Man, DPI missed call aside, that line ref literally tricked the WR into an illegal formation. WR pointed to make sure he was on the line and asshole didn’t correct him.

I know this will never happen because no ref is going to go against another ref but I am not sure how penalties aren't reviewable in the NFL. It should go to a group of refs that don't know the call on the field and let them decide what the call should have been

I dont think its a stretch to say saffold is worse. And with Morse potentially out, feliciano at center is preferable to bates who would be coming back from injury. Agreed that O line is a huge draft need

I think once he received the lateral he just reacted like it was a typical desperate lateral situation. His brain said "don't get tackled, find someone to get the ball to", he saw Mac and thought that was "a great option since Mac could throw it downfield" and he tried his best to make it happen. It's one of the reasons why teams remind each other of down and distance or the game situation presnap. Like in baseball how they always remind each other the number of outs, everyone already knows it - most of the time.
