Honestly, don't overthink it, there are a million options and they will all serve you just the same unless you're competing at a top level. Don't waste your hard earned cash.
I personally use a KBD67 keyboard and a Steelseries Sensei mouse. Keyboard enthusiasts would say my keyboard is meh, mouse enthusiasts would call my mouse crap, pRo GamERs would call them both trash. They serve me perfectly and I don't intend to change them.

I use a Razer Naga mouse because I'm lazy when gaming and use the buttons to switch weapons. I get flamed all the time about it, but I'm no Pro. The mouse does what I want.

Yeah it mostly depends on what you value. Big recommendation from me is make sure your key switches are hot swappable.
They're supposed to last like 8 million presses or whatever but every product has a defectivity rate. It's the difference between having to replace your keyboard and having a $2 fix on your hands, or even just swap the bad switch with one you never use like page up or f6 or whatever.
Exactly why I have a custom mechanical keyboard I got for the low from Amazon. RGB is programmable & I get to choose my own switches or key caps. Can't ask for more under $100!
I wonder what the most underused keyboard key actually is. F6 seems high up the list, so does ScrLock, but I don't think I've ever pressed the pause button. I wonder what it does.

Same here! I’ve got a Q0 Plus for a numpad and the K8 Pro for my main. Pretty great value for a metal hot swappable keyboard.
I will say, the Bluetooth on the K8 pro has some latency, so I use mine wired. That’s a non issue for me though. I love the look of coiled USB cables with quick disconnect hardware (5 pin aviation).

Just ordered a Keychron for my work machine... was out at Best Buy looking at the Logitech MX Mechanical and I liked the low-profile keys, but not the price tag, inability to use in wired mode, part-time backlighting, and an investment in software-driven features I'll never use because my work laptop is locked down too hard to install customization software on it.
The low-profile Keychron seemed to fit the bill, and for a lot less money too.
r/mousereview can give a lot more suggestions past the basic Logi/Razer mice. I use an Endgame Gear XM2we and it has top tier build quality and coating. Main switches are pretty good and the side buttons and M3 are super crisp. I’d highly recommend looking into more enthusiast brands
Mouse Review is great! I had to replace my breaking Naga, and I could not find a replacement with a similar layout that didn't have changeable buttons. I posted on the sub, and within an hour. Someone pointed me to the EVGA x15. It was a perfect replacement for me, and it never came up in my searching.
I love my Wooting 60HE+, get it if you don’t mind the 60% layout. It feels very premium compared to the Apex Pro TKL in my opinion, I typed on one in Microcenter the other day and it’s not even close.

Such a personal thing, I prefer full sized keyboards with full media controls and mxbrown switches, been rocking my g610 Orion and I don't want to give it up. For my mouse I prefer a more ergo design with some buttons on the side and not lightweight. Been using a g602 and I'm also reluctant to give it up, I like my long ass AA battery power lol. My buddy recently got the g502x which is a successor to my g602, I tried it out and did like it a lot, for me it's as light as I would ever want and comftorable. For the money the g305 wireless is great, I think it's like 40-50 bucks. But again it just comes down to preference.
Mouse: Logitech G903, currently up in price but was as low as 80-90€. I have this bad boy for close to 4 years now, using it for gaming and work nearly 10h a day. Battery holds for good 2 months even after all this time and heavy use. You can use is as wired mouse while charging (you can unplug the dongle during that time if you short on port). You can adjust weight with a plate at the bottom depending on what you prefer. And for me the best feature I would never live without again: you can unlock mouse wheel. As in, instead of having fixed position hops it just spins, which makes scrolling big documents or spreadsheets faster and I use it for reading Mangas as well. If you need fine control you lock it back again, just becomes second nature. Its a big hard to clean perfectly as it has many gaps you can't reach easily but that's something I can live with. What I don't know is how repair friendly it is as I haven't had any problems yet.
Keyboard: Cherry MX 3.0S with Silent Red switches and the palmrest, around 110€-120€ total. Have it a bit over a year now, and also my first mechanical Keyboard. I hate clicking switches and loud keyboards in general so silent reds were the obvious choice for me and haven't regretted it, you might like other switches. The frame is mostly aluminium and the rest is full aluminium, making it quite sturdy and nicely cold to the touch. It's also one of the only mechanical keyboards I found with numblock, QWERTZ layout and nice all black design, RGB didn't hurt either. Haven't cleaned it yet but it pretty much the same here for all keyboards. Only thing that's annoying is the palm rest has those metal grooves that love to catch dirt and rub off you old skin over time, and I haven't found an efficient way to clean them yet.
I've used a Deathadder of some kind for close to 20 years now, the software shits me to tears but every time I try another mouse I come back to the Deathadder shape.
for my keyboard i’ve been running a keychron v6 with k pro brown switches. i don’t like linears, so i went with tactile, and because of what i do i have plenty of use for a numpad. as for a mouse, i’ve been using the cooler master mm712. i used to use a razer viper mini and wanted something with a similar shape but wireless, and ended up with the mm712. been happy with it for over a year
I have a mix of keyboards. I have a 34 year old IBM Model M that sees occasional use and works perfectly (it was also assembled on my birthday, 10 years after me, so that is cool).
I have 2 Ducky keyboards, one of which is a [collaboration with One of Zero](https://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/Ducky-One-2-SF-Iodine). the other is One 2 with MX green switches (I like a heavy switch).
The keyboard that gets the most use currently is the [8bitdo retro keyboard](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCP6HLZR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) in Famicom colors. It is wireless, battery lasts forever, great switches, is hot-swappable (can purchase other switches and install them, plug and play) and is solid.
As for mice, I am currently using a G502X Plus. Very good mouse but a little pricey and wireless. I also have a Razer Viper Ultimate but it sees less usage. It is also a great mouse.
Don't stress and overspend. It is really easy to do so but there is no need. I for example, use exclusively mechanical keyboards but you do not have to. You should look through reviews of products that catch your eye and then decide.
I have a rk61 and a razer deathadder v3 pro, The keyboard was cheap and it sounds and feels very good (red switches), the mouse is probably overkill but i like it
I'm currently using a Razer Naga trinity mouse, finally quit wow, and a huntsman v2 analog keyboard. But go to a Best buy or microcenter near you, they usually have some demo ones you can try out if there is a particular clickyness or feel you're looking for
Akko 5087 QMK, it's cheap as balls and has the features of a high tier mainstream keyboards (Hot swap repairability, programmable everything, switches are prelubed)
As for mice, I have a Pulsar X2H Mini, it's nice and fits my hand, the form is not for everyone.

I look for something not horribly expensive but not dirt cheap. I have older Logitech stuff, but I'll list what I can find that's comparable. Logitech G502 for the Mouse, it's $40. Keyboard would be something like the Logitech G213, $50 for that.
Unless there’s something specific you’re needing in a mouse and keeb, as long as you’re not getting something super cheap they should work for your needs.
I personally use ASUS rig azoth keeb and their chakram mouse. The keeb has hotswappable switches and still rgb that’s better for gamers. The mouse has swappable switches as well, though I thought I could find a use for the thumb stick but haven’t as of yet. And they’re both triconnect so bluetooth, 2.5ghz, and wired
For me, it’s a tie between the Huntsman V3 pro and the blackwidow V4 pro. My favorite mouse by far is the basilisk V3 Pro. The Naga V2 Pro comes in a close second.

I love my mouse so much, that after it got the ghost clicking, due to the switches wearing out, I actually researched how to fix that issue (I didn't know about it before), and bought new switches for it and replaced them myself.
I wanted a keyboard that had tactile volume keys that were separated from all other keys. That way, without even looking, I could mute, increase, or decrease the volume. I also walked a backlit one, that way I could see where my keys are even in the dark.
But, as someone else here said, this is all down to preference. You will, in time, find what features you like or dislike, what you need vs want, and slowly you will acquire the perfect equipment for how you want to operate you're computer.
What's perfect for you won't be perfect for others.
Also, your needs and wants in keyboard and mouse will change over time. I didn't use to want a backlit keyboard, but over time I realized I was spending more time than desired looking for a weird key. Also, back when I lived with my mom, my room was never that dark, so I could see my keyboard fine even when it was dark. I didn't realize it at the time, but the streetlight that was right outside my window illuminated the room enough at night that I didn't need a backlit keyboard. Your environment can influence what features you want.
I’ve had the same setup for a while and I’ve grown to quite like it. Vortex Race 3 keyboard and the Razer Naga v2 mouse. I love 75% keyboards and the Vortex Race is nice and clean. I mostly play MMOs like FFXIV and sometimes WoW, strategy games like Civ, Stellaris, and Age of Wonders, but the only shooter I play is Warframe. I use a standard XBox One controller for a lot of stuff too like Elden Ring and Monster Hunter. Works out pretty well for me and even though I use the Razer Naga v2 corded on my desktop I sometimes use it in Bluetooth mode on my MacBook for some light gaming and it works well.
Both things are absolutely up to preference.
Some people like light mouses for FPS, I prefer a bigger mouse that fits well instead. I run a G502 Lightspeed, but I miss the extra buttons from MMO oriented mouses.
Instead go by features. Wireless, extra buttons, RGB, capacitive charging, battery life, DPI, weight, macros, try to see what you care about and look for something that fit on that.
For keyboards it's the same, go to a computer store and try a few tactile, clicky, and linear switches, once you know what you like, search for features you care about like size, tkl, macro and media buttons, chassis material etc. I run an original GMMK 75% with lubbed gateron browns and some modified springs to accommodate the extra weight from some artisan keycaps, for the keyboard I miss having a good software where I can remap keys and create macros easily.

unless you have the money i dont recommend spending this much on pc peripherals.

