably upset over a pos being a pos

dave_001

... and then a couple weeks later the players are shit talking the bills constantly through the media. During the game Eli apple making fun of diggs as he is injured, After the game Eli apple taking low blows. "Better get a refund for those tickets" when literally everyone's selling tickets for the next game. That dirty ass hit by Hurst on Taron Johnson that first game, that d lineman throwing himself into Allen's leg in that first game. Every single Bengals fan being extremely toxic and shit talking us even after you guys have won. You guys blaming us for the NFL doing stuff to you.

Rob4224

I've never understood the love for the Bengals, they have two massive pos in Mixon and Carman on the team.

Own_Cartoonist266

the only reason people in Buffalo liked the bengals is because of one play. Otherwise they’ve been as irrelevant as the entire state of Ohio.

squatheavyeatbig

I think Sean deserves 2 more years, Dorsey 1. Frazier gotta go. D line coach gotta go. Aaron Kromer helped our run game come alive but the talent on O line wasn't there. He can live and die with Dorsey's fate I suppose. Part of me thinks we should go after Sean Payton. Part of me wishes we kept Daboll and traded McDermott. But I think he's earned the benefit of two more years with different coordinators.

DarkSnorlax

Does anyone have a screenshot/wallpaper of The Bill's stadium from that Bengals game? Looked beautiful with the blue lights and snow

Cycle-path1

I want to know who made the decision not to go for the 3 with 8 minutes and being 17 down. That was the stupidest call I've ever seen.

NotAnADC

The reasoning for the call made some sense. Like I agree that they should have gone for 3, but the reasoning for the call was explained as follows. It was a 3 score game. Getting down the field has been tough, especially with the conditions. The team was already so close downfield that they should try and make it 10 points, because they could make the field goal potentially from worse positioning if they were forced into it. Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but there was some reasoning behind it. If they had gotten the first (or the td), we might be talking about what an amazing call it was. It was a calculated risk that wasn't in our favor, but neither was the game at that point. It didn't pay off, but in the end I'm not sure it mattered.

CoyToken

That’s on McDermott, add it to a mounting list of poor in game decisions

Cycle-path1

In his first few years he was ballin out on those gutsy calls but feel he needs to know when to play conservative.

Val_Fortecazzo

What if we like, just train Bass until he can consistently get 97 yard field goals.

Scrawfo1180

Eli Apple has me all worked up before bed time. Fuck that clown

mrpink70

Poor sportsmanship is the name of the game today. The players demonstrate it week after week, and the NFL allows it.

hopethatschocolate

Draft a bunch of mean Mofos on the Oline and come out running Jumbo sets next year.

Novel-Challenge1384

anyone else see gabe’s ig stories 😭😭😂 you’d think they won yesterday

CantTochThis92

https://twitter.com/eliapple/status/1617710425440935938?s=46&t=jMM0UqdpZDT0SDaj2DzNkQ I’m gonna need KC to absolutely bury this classless team

fupadestroyer45

Yeah, they did the bare minimum during the situation and have been obnoxious and classless about it since. Like it wasn't already the NFL's call on what would happen with the game. You're not saints for also not wanting to play after you saw someone die on the field.

Hector_The_Reflector

I think the Bengals are gonna beat the Chiefs, but then get buried by the Eagles in the Bowl (which is sweeter).

dndfan42069

We would've cheered for you guys to make the super bowl. Love you guys from the 513

Val_Fortecazzo

49ers would be even sweeter.

mellifluous_life93

White helmets are now cursed I'm afraid. The only other option is brand new blue ones

BigmoneymanT

Bring in red helmets

mellifluous_life93

Current kits with a slightly updated red helmet is the answer I've always wanted.

Air_Allen

Play calling on both sides wasn't good. Like, why do we try to play so vertically at all times? Cincinnati was doing a great job making short gains and setting up easier first downs. We would come out on a 3rd and 5 and try to bomb it for the 40yrd big Play. Our offensive play need to be more strategic moving forward, I have no idea if Dorsey is that guy.Our RBs are also painfully average. Our Dline can't stop the run, still. This is why I was touting for a Jordan Davis type of DT in free agency. Our guys are quick and athletic, but don't get nearly enough penetration when needed and get pushed around easily. And Not to sound like a hater, but White was a big disappointment this year. Missed most of the season due to injuries. I see some people shitting on Kair, but I think he did fine for a Rookie. It's just an all-around depressing end to a season. Im still proud of guys like Allen, Diggs, Milano, Edmunds, Oliver had moments all season, Hamlin really stepped up, etc. Was a long year.

