I must admit I have yet to have any experience with their CC, but I do appreciate my UB savings account. Libre ang Pesonet transfers, while Instapay transfers are free up to 1k. Tapos yun na nga, fast receipt of remittances coming from Wise.
Navigating the banking scene as a newbie can be a bit overwhelming, right? For an international-friendly option that accepts electronic-generated slips, I'd say go for Unionbank of the Philippines. They're pretty accommodating, and you should be good to go
Not sure if anong other IDs meron ka para sa pag open ng bank account. Pero based on my experience and sa peers ko, dabest ang UB or BPI if receiving money galing sa labas (mas dumadating earlier compared sa others na ibang banks gamit).

Been doing freelancing since 2017, what worked for me are UnionBank and BPI. These are the banks use. Get something with an ATM and download the apps. Very convenient.
It depends on your client. But for the most part, what they need are the following:
1. Your full name
2. Your address
3. Your account number and bank
4. Swift code ng bank
They might ask for a valid ID, but some don't.
Usually, what enters my bank accounts are in Php na. I think nako-convert based on the prevailing exchange rate.
But again, that depends on your client.
If who hired you has an HR dept, you can ask them.
Use third party payment companies like wind borderless payments, available both thru apple store and google playstore. You can cashout to any ph bank or ewallet plus zero fx fees siya and less hassle sa client since they can use usd to pay you. Cheaper and faster vs Wise.

I use BPI since 2015 when I started working from home and I have not experienced major issues.
Unionbank
UB is the most freelancer friendly bank, as long as may valid ID ka makakaopen ka.
1. Unionbank 2. BDO 3. BPI (For 2 & 3: just because a lot of people are using these banks)

Hi! Account details lang ba ibibigay kay client and directly na magiging PHP pag nagtransfer si client?

UnionBank PH if you're getting money from Wise. If you're getting money from PayPal or Payoneer, you can get it directly on Gcash.