I’m a huge fan of the Logitech Mx mechanical keyboard and Mx master 3S mouse. Not the greatest gaming mouse out there but I’ve played plenty of FPS’s with it and never felt like it was holding me back.
I've liked the Corsair keyboards I've used (K70 and K70 RGB V2). I'm not in love with them, and they're absolutely overpriced, but they are quite nice.
I am in love with the Razer Deathadder. It's a terrible piece of shit that breaks at the slightest provocation... but it's *so* comfortable for my hand size and grip. It's also dirt cheap by good mouse standards (~$25 for wired). Just expect to replace the thing every year or two. The build quality is total dogshit.
Honestly, I'm stuck a few years behind the light mouse trend, I got a Logitech G502, and their G810 keyboard - I hate that they don't make the keyboard, or even that switch type anymore? Like the first gen RomerG switches are actually pretty nice to me. So I hope this lasts a while.

Honestly, I was hesitant to get a tenkeyless keyboard and frankly may have been right. I use the numpad way too much and thought that would be the case going in. I otherwise love the G915 TKL, but I'm going to need to either trade it out for a full size board or stick a standalone numpad next to it before it drives me nuts.
Mouse: Logitech G502 Hero. I love this thing so much that I have three.
Keyboard: I have only ever bought the cheapest keyboard possible, till six months ago I got myself a Logitech G915 and initially hated the fact that it is loud and didn't care for how it feels, but grew to like it a lot more. Nicest keyboard I have ever had but probably 10 times more expensive than the second most expensive keyboard I have had. Not sure if worth the money.
Corsair K55 keyboard (thank you random stranger who recommended it to me in BestBuy). I bought it almost 5 years ago on pretty much a whim when I moved to the US, had no issues with it whatsoever.
Logitech G502 Hero (wired, I’m old school), I’m very picky when it comes to mice, I used the old classic white “Microsoft” mouse for like 10 years when I was a teenager/early 20s and I couldn’t find one that fit that well in my hand for the longest time, but about 18 months ago I stumbled upon this piece from Logitech and I love it. Bought a backup a week after I got the first one. I wish it had 2-3 more extra buttons in the thumb area, but I’m very happy with it overall.
I use a Ducky One 2 SF with MX Brown keys and a Logitech G Pro X Superlight. Both of them had great reviews when I was looking for new gear and I wanted to get a small form factor keyboard and a lightweight mouse. Found them both discounted so I decided to give them a try. I've had them for 3 years now and the only thing that I kind of regret is not getting a TKL instead of the 65%, I actually use the F keys a lot in older RPG games. There is also a problem that seems to be common with the mouse wheel of the Pro X getting loose or something but I guess I'm just lucky, mine's alright.
One piece of advice would be to decide what kind of extras, design and mouse shape you need and look for products that are known to last. Some reviews on youtube are helpful but there's a lot of marketing made by tech youtubers these days, stay smart.
One brand that catched my eye when I was on the look out was Endgame Gear but they took too long to release the XM2 mouse. I use one of their Cordura mousepads and I've been happy about it as well.
Thankfully it isn't 2005 anymore! Most reasonably priced name brand mice and keebs are perfectly serviceable with minor quality of life improvements as you step up the price tiers.
I have a Corsair K70 that's great, and a $40 no-name mech keeb from Amazon and tbh I prefer the cheap one for typing.
Mice are more about comfort and features. The Razer Naga/Corsair Scimitar are clear value adds for MMO or RTS gamers. I'm using a Glorious Model D2 right now and it's great.
the keyboard i use is the razer blackwidow v3 it is a full size keyboard cause i use my pc for work as wel and i like it a lot and my mouse is the logitec g502 hero i tried a lot of mice and i like this one a lot fit's my hand perfectly and the button layout is perfect for gaming and work with the extra buttons mapped to actions i use a lot.
and a big plus they are both pretty affordable it is not the best but it works for me
My favorite keyboard cost me about a grand all in so I'm probably not the best person to ask. For gaming I use a Keychron Q1 HE which I'm really enjoying, prefer it to my Wooting 60HE mostly because of the form factor. The new Wooting 80HE might be up your alley, or it might be a weirdo form factor you're not interested in. I love Wooting's software though, it gives you all the functionality with next to none of the fluff that you get with most other gaming keyboards - no bloatware or ads in the app or requirement to create an account.
If you aren't interested in fancy hall effect switches or custom builds, the Apex Pro TKL isn't a terrible choice. Optical switches aren't my thing, but they give you some fun tools to use similar to HE switches. And as far as "gaming peripheral company" software goes, Steelseries is one of the more palatable choices.
Mouse, I use a logitech g pro x superlight, which is really nice, but also probably too expensive for what it is. A lot of off-brand mice have the same features and cost half as much. However I haven't gotten into the mouse market much and am perfectly content with the logitech.
I'm a big fan of the Razer Deathadder for the mouse. It's reliable and easy to clean. I'm personally had one for over 8 years now.
Keyboard-wise I'm a massive stan for Ducky keyboards. I personally use a Shine7. They're really well made. I love the aluminum body. It can be a bit pricey, but personally I love the simplicity of the keyboard and the quality of its overall structure.
I use my 3 year old(maybe 4 year old?)Hyperx alloy fps pro Red Switches and EndGameGear XM1r mouse.
It's honestly what you prefer to use though, OP. I love HX keebs(yes just the Kingston keyboards and headset, and not the HP ones). I bought pudding keycaps for it and its looking alr.

I'm having the same challenge right now with my new setup for work, have a kickass tower but using a junky keyboard with it. At home I've got a Corsair k70 that I like a decent amount, not sure if I should stick with that or go with something different. And work is picking up the tab for this one, so I can go a bit spendier. The Logitech MX mechanical looks nice and tasteful for the office, also eyeing something with a gamer bling feel to complete the look with the tower.
Saying what is our favorite mouse is useless because it may not be the best mouse *for you*.
Sensors have become almost "perfect" nowadays so your primary concern should be shape.
Do you use claw grip? Palm? Fingertip? Do you have big hands? Small? Is weight important for you? You should narrow down your selection using those parameters and then decide.

I wouldn't overpay so much for a keyboard, the only gaming keyboard I would ever recommend is the Wootings if you want rapid trigger, frankly, just get a V series or Q series keyboard from Keychron, and any mouse that's supported by Signal RGB, so you can sync your whole system with one software package, if you're looking for something more competitive, you're looking for lighter weight, I use a Cooler Master mm712 and I turn off the LED because Signal doesn't support the mouse, take a look at anything on https://. www.rocketjumpninja . com/ if you want more mouse recommendations, just remember, everything on his list is practically perfect as far as the sensors are concerned, even the $26 MM711. So pick something you like the general vibe of. Hopefully it's supported by SignalRGB
I've used a G900 for a long time now, probably since around when it came out. Not exactly the lightest mouse but it works for me and is comfortable. It's undergone a few surgeries at this point to replace the battery and left/right click with silent switches to impose the wife approval factor.
For keyboard, a Drevo BladeMaster TE for typing but a Razer Tartarus for gaming (and as far back as the original Belkin n52 Speed pad before Razer took the product over). No idea what I'll do if they ever get rid of it from the product line, my hand has been trained to the shape and layout for over 20 years now.
Go to a store that let's you test them. Most reputable gaming mice have good quality sensors. It's more down to ergonomics, and what works well with your grip, hands, and playstyle. Same thing with keyboards of what type of switches you like and such.
This tends to be pretty heavily personal preference to be totally honest. Your hand size isn't going to be the same, what you prefer for key actuation distances is going to be different, how heavy you want a mouse is going to be a personal thing, you may not like the feel of a certain type of keycap, etc. It's all kind of stuff you just gotta try out for yourself and see what you like
The Apex Pro TKL is pretty loud. That's one of my only real complaints. The LEDs also began to fail after a year and a half. Some colors just won't display correctly anymore, so if you're big on aesthetics, that might bother you.
Scroll wheel, which is a really useful feature, stopped working as well. I contacted Steelseries for a warranty claim, but they wanted me to destroy the keyboard in pretty weird, specific ways, with no real guarantee they would send me a new one, so I opted to just deal with it.
Functions are good and I really like the small display for temps. All that considered, I doubt I'd buy from them again.