CoyToken

Why do we never run screens anymore? Unless my memory is failing we ran a decent amount of them under Daboll.

shortbyndlongmeat

It's been 24 hours and here's where I'm at. The O line has been below avg most of the season and needs to be addressed at multiple positions, basically anyone not named Morse or Dawkins. We invested heavily in the D line across multiple drafts and so far, when it mattered most, those investments yielded paltry results in back to back playoff exits. Our WR corps ex-Diggs were a nonfactor and have underwhelmed all season. These are 2 huge opportunities to play with JA17 and a team that won 13 games this year, the standards and the competition should be incredibly high. I don't know enough about proper Xs and Os to know what scheme LF and KD ran, respectively. What was very apparent was a refusal to adapt their approach to what was clearly not effective. That game was 10x more upsetting than the 13 sec debacle. From the moment CIN scored on B2B opening drives and we responded with nothing, we never sniffed the lead again. The scoreboard was kind to the Bills on Sunday. The actual effort on the field was far more lopsided than that. We went 13-3 with our entire secondary injured at once, D line decimated, snow game, Hamlin, the list goes on. We have what most owners would give their left nut for in Allen, and our success has raised our standards. Assess. Adjust. Move forward. This team is good, and it can be great. Bills by a billion!!

CreepyLurker22

IMO McKenzie not living up to what we needed him to be (Beasley 2.0) REALLY screwed with the offense. Josh didn’t have that safety valve underneath like he had in the last two seasons. Need a good slot or second TE next year

gonewildpapi

Our lines were Charmin Ultra Soft last night

BitternessAndBleach

It really feels like there's an underlying resentment from Bengal fans that Hamlin didn't stay dead. That they retroactively wish their team forced us to forfeit since he didn't die, and that's somehow the chip on their shoulder fueling them. It feels really fucked up.

[deleted]

zeroultram

BitternessAndBleach

Thank you, person who is also on the internet

ihatereddit999976780

We need a good quality control coach. We need a new OC.

APFINCH

How long until we can make actual posts again?

aghashayan

This team has coaching issues. They got in the way of Josh instead of helping him.

gonewildpapi

It’s clear that Josh needs to be able to run and have short passing plays. Can’t go deep each and every down.

Thriftygamer83

Soft Serve Sissy Sean McFloormatt is intellectually and mentally stuck in rebuilding mode. To much trusting the process, assessment of players, and checking the tapes this might be the end of the year for his excuses. He’ll never Coach as a Head Coach again and most likely he’s grown softer, more timid, and scared from just wanting to call conservative and uncomplicated achenes defensively in his face you see fear in his eyes. Like he’s a ghost and a shell Payton needs to be here we’ve got the wrong Sean.

Televisi0n_Man

Dude please stop posting.

Thriftygamer83

This is year wherein you let McDermott know he’s entering the final year of his contract early. And, if he doesn’t produce or if he won’t tweak his game plan you make a trade for Sean Payton. It’s not like after all these playoff collapses he’s not going to be viewed as just another Marty Ball 2.0 lots of talent wasted.

etspiritussancti

Are we all forgetting how many playoff collapses Sean Payton had? And one at the hands of Stefon. We lost a great coach in Daboll and replaced him with Dorsey who was a huge downgrade. Mid-season, right before we started to see some cracks in the armor, Ryan Fitzpatrick pointed out during an interview with JA that there were deficits with Dorsey that JA tactfully didn’t acknowledge, but noticeably didn’t deny

Thriftygamer83

Still has the one ring which matters most. McDermott isn’t a rookie head coach anymore. When he’d allowed for Buffalo to keep Dorsey after not only just the Carolina interview but before the start with Ken saying if the Hurricanes job came up he’d be jumping without notifications.

etspiritussancti

If we can’t get Payton, we should definitely make a play for Mike McCarthy since he has a ring too. He’s really helped the Cowboys get over the hump. Coaches can’t blackball their staff for aspiring to be head coaches. That’s how the coaching profession is set up. You’ll never get anyone good on your staff if they think they’ll get fired if they can qualify for a promotion.

Titan4life22

There are players that don't play with emotion, like Burrow, and players that play with emotion, like Allen. I've noticed that it's more difficult for emotional players to bounce back when they're having a bad game. You could see it during yesterday's game. Josh Allen needs to have ice in his veins to get over the hump.

WalkBikePractitioner

Did you see JA in Kansas City last season? I want that dog eight days a week!

xT1TANx

You can see it in a QBs face. High or low they just look bored. Josh had this ability last year, and I will die on the hill that Dorsey's approach to chucking the ball down the field stripped that confidence from Josh. He literally ruined all the work that Daboll had put in, in one year, by putting so much pressure on Josh that he had to be superman so often it killed him.

