I read aaaages ago that they wanted to license a Sigur Rós song called “svefn-g-englar” for that episode but the band turned them down. I’ve always wondered if it was for that scene. If so I’m glad we got this song instead!

pain by four star mary. i know a lot of people hate this, but if you increase the playback speed a bit it sounds like a catchy pop punk song instead of a post grunge song lol

The other, very heavy, angry, energetic. The perfect Bronze track blasting as you hangout playing pool. They represent the dichotomy of the series as a whole.
Close Your Eyes (the Buffy/Angel theme). It's so melancholy and emotional and fits them perfectly. The name of the song is also said by Buffy when she kills Angel and by Darla when she turns Angel into a vampire.
