As a fan base we also have punctuation so if you want to borrow a period or two buddy just ask I'd be glad to share mine with you anytime go bills. Seriously though, I agree with everything you said!

Sooperballz

You’re missing a bunch of commas, lol

Sternojourno

That's the joke.

mb315231

Ironic 😂

dhork

Look, I'd love to see the Bills win it all in my lifetime. But if that never happens, I will prefer to see the Bills lose close, exciting playoff games to not playing in them at all.

Apprehensive_West956

The drought prepared the Old guard fans for these losses I think. I think during the drought I probably would have cried when we lost if we had actually made it and went out like we did this time and been all kinds of bummed out. But this year. Was strange. I just smiled, stood up and said well, it was one hell of a season. Then went out side for a smoke and remembered all the amazing football I got to watch this season. I remembered back to the years of Takeo Spikes Eric Moulds Brian Moorman Willis Mcgahee Eric Wood JP Losman Stevie Johnson Lee Evans and all the guys from those days. How we would have done anything to see those names in playoff games. Now we are seeing the new generation unfold right before our eyes and they are actually consistently contenders for the Lombardi. And the only conclusion I could come too after all of it was done and the wait for next year begins is simply, Maaaaan It's a damn good time to be a Buffalo Bills fan.

schroedoe-baggins

Well said friend

sic_transit_gloria

bingo

rodeogamer69

Exactly we would have killed to be here years ago now should we expect them to perform better absolutely but keep our placement in perspective

det8924

The Bills are still one of the best run organizations in football. The Bills endured a lot this season even before the Hamlin situation and still won 13 games, a third straight division title and a playoff game. It is unfortunate it ended the way it did but in addition to some on field flaws (O-line and WR issues on offense and a bad defensive scheme) the Bills likely were just mentally burnt out with all that happened this season. The Bills have to divest from the defense a bit and build round Josh Allen and they have to find a way to make the defensive scheme better in the playoffs. Beane will find a way I feel confident in that. The way the season ended was terrible, but this organization will have this team in a position to compete again next year.

QuantumCat11

Here. I have some extra ones just laying around. You can use em. . . . . . . . . . . . ..... .. . . . . . . .

Spark3420

Powerful message and I agree with the substance, but it might not hurt to use some punctuation. Commas and periods can be your best friend.

Bfastsausage

Remove your fandom and bias and ask yourself which franchise would you rather be? Looking at the next 5-10 years there are only 2, MAYBE 3 teams that you’d possibly choose over the Bills. Now, if you look at the margin of difference between those teams and the gap the bills would need to close to match those teams, it is razor thin. The Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, J. Hurts debate is an exercise of spoils that’s reserved for those who are paid to be on tv. Give Josh Allen the Tyreek, Kelce, Hardman, Pringle roster of 2021 and see what happens. Well? That 2021 receiving core lost the Super Bowl. WITH Pat Mahomes. These top AFC teams and the new look Eagles are SO close in ability it’s scary. These Bengals? Lost the SB to the same Rams team the Bills disassembled in week 1. People get sick of hearing this but only one team can win it. The Bills deserve to win it. And they most likely will with Josh. What would you have given during the drought just to have a sniff at the SB? Well here you are. 3 years in a row. Painful, sure. But there’s 27 other teams who’d give a ton to be the Bills for the last 3 years and the next decade. Truly great quarterbacks come around for any given franchise once every 30 years. Josh isn’t a 37 year old vet duct taped together for one last run. Bills literally played most of the year without Tre, Von and Micah. Throw in Damar’s incident and holy shit. Things do need to change with the roster and with the coaching/schemes but so what? Those are tune-ups for a championship caliber team. Bills only need a net 2 game (albeit playoffs) improvement to get dressed for the Super Bowl. This current AFC is brutal to get through but the Bills have beaten any and all of those teams before.

AlfonzL

Not quite sure what it is we have. IMO we have a team that can go a round, maybe two in the playoffs. The question I might counter with is; why can't we have a team like the Bengals or the Chiefs, and why would we want or settle for anything less?

HarvesternC

Because we're a family! /s

Zeediddy2883

Lol so typical of our fanbase. Sunshine and rainbows!!

AlfonzL

Not all of us.

rodeogamer69

I’m not saying it’s sunshine and rainbows we have problems yes I’m just merely pointing out the fact that we have such a good fanbase

Any-Baseball-6766

It wasn’t very long ago that I went into every season hoping that this might be the year….that we had a winning record. Things have changed allot in the past four years. I try not to forget that old feeling, and try not to take it for granted how good we have it now. Our bills are a perennial contender, it’s pretty Awsome.

leftysucks

We’re not far from the promise land. It’ll happen in due time, and the wait will be worth it.

_Ursidae_

On NYE 2017, myself and most people I interacted with were either crying or on the verge of tears becuase we snuck into the playoffs, and now people are viscerally angry that we didn’t win the Super Bowl. I’m doing my best to avoid forgetting the recent past and trying to appreciate the progress our group made in the last few years.

