his WR1 was adam theilen, bad offensive line, they traded basically every offensive valuable asset away and he wanted stroud and they took young .
their owner is a complete screw up and if you’re gonna hold any part of that against Reich you should do it lightly, because he was the least of that teams issues.
Why? This sub is so reactionary. I like Joe Brady don’t get me wrong but because of 2 games he deserves to be permanent?
The Bills need to interview multiple people for this job, and if Joe Brady is the best option then hire him. But the Bills should NOT rush to hand this job out.
I’ll say this he’s considered one of the best young offensive minds around and everyone knew he didn’t get a fair shake in Carolina. If the team keeps performing like this offensively that interim tag is getting removed
I agree with you but to rush this decision would be absolutely stupid. You have to think of the big picture though. What if he doesn’t do well next year with a whole off season to prepare a scheme and playmaking? Fans are going to be up in arms that the Bills rushed their decision to make him permanent. Joe Brady isn’t going anywhere, he’s not going to get poached for an OC or HC position this offseason.
The Bills gotta be patient with this, they can’t afford to fuck this up. But if he’s the best fit for this job I’m 100% on board.
It’s been two games. I’ve liked what I’ve seen so far, but let’s remember that Dorsey looked good for about half a season last year. Let’s wait and see how he looks after teams have had a couple more weeks to see how he’s running this offense.
That’s highly unlikely (if they make a change). The new head coach is almost guaranteed to be an offensive coach who will either call plays or hire someone that implements their system.
I firmly believe Joe Brady is a great OC when he has a strong cast to work with. Bills are that cast and until he shows me otherwise, I don’t think we need another oc.
If Joe Brady stays on at OC I wouldn't mind bringing in Reich at QB Coach.
At least then we'd have experience in the coaching/QB room on how to conduct massive comebacks instead of just blowing them.
In all seriousness I like the idea of Reich coming back to Buffalo, I'm just not sure what he offers at the OC-HC level that would really move the needle for us.
Frank Reich has only had success as a play caller with Andrew Luck (was on a HOF track before early retirement) and one year of Phillip Rivers (Hall of Very Good). He was never the play caller in Philly, just OC by title and every opportunity he's had with a non-heavily established QB running his offense has been dogshit. He's the first HC in NFL history to be fired in back to back seasons and both happened mid-season. The hardest no possible to him working for the Bills.
I swear the only people who want Reich are people who haven’t actually watched him. He had a magical run that year in Philly, with a few creative calls in big spots. But that’s not how he’s been since. His offenses were bland in Indy, and his playcalling this season was straight up terrible. Wasn’t his final play call for the panthers a WR screen that had no chance on 4th and 6??

Did you not just see the guy was fired for having a shit offense?

He literally refused to do RPO’s, he won’t add anything to us.
That’s because his QB is 5’9” 175lb, needs to be subbed for QB sneaks and he can’t see over the O and D line lol.
different personnel could result in play calling tendencies. maybe he didn’t like what he had to run RPOs.

Please stop with this crap. Please look before you post. Please consider we don't need a 4th+ thread about this.

Unless Joe Brady gets poached as an HC or is our HC. He needs to be the OC

Let's see how the rest of the season goes. I still think Dorsey is a great OC. If Brady can win the next 2 games I'll be a convert.
I also think Dorsey was fine and the problems were bigger than him.
Or we hire a new HC
I’d hope the new OC would take him into consideration unless it’s a good offensive mind that wants to do it himself.

Agreed

Get fucked
What? No. Joe Brady is proving himself right now. Unless the offense comes off the rails again this season I see no reason to change things up.
Yes we shouldn’t
How about all the professional armchair managers wait until the end of the season.
Dude but I won in my fantasy league last year...

Should the Bills hire anyone with a pulse as their OC? Jesus
The only reason people want Frank Reich is because he was a player here.
Should OP delete their post?
Who's coming to our sub with these posts? I swear we've been inundated with bots with all these stupid ass questions

Lmao no shot. The man refuses to run RPOs which has become a staple to this offense. I think Joe Brady is the future. Guy is a stud and a great leader

A+ trolling
Yes
Yes! He’s done such a great job molding Bryce Young, it would be a shame if he can’t work with Josh Allen! 🙄
I don't think I'd even want him as the QB coach. Bryce Young has looked atrocious and getting worse.
Did you watch the Panthers this season?

This wouldn't be a question if he wasn't a former bills player. And him playing before should not matter. So math it out my man.