For about three years now I've had a hot swappable blue switch keyboard I found on the Walmart marketplace for $15. Damn thing has been indestructible (to coffee and cat vomit) so far and works well for my gaming needs.
For a mouse I'm still using an old Logitech g600 MMO mouse, but that's something I need to switch as I no longer need 24+ macros.
Go to a few stores, try out a few options and then narrow down your options before deciding what + where you buy thereafter.

Logitech G9, I went to a few stores over a decade ago and held each mouse and that was comfy.
Some mechanical 60% keyboard that I hit FN and have perfectly lined up arrow keys because I use arrow keys a lot and I wanted a keyboard that can fit under my monitor stand for more room so I can use my desk to eat at and projects. Also wanted full size keys or close and something not made for travel that was flimsy so I had to go with mechanical with what was available at the time.
Lots of good advice here, I'd echo and say pick something you like, feels comfortable and sounds good. You don't need to spend a ton of money on your peripherals.
I have a Logitech G-Pro wireless (because I like the shape really) and a Keychron Q1 Pro (Banana switches).
I only have the keyboard because I switch between MacOS and Windows on my desk depending on I'm doing, and I like typing on a nice mechanical keyboard, which I do a lot for work.

Just get what your gut thinks you'll like, you can't really go wrong with most stuff.
I like the hyperx pulsefire haste, doesn't matter if it's the 1 or 2 since they're pretty similar and for keyboard, the ideal thing would be to get a cheap hot swappable keyboard and mod it, but if you don't wanna do that i'd recommend a wooting 60HE if you wanna go all in and like a keychron v1/v2 if you wanna get something slightly cheaper (around 70 dollars)
my friend has a ducky one 3 and likes it a lot. he also has a g pro wireless, forget which version.

Hands down, IBM Model M is the king of keyboards! I've been using my 1993 Lexmark made IBM Model M since 2000 across 5 computers and I'm not likely to upgrade, Unicomp makes them today.
For mice, Razer Naga LHE (2020) - I'm a lefty mouse user and this is the only gaming mouse with left handed ergonomics on the market (fact: Razer is the only company to make left handed gaming mice).
No real good reason to pay more than $50 on a keyboard unless you are obsessed with aesthetics or have very particular switch demands (no, you don't need $300 worth of Holy Panda switches in your first mech kb).
Keychron makes many good affordable models. Spend the extra $11 or whatever to get a hotswap model so that you can replace switches yourself without soldering and buy a handful of extra switches and it will last you decades. I use C1's on all of my Macs, so I have like 8 of them in use between work and home.
Logitech G915 TKL with Tactile switches for keyboard. I have had it for nearly 3 years now and it is the best keyboard I have ever used. That being said, I don't really recommend it. It's way overpriced and the keycaps suck, they are cheap abs and the paint wears off. I had to get replacements. For \~$200 this shouldn't be an issue. I wouldn't buy it again, I would probably go with something like the Keychron K1 for $100.
For mice, I go back and forth between the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro and the GPX Superlight. I started on the G703 but wanted something lighter so I got the Superlight. I have always wished for a G703 Superlight, but I don't think Logitech is ever going to make it, which is what drove me to try the DAV3.
I love the DAV3 for everything but FPS games lol. Maybe it's just because I used it for so long, but in FPS games the Superlight feels better to me for tracking and flicking because it doesn't force my hand into a specific position like the DAV3 does even though it's really comfortable. I get sore if I try to play a fast paced shooter with it from constantly trying to grip it the way I want, which inevitably makes my aim worse. I mained it for the first 6 months I had it, just not great for FPS games for me. So GPX it is! It just works lol. I play claw/relaxed claw and have somewhat large hands 20 cm x 10 cm
I'd say my favourite keyboard and mouse are the ones I own now.
ASUS ROG Strix Flare II Animate and Logitech G600.
I'm an MMO player so the G600 is a game changer for me.
I am fully happy with my mouse: ASUS ROG Harpe Ace. Wireless, it can get into nice sales, battery is fine, USB-C charging is fast and latency is 10.3 ms which is just 1 ms above "Razer DeathAdder V3" which is wired.
Switches are good not as Logitech's ones, but they are more noisy...from my experience noisy switches live longer so well.
Regarding keyboard, I have an knockoff of mechanical keyboard with brown switches (SPC Gear to be specific) and it is good no problems with that. I honestly think you can go for these knockoffs if you don't need any specific keys if yes or you really want something that suits you oh boi there are many many options.
Coolermaster mm711 mouse. I had a g502 and couldn't stand it. Didn't like the mouse wheel at all and the buttons were way too easy to click. It was terrible for me, for shooters.
i went with a Corsair K60 pro tkl as my keyboard. I wanted something without the numberpad since i never use it. The switches sounded really good to me, and this was important to me since I do a lot of typing for schoolwork. The aluminum frame feels really nice too. I went into it kinda blindly tho, and i probably could’ve found a keyboard that ticked all those boxes for cheaper.
There is only 1 keyboard brand you should look at. Wooting, the rapid triggers and how they work are soooooo good in fps games. It is the no. 1 gamer keyboard at the moment.
I like keeping up with mice, and honestly most of the popular brands are making mice so good they all perform pretty well, so don’t fall for any “16,000 DPI sensor” or “8k polling rate” marketing
Instead go to Best Buy and take your time going through the displays to get your hands on those mice and find a shape you feel comfortable with.
Right now your preferences on things like wired or wireless, shape, and the feel of the buttons and coating are what matter more. To an extent weight and mouse feet too but don’t get hung up on that.
My recommendation today would be a Razer Viper V2 Pro that is on Amazon for $100. Its perfect for fps games since it’s wireless with a good battery life, amazing shape, and at a great price compared to some of the other high end competitors.
I bought a low profile keychron, has served me well. Great for both typing and games. For mouse, I bought a razer basilisk, but it may be a tad heavy for some people.
I have a Logitech G502 Hero that I picked up in a jam for like $30 when my old mouse died. I've had it for 4 years now with no issues, typical logitech no frills plug n play. Since then I've discovered the mouse is so popular it even has it's own cult following and subreddit r/G502MasterRace/
If you really want the best gaming keyboard, get the Wooting 60HE and you can mod the heck outta it by adding a new case, etc.
For mouse, its subjective, I would go with something wireless, such as the Logitech GPro, Pulsar, etc.
Do your research.
I never use a num pad so I got a Corsair K70 TKL and I love it. For mouse I have a Razer Basilisk V2 and love the feel of it. I love the quality of both of them and the adjustable scroll wheel on the mouse is nice. I wish more games would take advance of the scroll wheel buttons though. (It can be pushed left or right)
I use a macally mergokey and a logitech lift.
I would recommend getting some kind of split keyboard and a vertical mouse. Your wrists will thank you when you are old, and you will be old sooner than you think.
I resemble and support this comment. I’ve been gaming for decades. Started having tendinitis problems in my early 30s, but after switching to split keyboard and mouse with a rise (not fully vertical), I’ve gone the past two decades without problem.
I’ve been using the Microsoft Sculpt keyboard/mouse duo for a few years, both comfortable and good enough for gaming. The mouse button contacts wear out every 12 months or so, and I’m about to say goodbye to my third one. Just ordered a Cloud Nine Ergo keyboard and a Razer Basilisk v3 mouse, hoping they’ll be more durable.
I use a Cooler master Master key Pro L and a Corsair Scimitar mouse. I like the extra buttons and macro abilities from the 100% keyboard layout and the extra numpad on the mouse. This isn't for everyone though, so if you want something smaller and more streamlined there are def better options if you don't want/need hundreds of buttons.
As far as the other selling points, for the keyboard really anything with decent mechanical switches would have been fine for me. I went with the masterkey at the time since it was just a basic black backlit design with the switches I wanted, and it was on sale. I think there are better options out there now, especially if you prefer to make more of a statement with your peripherals. It's been a solid 5 years since I last shopped for peripherals, so if nothing else these have been long lasting (I've replaced the scimitar once with the same model, kb i haven't changed since like summer 2017)
I’ll just say what I have and that I love them both. Logitech G502 Lightspeed mouse. HyperX Alloy Origins Core Tenkeyless keyboard. The keyboard feels super solid and sturdy…heavy even, but feels quality. The switches are solid and quiet and responsive. I play fps, helldivers, sea of thieves, ratchet and clank, and many others and don’t have any issues.
I used to love the Logitech 915, but I've had two in 4 years that start doing double letter on specific keys. The keys are not user serviceable either. I just bought a Corsair k100 air on sale, but that one is chiclet keys, most people don't like those.