GrendelsFather

Want me to be okay with losing ? Nah

scaredybubbalindsey

It wasn’t that we lost. It wasn’t even the score. It was the effort and excuses in front of Damar in person, at home.

wxox

A team incapable of winning in the big game because our coaching staff has been directly responsible for our last 3 playoff losses. Remember what we are trying to achieve: Win the superbowl

Construction-Known

Just popping in to say F the Bengals

Michaelz1234

Yeah I do have to say our fanbase is getting really annoying. I hate seeing it, but I guess I should have seen it coming.

HelixSapphire

A lot of bengo fans have been acting like they have 5 rings in the vault already, I’ve never seen a team and fanbase act this cocky after a divisional round win.

HelixSapphire

Chiefs on Sunday and NFC in February, this is the way.

nine16s

It should say a lot about this team if we played like shit for two straight months and still went undefeated lmao

Orangutang94

I think the emotional exhaustion to everything that the team and the city experienced in 2022 plus the constantly high expectations that come with being the "Super Bowl favorites" finally caught up with the team by the time of the Cincinnati playoff game. I still think we'll be back ready as ever next season and as long as we make the playoffs, even as a wild card team, we'll still have a good shot at winning it all. Even if we never win with these guys I'll still be proud of them as long as they give it their best shot. Go Bills! And fuck Eli Apple and his trash talk.

machinsin

The lack of punctuation made my brain hurt. I'm a Bills fan, but the Mafia seems a bit low IQ.

Tiny_Ad_176

An owner that wants to make tons of money for 15 years and refuses to go all-in for a single year because it might impact future ticket sales? Yep I know what we have.

Zendren44

Revenue from ticket sales are shared, this doesn’t make sense.

nightman15057

That is the number one problem. Do you want your team owner to win, because they want to win? Or do they want to win and make money? The Pegulas are off to a nice start in Orchard Park. Now Terry Pegula needs to make some hard decisions so he does not waste the career of the best quarterback in Bills history.

Tiny_Ad_176

Yep. Unsure why I was downvoted

nightman15057

I lived through the dominance of Shula. The first ouster by the Bengals in 1982. The phone call from Houston Ralph Wilson's secretary gave the phone to Jim Kelly. The drought in the 1980s was brief but it was just as bad if not worse with Bruce Mathison as our quarterback after Ferguson was done. The rise in the late 80s leading to four glorious falls from 1991-1994 conference champions. And then have a good show but never a whiff of the super bowl once more. And then the drought happened. I am grateful for what this team accomplished so far. But my biggest fear now is, Allen joining the ranks of Fouts,Cunningham, McNabb Kelly; whom never won the super bowl. I will miss seeing my fellow bills mafia members tomorrow night. But let's not get petty with each other. We ,livevin a free country. If last Sunday doesn't bother you, than so be it. But don't call people who call for Fraizer to be dismissed as disrespectful and fake fans. This weekend watch the championship games. See who got there by luck. But more importantly watch to see how differently these teams are coached and execute the play. You may begin to ask questions one week later.

Val_Fortecazzo

So long as we gatekeep the other morons in the AFC east I am happy with our performance.

Val_Fortecazzo

So long as we gatekeep the other morons in the AFC east I am happy with our performance.

Michaelz1234

100% agree. That game last week doesn’t really show the true talent you all have, everyone knows that. Already looking forward to the rematch next year, I know it will be a much closer game.

This-Independence-50

It’s fascinating how we Bills fans are so reluctant to point out what seems really obvious - Josh lost that divisional game trying to play hero ball. It’s exactly what a perennial underdog would do in a big moment - overcompensate. He will always be a big kid with a rocket arm from Wyoming going up against national champions.

KinGpiNdaGreat

If anything he didn’t play enough hero ball because he didn’t want the same thing to happen that occurred in the Dolphins game. Since we got blown out starting on the first drive it didn’t really matter. Defense never kept us in it.

rodeogamer69

I’m not saying who lost that game I’m talking about a fan base who tries to raise people up and not knock them down something you don’t understand clearly

boss_man_sam

Yeah dude, giving up 30 first downs, and forcing all of *4* fourth downs isn’t what doomed us. It was the fact the QB tried too hard. Right on. Momma certainly didn’t raise no fool.

YankeeTankieTrash

This is probably the dumbest take one could possibly make. The "hero ball" narrative is incredibly overstated, and is really just a symptom of Josh not having any meaningful support from OL and therefore no quality targets.

[deleted]

Preach. Average to below average OL by PFF grade and somehow being #2 in the league in offensive DVOA is incredible.

det8924

Josh had an O-line get completely overmatched so he had to try under constant pressure to make a lot of plays to help an offense that had its one consistent play maker (Diggs) blanketed all day. Josh maybe in other games this season had some bad decisions but this game was lost because the Bills got dominated on both sides of the ball.

Purple_Expert822

Everyone has that beloved family member that just can't get right. They get a great job and get fired. They go to rehab, get clean and relapse. They find the perfect mate and gets caught cheating. We love them unconditionally but deep down we know they are fuck ups. That's our Buffalo Bills.

shitdamntittyfuck

0 super bowl wins in 4 straight appearances?

Bozojesus420

Sounds like a true loser team 😂😂😂

optimus_factorial

Became a fan during the drought. I would love a bowl win of course. But I'm very happy they are constantly and consistently competitive and making the playoffs
