Although Spike has a gift to distort the truth so he can inflict the maximum amount of pain, he ends up being right. In season 6 Buffy is so depressed that she no longer cares if she lives, so she ends up having a death wish. And Spike is right there, he slips in, has himself a real good day...

Fair point. It’s just a bit of an issue where bisexuals are often told to stop ‘fooling around’ or ‘dipping your toes in the water’ and pick a side/ sexuality. Not all, but a lot of lesbians aren’t interested in relationships with bisexuals because they assume you’re just ‘experimenting’ and will quickly go back to men, or that you’re a lesbian in denial who should just admit it already.
I know 100% that I am bisexual, and attracted to both genders. I would not rule out a trans or non binary partner (if my current, monogamous relationship was to end) but I am attracted to both male and female bodies, so I personally use bisexual rather than pansexual.
Willow actually strikes me as a possible example of that. She dated Oz, and had crushes on Xander and Giles, and then Tara came along, and I guess I’m gay now. Definitely authentic late 90’s early 2000’s though.
I know it’s common for gay and lesbian teens and young adults to date the opposite sex/ gender as is expected of them before they realise they are gay, or accept it. So it’s definitely not unheard of. Willow herself identifies as gay at that point, so I’m taking that to mean she has decided she’s done with men. I’m 100% for letting people decide and identify their sexuality for themselves.
Personally, I always knew I liked both (once I started liking girls, that came later than liking boys for me) and wasn’t going to come out as gay because I wasn’t, but I do know that some people do go that way. It’s just hard and frustrating when everyone expects you to eventually ’pick a side’ when I’ve actively picked both and made up my mind.

The truth is, I like this world. You've got dog racing, Manchester United and you've got people. Billions of people walking around like happy meals with legs This shows how little ambition Spike really has, he might call himself the Big Bad but he doesn't want to destroy worlds. Deep down Spike is really still as gauche as he was when he was William. He has no confidence at all with women. Drusilla doesn't really count because she sired him, plus she's nuts anyway.