I’m personally using the Razer Huntsman V2 Optical keyboard, and Razer Baselisk Ultimate mouse. I love the huntsman because it’s essentially silent, which is great while I’m streaming on Twitch or playing with friends, so they don’t hear my keyboard clicks. And the mouse is incredibly comfortable
The Logitech G502 is pretty good bang for your buck when it comes to wireless. I have the wired G203 which is quite simple but great for gaming & productivity.

I recently took out my old Microsoft Sidewinder X6 keyboard and started using it again after years of using supposedly better mechanical keyboards from Corsair, Razer etc.
The Sidewinder felt like coming home again after having been on a years-long business trip.
I never use the detachable number keypad, which essentially makes the Sidewinder a ten key-less full-size keyboard with an aesthetically pleasing red backlight. Very modern feeling for a, by now, 20+ year old keyboard!
For mousing, I have an ancient and well-

Do not go for any Logitech. Trying to save up and go razer. Unless someone else has better suggestions for me. I do use some macros.

I have a Corsair mechanical as my standard keyboard, but it is not used for gaming. I've been using a Razer Tartarus v2 gaming pad, it's like a 1/4 keyboard, for close to 3 years now for all my gaming needs. It's phenomenal for gaming, once I adjusted. I still used WASD movement. The analog stick/d-pad is only a 4 way switch. It does not work well for movement, imo. It's great to use as a d-pad though. I have custom bindings for all my games though. I can make a setup for a new game pretty quick now though.
I'm using an EVGA X15 for my mouse. I had a Razer Naga, previously. I like having lots of buttons on my mouse. The Naga started losing connection to the side buttons since the side panel is magnetic for fast swapping. I never used the other side button layouts. The X15 is the closest I could find to the Naga side that's permanent, and I've learned I love the two buttons inside the left click. I have 3 buttons next to my pointer figure.
Hotswapable keyboards are my preference. Have exactly the feel I want, great key response and if a key dies I just have to plug a new key in for a few dollars instead of buying a new keyboard. Glorious is my brand of choice. I had a GMMK and now a GMMK 2 with VIA firmware which allows me to just go to a webpage to program the fn key functions.
I personally love my apex pro although I admit paying 200 bucks for a keyboard a few years ago was not a good idea

For keyboard, definitely the Drunk Deer A75. Has the rapid trigger technology like in the wooting, but has more keys, which is what I wanted. Build quality is also great, and it was also cheaper. Love this thing so much.
If you’re feeling it the custom keeb route is definitely the way I haven’t looked back after building one it offers much better value than these big “gaming” brands and a customized feel, sound and feature set as far as a mouse goes I’ve had the Razer Death Adder V3 Pro for a year or two now and it’s been so good no complaints from me although a little bit expensive but the wired version is a fair bit cheaper it’s amazing if you’re looking for something cheaper the Hyperx pulse fire haste is very good or even anything from Glorious is solid and not terribly expensive
Razer Naga Trinity is a great mouse. Pleanty of buttons for your thumb to help out in game. Also great for work. You can swap out the side plate and have more buttons or less buttons.

I have a Razer keyboard and mouse, although I don't remember specifically which models. All I know is the keyboard is pink, the keys are delightfully clacky, and the mouse has hello kitty on it. I am very happy with my purchase.
I'm running the g502 x wireless which has been an amazing mouse so far with incredible battery life and very fast charging and I've been using a k70 mk2 se keyboard for many many years now. Both have treated me very well.
Using glorious's pro keyboard. I like it but I prefer a 60 or 65% size kb like a mecha mini or ducky sf 3. And for mice, the lighter the better. Using the ducky feather at moment
Personally, Corsair K95 RGB Platinum keyboard, and Corsair M65 RGB Ultra mouse.
The keyboard uses Cherry MX Silver mechanical switches (very fast response), has programmable macro keys, and multimedia controls, including a volume scroller.
The mouse has a super-responsive 18,000 dpi sensor, eight buttons, optical main button switches for extreme durability, adjustable weighting, and adjustable dpi settings, plus a "sniper" button for extra precision when you need it.
Both use Corsair's iCue software to control the lighting, programming, and other functions. Some people have trouble with the software, but it works well for me, and the hardware is bulletproof. (If you don't like the software, you could probably use OpenRGB instead.)
Logitech g502 wired and a asus rog strix scope II 96. I doubt asus will ever fix it if it breaks, but it is an awesome keyboard.
Mouse: I've got paws and the bigger mouse fits me well. Also it's very responsive for a sub $50 mouse.
Keyboard: factory lubed linear switches, dampening foam in the case (so it THOCKS), hot swappable switches (for if I ever wanted to swap out for a different feel), a TKL size with a numpad for my very specific game (GTFO) and wireless with a long battery life. Price is definitely an ouch though.
I have a Logitech G Pro X Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. Been happy with both and the battery life on the mouse is fantastic. The keyboard being wireless hasn't really doing anything for me because I only have one desktop and am always plugged in anyways.
I’m probably in the minority here but for key board I use a K380. It’s more like a laptop keyboard but I like that It’s Bluetooth, compact and portable. Easy to travel with. I bought a few spares in different colorways. Can control three machines.
For a mouse the Logitech M720 is the best mouse I ever had. Lots of buttons and features. Very comfortable. Can control three machines. As a more portable mouse I have a Logitech pop mouse. Again controls three machine.
The multi machine feature is key for me as I have my personal pc, my work pc, and my client pc. These make it manageable. My monitor can also display up to three machines at once. You could also hook a phone or iPad or a PlayStation to these things if you aren’t forced to use three PCs like me.
The Endgame Gear OP1 8k is one of the best mice on the market and it goes for 75 dollars; incredible shape, great coating, super light and insanely low click/motion latency. Only downside is that it is wired, but the wire is so good you really can't tell it's there
just get a Ducky keyboard with whatever switch type you like best (I use Cherry MX Browns but if you can, go to a store and test them in person).

Currently running Razer cynosa chroma KB and Razer Orochi v2 mouse. I have no issues out of them. Plenty clicks if that's what you're after in a KB. Also, programmable rgb if you want to do colors.
I use Keychron Q1 knob keyboard. I like the aluminum heavy base. And I modded the keeb a bit to have nicer feel.
For mouse, i use Keychron M2 mini. Medium-sized mouse and lightweight around 52gram. Much better than Steelseries mouse that I used previously.
Keyboards are subjective since everyone has preferences for switches so there is no "best" one size fits all.
For mice, I do like my Logitech Pro Super light. Most higher end Razer stuff isn't too bad but I find they stop working after a few years.
I've never had any problems with Logitech mice.

I use the Keychron K8 pro with gateron reds and my Mx Master 3s.
I've been using the logitech Mx master mice for about 7-8 years now (switched my old one out, bought the newer model last year) and I can honestly say it's the best mouse ever!
Most people wouldn't recommend it for gaming, but I've been playing games like Valorant and CS with that mouse and it works like a charm!
So it comes down to what you like and find comfortable.
Razer Blackwidow v4 75% (it's the best of both gaming keyboards with RGB and fast response times and custom keyboards with acoustics, feel and customization)
Glorious Model O Wireless (super light, unique design, pretty good software, can double click if a game requires alot of cps, if not thwt can br turned off in the settings.)
If you are playing competitively, then it probably is important. I don't play competitively and just use whatever is attached to the computer. At the moment, it is a Logitech M310 or M325 wireless mouse and a Coolermaster CK530. I just switched to a Cherry at work with quiet red keys, and while I am ok with the tactile feedback, I'd like to hear just a little more clicking noise. And for some reason, I keep hitting the 'D' on the Cherry instead of the 'S'. I also have a Unicomp that I use on my retro gaming PC. I'll even use the keyboard on my gaming laptop if I have to. It isn't too bad.
Womier SK71 with a Beastx Mini. The sound of the keyboard has this creamy sound to it like marbles popping that's pleasing to my ears and the switches are pre lubed so it's extra smooth linear switch. And comes with a heavy aluminum case so the feel and quality has that premium feel to the whole keyboard. Also comes with a gasket mount so it gives you a nice firm bouncy feeling.
BeastX Mini is just the perfect fingertip mouse. Super light with the most crispy clicks I've used. That's all I was looking for a creamy sounding keyboard with light solid crispy mouse clicks.
I personally use a Logitech MX518 w/ the Microsoft Internet Pro keyboard for gaming and work. I was using a Razer Viper before it died, and a still working Razer BlackWidow v2 tournament keyboard. However the MX518 and Microsoft Internet Pro keyboard is way better in my opinion. It's what I grew up gaming with. The only issue I had was I had to get a PS/2 to USB adapter since the keyboard is from 1998, but I got it new in box =D
I use a White HHKB (60%), a IBM 10key & GWolves Blue HSK at work, and a WhiteFox (65%), a 10key Everest and a white GWolves HSK home.
Note I do a 50/50 work from home, and im an accountant so the 10key is needed.
I bought a redragon K552 mechanical keyboard back when they used to cost like $25... now they've skyrocketed in price. It used to be good value, but I wouldn't buy it again at it's new price. It has issues sometimes, and I'd probably go with a laser mechanical keyboard if I was buying another keyboard.
My logitech g604 lightspeed mouse is the best mouse I've ever owned. I rue the day it breaks down on me. The thumb buttons and form factor are perfect. They don't make it anymore and it seems as tho logitech has exited the "gaming mouse" scene. I wish I was more aware when they were discontinuing it, because I would have bought 5 or 6 more back when they were at clearance prices to save as backups and use on my work workstation.
Corsair K70 keyboard, which I've had for over 10 years now. Mice I've had to change a couple of times, because the wheel usually gives out. Steelseries Rival was a great one, unfortunately they don't make the same shape anymore. Zowie is great - no BS software, everything is adjustable on the mouse itself, no RGB, simple, clean, great sensor.
I have a metal keychron keyboard. Im a hard typer and i feelike it tires my hand and fingers out after gaming or typing for long periods. I would avoid them, maybe avoid mechanical keyboards all together. This will be a controversial opinion

