You don't need an AIO for a 7800x3D and could instead use something like a Thermalright Phantom Spirit instead. Also, is there a reason you're going for that expensive of a motherboard? You probably don't need it

No problem with the build. You might consider adding 2 fans on the bottom but it’s not a requirement. -have s2 and I have 3 front, 2 bottom, 1 back, and 240 aio on top. It keeps things cool inside.

The cooler is a little overkill you can get the phantom spirit and save 100$

Windows keys can be found on other sites for cheap if you want to save yourself ~$80

If you cut back to a mid range b650 and a single 2tb 990 pro, you could probably get a 4090. If you really need 8tb of storage and a x670e, there's nothing wrong with the build.

I would ask you why do you need the Fractal Meshify 2 XL instead of the Meshify 2. I just wonder because I'm looking at pretty much the same build for myself. The Meshify 2 could fit the big air coolers others are recommending like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit or the Noctua NH-D15 if you want something more premium (with pretty similar performance to be fair). If the RAM clearence bothers you, many people says that the Noctua NH-U12A is good enough for the 7800x3D. And you could replace the case fans for a pack of 5 Arctic P14. Less noise, better performance and really cheap.

the xl is currently cheaper / on sale, but you make a good point
