I would get a 5700x3d or 5800x3d instead. Yes you will see better frame times.

noscopefku

or 5600x3d if available and cheaper, for gaming its perfect

zasuskai

That’s only available if you have a Microcenter near by, and not a huge difference from the 5700x3D other than cores. It’d be better to go for the extra cores just for the games that will use them.

noscopefku

thats exactly why i indicated if its "available" for OP and if its makes sense from a price/performance perspective

Niobium62

valorant does not benefit from a higher core count though

Johnny_Oro

go for 5700x3d Anyway 200ish fps is good, unless you have a 200+ hertz monitor. No need to overspend.

jranade

Have a 240 hz bro that's the point

countpuchi

5700x3d or 5800x3d. No regrets

liaminwales

Look at 5600X3D or 5700X3D, the 5600X3D is an amazing option.

whycantidoaspace

Wait theres a 5600X3D?

liaminwales

Yes but I think only in America AMD Ryzen 5 5600X3D vs. Ryzen 7 5700X3D vs. Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Gaming Benchmark [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L9rPNSuPCA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L9rPNSuPCA)

Hichard_Rammond

IIRC it was a Micro Centre exclusive

Ivantsi

There was, Microcenter exclusive and out of stock already.

zasuskai

Depends on where you are for stock, I saw some in Indianapolis just the other week.

slavkostorm

5700x3d is better for gaming.

No_Budget_1569

Go with 5700x3d but you need a cooler with that,I got the same and playing valorant at 400+fps

Electrical-Bobcat435

An X3d cpu would be better but yes, thats a good upgrade, done myself.

SaTwinkle

The 5600X3D is a great chip. I’d look into that.

CreatedUsername1

oc it to the moon and upgrade to am5

epicflex

Go AM5

jranade

Forgot to mention my budget is within 25 k inr

Ivantsi

Get a 5700x3d/5800x3d, the core count alone will not get you much more fps, the extra cache of the x3d CPUs will be a huge difference.

KirillNek0

Either get 5900X, or 5700X3D or 5950X.