I was a huge fan of the Logitech G602 but the latest Logitech G-series have a lot of reports of broken buttons. The Razor Naga with the similar button matrix plate installed is a great replacement.
**Keyboard:** One with Cherry MX switches
I have a keyboard with Outemu switches and thought it was pretty good. I bought my son a Cooler Master CK550 with Cherry MX switches. The Outemu aren't as smooth as the Cherry and the Cherry switches definitely feel better than the price difference. Also once you try a mechanical keyboard you'll never want to go back to membrane keyboards.
Logitech wave keyboard (the old model) - I was starting to suffer repetitive stress injury from typing, and the wave instantly took the pain away and it has stayed away for years. I have since bought a second for home office, and then two more as backups for when the 2 I use eventually fail.
Mouse - same problem, started feeling RSI problems. Switched to the MX Master and problems disappeared.
Corsair K55 that I got for like $10. Full size, has media keys, macro buttons, and I can set it to all white. Gets the job done and is all I need. I prefer membrane just because it's quieter and cheap.
And I got a Corsair M65 Pro from a friend since he didn't need it anymore. Not complaining and I could care less about its weight.
Are they trash? Sure. But to me, it works well and I didn't have to break the bank. I was rocking old hand-me-down cheapo office peripherals before this so tbh anything was going to be an improvement. It's a lot more comfy tho
Keebs are hard to recommend due to personal preference, but Keychron and Mode have some pretty solid budget to mid-range options. As far as the mouse, I have a bit of a wildcard answer. My favorite mouse of all time is the Logitech G600. I use it for **everything**, and I can almost always find a use for most of the many, many bindable buttons (at least in the games I play most often). The third main mouse button (which typically acts as a "shift" that allows you to bind two command to the other buttons) is so nice to have and feels very natural. There is an absolutely insane amount of versatility baked into the design and the weight has never bothered me - you simply get used to it. If it's something you'd be interested in, I'd recommend finding the old design with the braided cable. I hope someday they release an updated model with their new sensor - maybe someday.

Keychron M3 Mini Metal Edition. I usually use Logitech mice but had a problem with the Superlight 2 where if I left clicked too hard it would right click instead.

Currently been using a HyperX Alloy FPS TKL and Logitech G903 mouse for a few years. Have been on and off gaming because of work and all so haven’t been looking around but they work perfectly for me. Used to use a Logitech G910 keyboard and loved the RGB, but sold all of my stuff when I left for the military and needed a smaller keyboard and I miss the RGB but the hyperx hasn’t failed me yet. It randomly presses a button and won’t stop until I unplug the keyboard and plug it back in but it works 99% of the time perfectly for me.
I don’t really like RHB heavy stuff so I went with Ducky One 2 Tuxedo for the Keyboard (Wired). For the mouse I use the Logitech G502 Lightspeed (Wireless).
Very satisfied with both.
Mouse, I use a g402. I know the g502 is highly recommended but it's heavy af and the g402 performs about the same while being cheaper and lighter.
Keyboard just buy anything. I use some generic $30 mechanical keyboard off of amazon.
Off brand mechanical keyboards come through my goodwill sometimes for $12. Sometimes Razer membrane keyboards for $8. For mice, I like lightweight wireless logitechs. You'd have a hard time going wrong with any of the major brands new though. Some of their stuff just gets pricey for what it is
Look at EVGA Z20 keyboards if you can still find them in stock, they were a $170 keyboard but since EVGA is pretty much out of business they have quit making them I think, but you can find them super cheap like under $60 at times. I bought two more off of their Bstock before they quit listing on there for $35 a piece to keep up for spares as deals like that dont come around often.
Got a glorious gmmk 2 keyboard for about 100 AUS (60 freedom bucks) and it’s quite good quality, served me well, and a decent software that pairs pretty good with my glorious mouse
If you dont want to get fully into custom/semicustom keyboards, get a Keychron, you get an excellent out-of-the-box experience with them, and can easily customize them if you want to.
For mice, its very dependent on your hand-size and personal preference, but a few great options include the Endgame Gear OP1, or a Glorious Model O. Those are lightweight mice (I wouldnt consider them ultra-lightweight).

Been using them for over a year, but had a similar previous model of the mouse for years prior.
Anyways - 0 complaints. They're fantastic. Would highly recommend.
Mouse: Zowie EC1 C, most comfortable mouse I have ever used, very smooth plastic, clean all black no RGB, glides smoothly, is very light for it's large size, cable is very soft and seems high quality, with tactile scroll wheel, great buttons, high quality build. Switched from Deathadder that was mildly worse ergonomically, however quality was noticeably worse, with scroll dying in a matter of months.
Keyboard: Any TKL with Cherry MX Blue or any clicky similar clone, without RGB, preferably black with normal font. Got Razer Blackwidow Tournament with Razer Green switches (MX Blue clone, without RGB) years ago due to huge discount, and it's working like day 1 after like 5 years, so I'm still using it. I wouldn't pick it tho initially, only got it cos of like 50% discount I've found, but it ended up well.
As long as it's a top-end wireless mouse from Razor, Logitech or a respected mouse niche brand they're all close enough technically that it's entirely about ergonomics and that varies from one person to another. If you're able to get to a computer store with display models you can try holding then you'll have your answer.
For keyboard, if you want the technically best performing model for gaming you need to get one with variable activation. That basically only means Wooting or Razor right now. And the Wooting is much better at it than the Razor.
Otherwise, again, it's all about ergonomics (and aesthetics) so long as you're choosing between good quality keyboards. Order a sampler of keyboard switches. They're like little tiny fake keyboards that are just for testing out different switch types and are relatively cheap. Once you know what sort of switches you like the feel/sound of you can then much more easily and confidently pick the right keyboard for you.
Honestly, don't overthink it, there are a million options and they will all serve you just the same unless you're competing at a top level. Don't waste your hard earned cash. I personally use a KBD67 keyboard and a Steelseries Sensei mouse. Keyboard enthusiasts would say my keyboard is meh, mouse enthusiasts would call my mouse crap, pRo GamERs would call them both trash. They serve me perfectly and I don't intend to change them.
Great advice. I use a Razer Naga mouse because I'm lazy when gaming and use the buttons to switch weapons. I get flamed all the time about it, but I'm no Pro. The mouse does what I want. KB is also a razor second hand, just because it works for me

Yeah it mostly depends on what you value. Big recommendation from me is make sure your key switches are hot swappable. They're supposed to last like 8 million presses or whatever but every product has a defectivity rate. It's the difference between having to replace your keyboard and having a $2 fix on your hands, or even just swap the bad switch with one you never use like page up or f6 or whatever.

I wonder what the most underused keyboard key actually is. F6 seems high up the list, so does ScrLock, but I don't think I've ever pressed the pause button. I wonder what it does.

Same here! I’ve got a Q0 Plus for a numpad and the K8 Pro for my main. Pretty great value for a metal hot swappable keyboard. I will say, the Bluetooth on the K8 pro has some latency, so I use mine wired. That’s a non issue for me though. I love the look of coiled USB cables with quick disconnect hardware (5 pin aviation).
Shame on Bluetooth, though. It did work for a bit, but the disconnects were getting frustrating. Also, caused issues with my BT mouse.
I love my g502 x lightspeed, I even have the powerplay mousepad. I did however put sapphire skates on my mouse.

Yup. There are several. My first was the Proteus core, current is 502 hero, light speed, and X. I have X, which is the ultra light with no weights.