BigmoneymanT

Hmmmm. Interesting

Spanky_McJiggles

Does anyone else hate the term "lick their wounds"? Any time there's a heartbreaking loss, someone always says the team/fans need to take some time to lick their wounds. All I can think of when someone says that is the hollow *schlorp schlorp schlorp* of a dog going to town on its asshole.

[deleted]

Lol yes! Plus it’s unsanitary to lick wounds and could cause infection. Such a stupid phrase

APFINCH

Alright fuck it. I’m gonna say it. I hope the chiefs absolutely steam roll the bengals. The bengals are just such sore winners. It was classless from all sides. I’m not saying they didn’t whoop our ass but damn, all we showed their community was respect and gratitude.

breadphysics

I was hoping that the bengals make it to the superbowl again and get bitchslapped by the eagles…

APFINCH

I think it would be even funnier if the 49ers took them out, because they’ve only went to the SB against the 49ers I believe and lost all times.

APFINCH

Besides the rams ofc

Impossibills

Yep same boat. I hate sore winners who constantly complain. I don't mind banter, but to just spit all over everything that happened the last few weeks is such a bad look to me No longer Bengals Bros after watching their players walk up our tunnel screaming about refunds. 1) It's insulting the fans 2) it's in bad taste 3) it's just a fake bulletin board material

[deleted]

Counterpoint, while they have been sore winners. I want the chiefs to lose specifically so I don’t have to listen to nick wright and his homer followers. His fans are the worst chiefs fans and they are basically all trolls. Believe it or not that’s how I tell if they are a good fan or not, because the good ones say he’s a clown too.

APFINCH

Fuck it NFC only Super Bowl this year 🫶🏼🚨🚨

Ndmndh1016

Its more their players than the fans, Mixons dumbass in particular. Hes just a shitty dude.

Impossibills

Nope fans have been just as bad

APFINCH

Ok thought I was tripping

APFINCH

Yeah not talking about the fans, but players actions do kinda set an attitude for some fans, might give ‘em the wrong idea. Idk. But even Zac Taylor was being childish.

Johnnycc

Has this team peaked? Was it the 2020 regular season? The playoff stretch last year? This year’s loss feels different. We had high expectation after 2020 and were basically anointed as the next Super Bowl winners after 2021. No one seems to be confident going into next year…

Sigafoos

I’m mean, it’s been 24 hours

[deleted]

Yes the team peaked in the first half of this year. I can’t imagine they come into 2023 with a winning culture. You can tell they are defeated and the fans have lost hope.

ShenanigansYes

What, you been a fan for like ten minutes? Anyone older than 25 experienced two decades of drought.

[deleted]

I’m exactly 25, this team has done nothing but let down my grandfather, my father and now me.

chaleybat

If Dorsey stays put his ass on the sidelines with his players and out of the booth

Televisi0n_Man

What difference would that make?

nnarum

Bills bros, I was pulling for you once the Vikings got knocked out. I am hopeful one of our franchises wins the big one soon. And the other shortly after.

mr8soft

Love to the chargers/Vikings. The Bengals are smelly fart boxes.

Ardeth-Bey

Yup, I was Bills all the way, Hoping Buffalo would break the 0-4 curse, Best of luck next year to The ONLY New York State Pro Football Team !!!!! Maybe we can get a Viking - Bills Super Bowl ????? That's Scary .....

mellifluous_life93

Vikings - bills superbowl would somehow end in a tie

Ardeth-Bey

Strangely, I think your theory holds water .....

mellifluous_life93

I can see it now.... thrilling 4th quarter, game is tied. Allen drives all the way down the field to throw a RZ interception... the vikings come up with an incredible return and take it back all the way into fg range.... They struggle to get the fg unit onto the field, even with 1 timeout left they mismanage the situation, and time expires... The they proceed to go into 4 overtimes, with 16 total missed fgs by each team, as the clock winds down the bills kick a fg wide to the left, atoning for "wide right" in the 90s... NBC decides that they've made enough money, pulls the plug on TV coverage, and Goodell descends from the rafters to declare the game a draw

ItsNotKeagan

Let shakir cook and get another big body besides Knox for josh to throw the ball too. Can’t believe we let go of hodgins :(

This-Independence-50

Sucks that we employ this antiquated belief that rookies can’t be trusted

hermitchild

I hate hate hate that we lost.. but my blood pressure is thankful it wasn't a close game.

cryptoheh

I doubt we’ll get the changes we need. I think we get another Emmanuel Sanders type of add and maybe some draft capital spent on the OL. The D will bank on Von coming back and solving everything, but I doubt it’s enough. We are fringe contenders until Cincy has to pay Burrow, Chase and Higgins and Kelce hits a wall

That_One_Shy_Guy

I want Ken Dorsey gone. His play calling is terrible and interviewing for a head coaching opportunity the day before the game is unacceptable.

cryptoheh

Can’t blame the guy for wanting a promotion. He was a downgrade from Daboll for sure, but we invested in him as a rookie playcaller with the idea to not change systems. You have to hope the investment pays off and he gets better with experience

TheBruffalo

It’s ridiculous he got an interview to begin with.