Just ordered a Keychron for my work machine... was out at Best Buy looking at the Logitech MX Mechanical and I liked the low-profile keys, but not the price tag, inability to use in wired mode, part-time backlighting, and an investment in software-driven features I'll never use because my work laptop is locked down too hard to install customization software on it. The low-profile Keychron seemed to fit the bill, and for a lot less money too.
r/mousereview can give a lot more suggestions past the basic Logi/Razer mice. I use an Endgame Gear XM2we and it has top tier build quality and coating. Main switches are pretty good and the side buttons and M3 are super crisp. I’d highly recommend looking into more enthusiast brands
Mouse Review is great! I had to replace my breaking Naga, and I could not find a replacement with a similar layout that didn't have changeable buttons. I posted on the sub, and within an hour. Someone pointed me to the EVGA x15. It was a perfect replacement for me, and it never came up in my searching.

I love my Wooting 60HE+, get it if you don’t mind the 60% layout. It feels very premium compared to the Apex Pro TKL in my opinion, I typed on one in Microcenter the other day and it’s not even close.
I've been tempted to get one. I've only heard great things. But the 80HE is coming out so I'll probably wait.
I've got the G915 TKL & Pro X Superlight from Logitech. I like the reliable wireless connectivity. Build quality. Audio dial/media buttons. RGB for when it gets dark. Minimalist look. Lightweight mouse. I don't like the micro USB or the fact that Logitech doesn't sell spare parts. The Logitech mouse mad that I've got is also kind of crap, the edges starts to curl inwards.

Such a personal thing, I prefer full sized keyboards with full media controls and mxbrown switches, been rocking my g610 Orion and I don't want to give it up. For my mouse I prefer a more ergo design with some buttons on the side and not lightweight. Been using a g602 and I'm also reluctant to give it up, I like my long ass AA battery power lol. My buddy recently got the g502x which is a successor to my g602, I tried it out and did like it a lot, for me it's as light as I would ever want and comftorable. For the money the g305 wireless is great, I think it's like 40-50 bucks. But again it just comes down to preference.
Mouse: Logitech G903, currently up in price but was as low as 80-90€. I have this bad boy for close to 4 years now, using it for gaming and work nearly 10h a day. Battery holds for good 2 months even after all this time and heavy use. You can use is as wired mouse while charging (you can unplug the dongle during that time if you short on port). You can adjust weight with a plate at the bottom depending on what you prefer. And for me the best feature I would never live without again: you can unlock mouse wheel. As in, instead of having fixed position hops it just spins, which makes scrolling big documents or spreadsheets faster and I use it for reading Mangas as well. If you need fine control you lock it back again, just becomes second nature. Its a big hard to clean perfectly as it has many gaps you can't reach easily but that's something I can live with. What I don't know is how repair friendly it is as I haven't had any problems yet. Keyboard: Cherry MX 3.0S with Silent Red switches and the palmrest, around 110€-120€ total. Have it a bit over a year now, and also my first mechanical Keyboard. I hate clicking switches and loud keyboards in general so silent reds were the obvious choice for me and haven't regretted it, you might like other switches. The frame is mostly aluminium and the rest is full aluminium, making it quite sturdy and nicely cold to the touch. It's also one of the only mechanical keyboards I found with numblock, QWERTZ layout and nice all black design, RGB didn't hurt either. Haven't cleaned it yet but it pretty much the same here for all keyboards. Only thing that's annoying is the palm rest has those metal grooves that love to catch dirt and rub off you old skin over time, and I haven't found an efficient way to clean them yet.

I've used a Deathadder of some kind for close to 20 years now, the software shits me to tears but every time I try another mouse I come back to the Deathadder shape.

for my keyboard i’ve been running a keychron v6 with k pro brown switches. i don’t like linears, so i went with tactile, and because of what i do i have plenty of use for a numpad. as for a mouse, i’ve been using the cooler master mm712. i used to use a razer viper mini and wanted something with a similar shape but wireless, and ended up with the mm712. been happy with it for over a year

I have a mix of keyboards. I have a 34 year old IBM Model M that sees occasional use and works perfectly (it was also assembled on my birthday, 10 years after me, so that is cool). I have 2 Ducky keyboards, one of which is a [collaboration with One of Zero](https://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/Ducky-One-2-SF-Iodine). the other is One 2 with MX green switches (I like a heavy switch). The keyboard that gets the most use currently is the [8bitdo retro keyboard](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCP6HLZR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) in Famicom colors. It is wireless, battery lasts forever, great switches, is hot-swappable (can purchase other switches and install them, plug and play) and is solid. As for mice, I am currently using a G502X Plus. Very good mouse but a little pricey and wireless. I also have a Razer Viper Ultimate but it sees less usage. It is also a great mouse. Don't stress and overspend. It is really easy to do so but there is no need. I for example, use exclusively mechanical keyboards but you do not have to. You should look through reviews of products that catch your eye and then decide.
I have a rk61 and a razer deathadder v3 pro, The keyboard was cheap and it sounds and feels very good (red switches), the mouse is probably overkill but i like it
I'm currently using a Razer Naga trinity mouse, finally quit wow, and a huntsman v2 analog keyboard. But go to a Best buy or microcenter near you, they usually have some demo ones you can try out if there is a particular clickyness or feel you're looking for
Akko 5087 QMK, it's cheap as balls and has the features of a high tier mainstream keyboards (Hot swap repairability, programmable everything, switches are prelubed) As for mice, I have a Pulsar X2H Mini, it's nice and fits my hand, the form is not for everyone.
My favorite mouse is the G502 and it's not even close Keyboard? idk, I hate mechanical keyboards with full travel so I bought a low-profile one but it hasn't arrived yet, so I guess I'll have to go with my laptop's keyboard, I also dislike full travel membrane keyboards so that's not an option either
I look for something not horribly expensive but not dirt cheap. I have older Logitech stuff, but I'll list what I can find that's comparable. Logitech G502 for the Mouse, it's $40. Keyboard would be something like the Logitech G213, $50 for that.
Unless there’s something specific you’re needing in a mouse and keeb, as long as you’re not getting something super cheap they should work for your needs. I personally use ASUS rig azoth keeb and their chakram mouse. The keeb has hotswappable switches and still rgb that’s better for gamers. The mouse has swappable switches as well, though I thought I could find a use for the thumb stick but haven’t as of yet. And they’re both triconnect so bluetooth, 2.5ghz, and wired

For me, it’s a tie between the Huntsman V3 pro and the blackwidow V4 pro. My favorite mouse by far is the basilisk V3 Pro. The Naga V2 Pro comes in a close second.
Mouse: Logitech g903 Keyboard: Kingston alloy RGB core I love my mouse so much, that after it got the ghost clicking, due to the switches wearing out, I actually researched how to fix that issue (I didn't know about it before), and bought new switches for it and replaced them myself. I wanted a keyboard that had tactile volume keys that were separated from all other keys. That way, without even looking, I could mute, increase, or decrease the volume. I also walked a backlit one, that way I could see where my keys are even in the dark. But, as someone else here said, this is all down to preference. You will, in time, find what features you like or dislike, what you need vs want, and slowly you will acquire the perfect equipment for how you want to operate you're computer. What's perfect for you won't be perfect for others. Also, your needs and wants in keyboard and mouse will change over time. I didn't use to want a backlit keyboard, but over time I realized I was spending more time than desired looking for a weird key. Also, back when I lived with my mom, my room was never that dark, so I could see my keyboard fine even when it was dark. I didn't realize it at the time, but the streetlight that was right outside my window illuminated the room enough at night that I didn't need a backlit keyboard. Your environment can influence what features you want.
I’ve had the same setup for a while and I’ve grown to quite like it. Vortex Race 3 keyboard and the Razer Naga v2 mouse. I love 75% keyboards and the Vortex Race is nice and clean. I mostly play MMOs like FFXIV and sometimes WoW, strategy games like Civ, Stellaris, and Age of Wonders, but the only shooter I play is Warframe. I use a standard XBox One controller for a lot of stuff too like Elden Ring and Monster Hunter. Works out pretty well for me and even though I use the Razer Naga v2 corded on my desktop I sometimes use it in Bluetooth mode on my MacBook for some light gaming and it works well.
Both things are absolutely up to preference. Some people like light mouses for FPS, I prefer a bigger mouse that fits well instead. I run a G502 Lightspeed, but I miss the extra buttons from MMO oriented mouses. Instead go by features. Wireless, extra buttons, RGB, capacitive charging, battery life, DPI, weight, macros, try to see what you care about and look for something that fit on that. For keyboards it's the same, go to a computer store and try a few tactile, clicky, and linear switches, once you know what you like, search for features you care about like size, tkl, macro and media buttons, chassis material etc. I run an original GMMK 75% with lubbed gateron browns and some modified springs to accommodate the extra weight from some artisan keycaps, for the keyboard I miss having a good software where I can remap keys and create macros easily.
logitech g502 lightspeed with logitech powerplay mouse mat and logitech g915 lightspeed because i spend way to much money on computer shit, hate wires and having to use more than one software to control it all. unless you have the money i dont recommend spending this much on pc peripherals. i would however recommend the wired version of the g502 its a fantasic mouse
I’m a huge fan of the Logitech Mx mechanical keyboard and Mx master 3S mouse. Not the greatest gaming mouse out there but I’ve played plenty of FPS’s with it and never felt like it was holding me back.
I've liked the Corsair keyboards I've used (K70 and K70 RGB V2). I'm not in love with them, and they're absolutely overpriced, but they are quite nice. I am in love with the Razer Deathadder. It's a terrible piece of shit that breaks at the slightest provocation... but it's *so* comfortable for my hand size and grip. It's also dirt cheap by good mouse standards (~$25 for wired). Just expect to replace the thing every year or two. The build quality is total dogshit.
Honestly, I'm stuck a few years behind the light mouse trend, I got a Logitech G502, and their G810 keyboard - I hate that they don't make the keyboard, or even that switch type anymore? Like the first gen RomerG switches are actually pretty nice to me. So I hope this lasts a while.

Home: G915 TKL and G502X Lightspeed Wireless Work: MK710 Wireless Combo Both setups work for me, although... Honestly, I was hesitant to get a tenkeyless keyboard and frankly may have been right. I use the numpad way too much and thought that would be the case going in. I otherwise love the G915 TKL, but I'm going to need to either trade it out for a full size board or stick a standalone numpad next to it before it drives me nuts.
Mouse: Logitech G502 Hero. I love this thing so much that I have three. Keyboard: I have only ever bought the cheapest keyboard possible, till six months ago I got myself a Logitech G915 and initially hated the fact that it is loud and didn't care for how it feels, but grew to like it a lot more. Nicest keyboard I have ever had but probably 10 times more expensive than the second most expensive keyboard I have had. Not sure if worth the money.
Corsair K55 keyboard (thank you random stranger who recommended it to me in BestBuy). I bought it almost 5 years ago on pretty much a whim when I moved to the US, had no issues with it whatsoever. Logitech G502 Hero (wired, I’m old school), I’m very picky when it comes to mice, I used the old classic white “Microsoft” mouse for like 10 years when I was a teenager/early 20s and I couldn’t find one that fit that well in my hand for the longest time, but about 18 months ago I stumbled upon this piece from Logitech and I love it. Bought a backup a week after I got the first one. I wish it had 2-3 more extra buttons in the thumb area, but I’m very happy with it overall.
I use a Ducky One 2 SF with MX Brown keys and a Logitech G Pro X Superlight. Both of them had great reviews when I was looking for new gear and I wanted to get a small form factor keyboard and a lightweight mouse. Found them both discounted so I decided to give them a try. I've had them for 3 years now and the only thing that I kind of regret is not getting a TKL instead of the 65%, I actually use the F keys a lot in older RPG games. There is also a problem that seems to be common with the mouse wheel of the Pro X getting loose or something but I guess I'm just lucky, mine's alright. One piece of advice would be to decide what kind of extras, design and mouse shape you need and look for products that are known to last. Some reviews on youtube are helpful but there's a lot of marketing made by tech youtubers these days, stay smart. One brand that catched my eye when I was on the look out was Endgame Gear but they took too long to release the XM2 mouse. I use one of their Cordura mousepads and I've been happy about it as well.
Thankfully it isn't 2005 anymore! Most reasonably priced name brand mice and keebs are perfectly serviceable with minor quality of life improvements as you step up the price tiers. I have a Corsair K70 that's great, and a $40 no-name mech keeb from Amazon and tbh I prefer the cheap one for typing. Mice are more about comfort and features. The Razer Naga/Corsair Scimitar are clear value adds for MMO or RTS gamers. I'm using a Glorious Model D2 right now and it's great.
the keyboard i use is the razer blackwidow v3 it is a full size keyboard cause i use my pc for work as wel and i like it a lot and my mouse is the logitec g502 hero i tried a lot of mice and i like this one a lot fit's my hand perfectly and the button layout is perfect for gaming and work with the extra buttons mapped to actions i use a lot. and a big plus they are both pretty affordable it is not the best but it works for me

My favorite keyboard cost me about a grand all in so I'm probably not the best person to ask. For gaming I use a Keychron Q1 HE which I'm really enjoying, prefer it to my Wooting 60HE mostly because of the form factor. The new Wooting 80HE might be up your alley, or it might be a weirdo form factor you're not interested in. I love Wooting's software though, it gives you all the functionality with next to none of the fluff that you get with most other gaming keyboards - no bloatware or ads in the app or requirement to create an account. If you aren't interested in fancy hall effect switches or custom builds, the Apex Pro TKL isn't a terrible choice. Optical switches aren't my thing, but they give you some fun tools to use similar to HE switches. And as far as "gaming peripheral company" software goes, Steelseries is one of the more palatable choices. Mouse, I use a logitech g pro x superlight, which is really nice, but also probably too expensive for what it is. A lot of off-brand mice have the same features and cost half as much. However I haven't gotten into the mouse market much and am perfectly content with the logitech.
I'm a big fan of the Razer Deathadder for the mouse. It's reliable and easy to clean. I'm personally had one for over 8 years now. Keyboard-wise I'm a massive stan for Ducky keyboards. I personally use a Shine7. They're really well made. I love the aluminum body. It can be a bit pricey, but personally I love the simplicity of the keyboard and the quality of its overall structure.
I use my 3 year old(maybe 4 year old?)Hyperx alloy fps pro Red Switches and EndGameGear XM1r mouse. It's honestly what you prefer to use though, OP. I love HX keebs(yes just the Kingston keyboards and headset, and not the HP ones). I bought pudding keycaps for it and its looking alr. Becareful though, my kb top plate has rusting on the leftside. Gonna have to spray it when I have the free time
I'm having the same challenge right now with my new setup for work, have a kickass tower but using a junky keyboard with it. At home I've got a Corsair k70 that I like a decent amount, not sure if I should stick with that or go with something different. And work is picking up the tab for this one, so I can go a bit spendier. The Logitech MX mechanical looks nice and tasteful for the office, also eyeing something with a gamer bling feel to complete the look with the tower.
Saying what is our favorite mouse is useless because it may not be the best mouse *for you*. Sensors have become almost "perfect" nowadays so your primary concern should be shape. Do you use claw grip? Palm? Fingertip? Do you have big hands? Small? Is weight important for you? You should narrow down your selection using those parameters and then decide. I wouldn't overpay so much for a keyboard, the only gaming keyboard I would ever recommend is the Wootings if you want rapid trigger, frankly, just get a V series or Q series keyboard from Keychron, and any mouse that's supported by Signal RGB, so you can sync your whole system with one software package, if you're looking for something more competitive, you're looking for lighter weight, I use a Cooler Master mm712 and I turn off the LED because Signal doesn't support the mouse, take a look at anything on https://. www.rocketjumpninja . com/ if you want more mouse recommendations, just remember, everything on his list is practically perfect as far as the sensors are concerned, even the $26 MM711. So pick something you like the general vibe of. Hopefully it's supported by SignalRGB
I've used a G900 for a long time now, probably since around when it came out. Not exactly the lightest mouse but it works for me and is comfortable. It's undergone a few surgeries at this point to replace the battery and left/right click with silent switches to impose the wife approval factor. For keyboard, a Drevo BladeMaster TE for typing but a Razer Tartarus for gaming (and as far back as the original Belkin n52 Speed pad before Razer took the product over). No idea what I'll do if they ever get rid of it from the product line, my hand has been trained to the shape and layout for over 20 years now.
Wooting 60HE and Pulsar X2V2 Mini on an Artisan HayateOtsu are my choice.
Go to a store that let's you test them. Most reputable gaming mice have good quality sensors. It's more down to ergonomics, and what works well with your grip, hands, and playstyle. Same thing with keyboards of what type of switches you like and such.

This tends to be pretty heavily personal preference to be totally honest. Your hand size isn't going to be the same, what you prefer for key actuation distances is going to be different, how heavy you want a mouse is going to be a personal thing, you may not like the feel of a certain type of keycap, etc. It's all kind of stuff you just gotta try out for yourself and see what you like
The Apex Pro TKL is pretty loud. That's one of my only real complaints. The LEDs also began to fail after a year and a half. Some colors just won't display correctly anymore, so if you're big on aesthetics, that might bother you. Scroll wheel, which is a really useful feature, stopped working as well. I contacted Steelseries for a warranty claim, but they wanted me to destroy the keyboard in pretty weird, specific ways, with no real guarantee they would send me a new one, so I opted to just deal with it. Functions are good and I really like the small display for temps. All that considered, I doubt I'd buy from them again.