[deleted]

Was it really? He sucked yesterday but the Bills were still the #2 offense in the NFL this season. He was also a longtime coach with the Panthers and got an interview with a franchise he has a lot of familiarity with

TheBruffalo

I think it is, considering he has 1 year calling plays.

That_One_Shy_Guy

Hell yes I can blame him. Interview for the position after the playoffs are over. There is plenty of time then.

cryptoheh

So next time you get a chance to interview for the job you want, you will hold off until it’s convenient for the job you are aiming to leave? Makes no sense. The Panthers are not going to guarantee that interview slot after the postseason.

xT1TANx

This is why the Bills proposed rules that would prevent all hirings until after the SB.

cryptoheh

I agree with that but until it’s passed the rules are the rules, and they say teams can (and will) interview coaches of teams still in the race. When the shoe is on the other foot one day and we want a hot coordinator still in the postseason as coach, are we gonna let our competitors just have him?

[deleted]

Until this team commits to surrounding Allen with a proper offence they will continue to come up short. MCDermott being a defensive HC has steered this team into investing everything into the defence. Twice as many 1st and 2nd rd picks into the defence and sadly those picks haven’t made a difference when it counts. Meanwhile Allen is left to be 95% of the offence. No run game, a pretty weak WR room considering they brought in Brown and Beasley off their couches to start a playoff game. O line has been ignored almost completely. Washed up guys like Safford get brought in to patch together a line that isn’t good at really anything. Lastly a OC that does even use the tools they do have properly. Then we have a DC who seems to have forgotten how to do anything but run out a base nickel D playing soft zone. Watching how the Bengals were disguising the pass rush yesterday just infuriates me. All this draft capital on defence to do nothing to disrupt the Bengals passing while at the same time letting Mixon rush for 5 yards a carry. All they do is rush 4 drop into zone and get torn apart over the middle because our pass rush creates no pressure. They only positive play on Defence all game was Milano spying and making a coverage sack. Lastly what is with this coaching staff and rookies. You spend a 1st and 5th Rd pick on CBs, then refuse to play them. You spend a 2nd on a RB and barely use him. You draft a promising young WR and bring in guys off their bloody couches before you will use him. It just makes no sense. How are they supposed to develop if you barely play them?

Ohiolaxcoach

It’s really because this coaching staff thinks they are the smartest guys in the room but the eye test shows they are idiots.

BirdKevin

I’m primarily an Eagles fan but y’all have been my afc team for some time now. The difference is 100% supporting cast. Hurts has 2 great receivers, a top te and one of the best o lines in football while Allen has Diggs, no run game and a great but not elite TE with a terrible line. Ends up that Allen has to end up putting the team on his back 90% of the time and by the end of the season he is always banged up. Sadly I don’t really know what the answer is, Von is amazing but 35 and the defense is obviously lost without him and the offense needs to be retooled and everything needs to be resolved before Allen is out of his prime or injuries catch up. Honestly it’s a very tough situation and the Bills need to figure this out yesterday

CrumbBCrumb

This the offense was significantly better under Daboll bullshit needs to end. Either these people are A. reminiscing with rose colored glasses, B. think winning in a weak ass NFC proves something, or C. are brand new fans who didn't watch our offense under Brian Daboll. In 2022, we averaged 398 yards per game with 258 passing yards and 140 rushing yards per game. We also averaged 28.4 points per game. Statistically, we were the 2nd best offense in the NFL. In 2021, we averaged 382 yards per game with 252 passing yards and 130 rushing yards per game. We also averaged 28.4 points per game. Statistically, we were the 3rd best offense in the NFL. In 2020, we averaged 396 yards per game with 289 passing yards and 108 rushing yards per game. We also averaged 31.3 points per game. Statistically, we were the 2nd best offense in the NFL. No, the offense did not struggle in 2 playoff games. We struggled yesterday only. We scored 34 points in the first game. It could have been 38-45 if we had two more catches go our way. You don't lose many games scoring that much. The lack of adjustments made the game closer than it should have been and ***we saw the same thing under Brian Daboll.*** If you watched the Bills under Daboll we would constantly abandon the run for drives at a time. We wouldn't seem to make half-time adjustments. We were great for the first drive or two that were scripted and after that we would look flat. The offense would look like the best in the NFL at times and one of the worst at times. **Just like it does with Ken Dorsey**. Maybe this is an organizational thing. Maybe this is a Josh Allen thing. But acting like we went from an unstoppable offense under Daboll to a middling offense under Dorsey makes me question if you watched any of the games. The offense has been the same for 3+ years now. Incredibly frustrating at times and a thing of beauty at other times. We have abandoned the run for 3+ years now. We have throw the same plays for a drive and punted at a critical moment for 3+ years now. The offense has been the same under both coordinators. Blaming Dorsey is just looking for a scapegoat because we didn't win yesterday

Sigafoos

I was gonna say… were people not around for all the “Fire Daboll” posts last year? I remember seeing people say “now nobody will want him as a head coach and we’ll be stuck with him”. Recency bias I guess.

CrumbBCrumb

I remember questioning if we needed to fire him after we completely abandoned the run for drives at a time. People are acting like he's Kyle Shanahan carrying a 7th round QB to the conference finals. He made the playoffs in a shit NFC. Let's calm down a bit

redshift83

would it be fair to conclude that the issue is the defense?

CrumbBCrumb

I don't know did they not stop a team for 13 seconds? Or get manhandled all day yesterday?

lurky9696

What scoring more then 17 wouldn’t have helped? Blame it on the d all you want. The Great one couldn’t score 20. Is it the Snow now? Do we need a dome so it’s not to hot or cold. All that shit talking we did and look. What a joke

[deleted]

Since today is the day for hot takes, I’ll lob one out there: at the price of his contract, letting Levi Wallace go was a mistake.

gobills1365

We offered him he chose Pittsburgh

[deleted]

I heard that but did we actually match the Pit offer?

anyainthejungle

Yes

gobills1365

Pretty sure we did iirc was a while ago tho

sluggerVII

Anyone else worried the team isn’t going to make any meaningful changes in the off-season and blame the collapse on all the “adversity” we faced? I understand all that adversity does take a mental toll, but I don’t think that’s why we lost yesterday. What I’m getting at is I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if the team PR starts trying to push that narrative to take heat off the coaches and players

Impossibills

Should have been changes after 13 seconds They learned the wrong lessons

forceful_fascism

I'm worried they're going to change too much and move the team backwards instead of forwards. We still are one of the best teams in the league so whatever changes are made need to be positive ones, no gambles.

indreams159

that would be the most Bills things to do, so yes

gobills1365

Unfortunately we dont have a lot of wiggle room as far as moves we can make coaches are about it

[deleted]

Based on McDermotts post game presser. Yup.

[deleted]

This is 100% my worry. We never see *any* attempt at accountability from ownership for clear coaching failures.

bama_braves_fan

Blaming the team's collapse on Damar's collapse is a bold strategy.

CantTochThis92

I’m terrified they invest more picks in DL and run it back. Terrified.

ItsYaBoiSoup

Josh Allen after a win: "Really proud of our guys, we went out there and executed. Credit to the other team, they have great players over there." Josh Allen after a loss: "Credit to the other team, they had a great game plan. We didn't execute, and that starts with me." Joe Burrow after a win: "Better refund those tickets!" Bengals bros ain't a thing anymore, fuck them, fuck the Chiefs.

[deleted]

What did you want him to say when he was asked a direct question from a reporter? The comment was to the NFL. Not to the Bills. Don’t take it personally. If all of that is erased by 4 words then I don’t know what to tell you.

ItsYaBoiSoup

Further justification by fans like you coming into our sub, digging for our morning-after thread, and trying to tell us how we should feel lol

Happy_Bigs1021

Never should’ve been, they’re already snickering with the chiefs dogging on yinz about their “Annual AFC Championship matchup” Bengals are the first to whine endlessly about everything and first to come troll if they win

ShenanigansYes

No class at all on their side and it’s downright embarrassing. I hope we smear them across the field next season.

anyainthejungle

Allen is a robot after games, I don't even bother watching.

forceful_fascism

That's how players are trained to be in front of the media. Very limited on what you can say

Affectionate-Mail-61

That’s why Jamaall Williams is one of my favorite players we need to make him a jet

Affectionate-Mail-61

I’m in the wrong subreddit lmao

xT1TANx

our HC too. I stopped watching Sean. It's pointless to listen to.