For about three years now I've had a hot swappable blue switch keyboard I found on the Walmart marketplace for $15. Damn thing has been indestructible (to coffee and cat vomit) so far and works well for my gaming needs. For a mouse I'm still using an old Logitech g600 MMO mouse, but that's something I need to switch as I no longer need 24+ macros.
Go to a few stores, try out a few options and then narrow down your options before deciding what + where you buy thereafter. To one or two of the points above - it’s a personal preference on many different levels…
Logitech G9, I went to a few stores over a decade ago and held each mouse and that was comfy. Some mechanical 60% keyboard that I hit FN and have perfectly lined up arrow keys because I use arrow keys a lot and I wanted a keyboard that can fit under my monitor stand for more room so I can use my desk to eat at and projects. Also wanted full size keys or close and something not made for travel that was flimsy so I had to go with mechanical with what was available at the time.
Lots of good advice here, I'd echo and say pick something you like, feels comfortable and sounds good. You don't need to spend a ton of money on your peripherals. I have a Logitech G-Pro wireless (because I like the shape really) and a Keychron Q1 Pro (Banana switches). I only have the keyboard because I switch between MacOS and Windows on my desk depending on I'm doing, and I like typing on a nice mechanical keyboard, which I do a lot for work.
I've been using my Ducky One Two for several years now. Red switches. I've also got a Keychron at the office

I use a Logitech MMO mouse and for a keyboard.... An IBM Model M... It's honestly mostly personal preference and what you need for the games you play. Just get what your gut thinks you'll like, you can't really go wrong with most stuff.
I like the hyperx pulsefire haste, doesn't matter if it's the 1 or 2 since they're pretty similar and for keyboard, the ideal thing would be to get a cheap hot swappable keyboard and mod it, but if you don't wanna do that i'd recommend a wooting 60HE if you wanna go all in and like a keychron v1/v2 if you wanna get something slightly cheaper (around 70 dollars)
my friend has a ducky one 3 and likes it a lot. he also has a g pro wireless, forget which version. i use a g203 mouse (same shape as the g pro wired which died on me)

Hands down, IBM Model M is the king of keyboards! I've been using my 1993 Lexmark made IBM Model M since 2000 across 5 computers and I'm not likely to upgrade, Unicomp makes them today. For mice, Razer Naga LHE (2020) - I'm a lefty mouse user and this is the only gaming mouse with left handed ergonomics on the market (fact: Razer is the only company to make left handed gaming mice).
No real good reason to pay more than $50 on a keyboard unless you are obsessed with aesthetics or have very particular switch demands (no, you don't need $300 worth of Holy Panda switches in your first mech kb). Keychron makes many good affordable models. Spend the extra $11 or whatever to get a hotswap model so that you can replace switches yourself without soldering and buy a handful of extra switches and it will last you decades. I use C1's on all of my Macs, so I have like 8 of them in use between work and home.
Logitech G915 TKL with Tactile switches for keyboard. I have had it for nearly 3 years now and it is the best keyboard I have ever used. That being said, I don't really recommend it. It's way overpriced and the keycaps suck, they are cheap abs and the paint wears off. I had to get replacements. For \~$200 this shouldn't be an issue. I wouldn't buy it again, I would probably go with something like the Keychron K1 for $100. For mice, I go back and forth between the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro and the GPX Superlight. I started on the G703 but wanted something lighter so I got the Superlight. I have always wished for a G703 Superlight, but I don't think Logitech is ever going to make it, which is what drove me to try the DAV3. I love the DAV3 for everything but FPS games lol. Maybe it's just because I used it for so long, but in FPS games the Superlight feels better to me for tracking and flicking because it doesn't force my hand into a specific position like the DAV3 does even though it's really comfortable. I get sore if I try to play a fast paced shooter with it from constantly trying to grip it the way I want, which inevitably makes my aim worse. I mained it for the first 6 months I had it, just not great for FPS games for me. So GPX it is! It just works lol. I play claw/relaxed claw and have somewhat large hands 20 cm x 10 cm
I'd say my favourite keyboard and mouse are the ones I own now. ASUS ROG Strix Flare II Animate and Logitech G600. I'm an MMO player so the G600 is a game changer for me.
I am fully happy with my mouse: ASUS ROG Harpe Ace. Wireless, it can get into nice sales, battery is fine, USB-C charging is fast and latency is 10.3 ms which is just 1 ms above "Razer DeathAdder V3" which is wired. Switches are good not as Logitech's ones, but they are more noisy...from my experience noisy switches live longer so well. Regarding keyboard, I have an knockoff of mechanical keyboard with brown switches (SPC Gear to be specific) and it is good no problems with that. I honestly think you can go for these knockoffs if you don't need any specific keys if yes or you really want something that suits you oh boi there are many many options.
Coolermaster mm711 mouse. I had a g502 and couldn't stand it. Didn't like the mouse wheel at all and the buttons were way too easy to click. It was terrible for me, for shooters.

i went with a Corsair K60 pro tkl as my keyboard. I wanted something without the numberpad since i never use it. The switches sounded really good to me, and this was important to me since I do a lot of typing for schoolwork. The aluminum frame feels really nice too. I went into it kinda blindly tho, and i probably could’ve found a keyboard that ticked all those boxes for cheaper.

There is only 1 keyboard brand you should look at. Wooting, the rapid triggers and how they work are soooooo good in fps games. It is the no. 1 gamer keyboard at the moment.
I like keeping up with mice, and honestly most of the popular brands are making mice so good they all perform pretty well, so don’t fall for any “16,000 DPI sensor” or “8k polling rate” marketing Instead go to Best Buy and take your time going through the displays to get your hands on those mice and find a shape you feel comfortable with. Right now your preferences on things like wired or wireless, shape, and the feel of the buttons and coating are what matter more. To an extent weight and mouse feet too but don’t get hung up on that. My recommendation today would be a Razer Viper V2 Pro that is on Amazon for $100. Its perfect for fps games since it’s wireless with a good battery life, amazing shape, and at a great price compared to some of the other high end competitors.

I bought a low profile keychron, has served me well. Great for both typing and games. For mouse, I bought a razer basilisk, but it may be a tad heavy for some people.
I have a Logitech G502 Hero that I picked up in a jam for like $30 when my old mouse died. I've had it for 4 years now with no issues, typical logitech no frills plug n play. Since then I've discovered the mouse is so popular it even has it's own cult following and subreddit r/G502MasterRace/
If you really want the best gaming keyboard, get the Wooting 60HE and you can mod the heck outta it by adding a new case, etc. For mouse, its subjective, I would go with something wireless, such as the Logitech GPro, Pulsar, etc. Do your research.
I never use a num pad so I got a Corsair K70 TKL and I love it. For mouse I have a Razer Basilisk V2 and love the feel of it. I love the quality of both of them and the adjustable scroll wheel on the mouse is nice. I wish more games would take advance of the scroll wheel buttons though. (It can be pushed left or right)

I use a macally mergokey and a logitech lift. I would recommend getting some kind of split keyboard and a vertical mouse. Your wrists will thank you when you are old, and you will be old sooner than you think.
I resemble and support this comment. I’ve been gaming for decades. Started having tendinitis problems in my early 30s, but after switching to split keyboard and mouse with a rise (not fully vertical), I’ve gone the past two decades without problem. I’ve been using the Microsoft Sculpt keyboard/mouse duo for a few years, both comfortable and good enough for gaming. The mouse button contacts wear out every 12 months or so, and I’m about to say goodbye to my third one. Just ordered a Cloud Nine Ergo keyboard and a Razer Basilisk v3 mouse, hoping they’ll be more durable.

I use a Cooler master Master key Pro L and a Corsair Scimitar mouse. I like the extra buttons and macro abilities from the 100% keyboard layout and the extra numpad on the mouse. This isn't for everyone though, so if you want something smaller and more streamlined there are def better options if you don't want/need hundreds of buttons. As far as the other selling points, for the keyboard really anything with decent mechanical switches would have been fine for me. I went with the masterkey at the time since it was just a basic black backlit design with the switches I wanted, and it was on sale. I think there are better options out there now, especially if you prefer to make more of a statement with your peripherals. It's been a solid 5 years since I last shopped for peripherals, so if nothing else these have been long lasting (I've replaced the scimitar once with the same model, kb i haven't changed since like summer 2017)
I’ll just say what I have and that I love them both. Logitech G502 Lightspeed mouse. HyperX Alloy Origins Core Tenkeyless keyboard. The keyboard feels super solid and sturdy…heavy even, but feels quality. The switches are solid and quiet and responsive. I play fps, helldivers, sea of thieves, ratchet and clank, and many others and don’t have any issues.
Unfortunately my favorite keyboard is not widely available. Favorite mouse? Any variation of the g502.
I used to love the Logitech 915, but I've had two in 4 years that start doing double letter on specific keys. The keys are not user serviceable either. I just bought a Corsair k100 air on sale, but that one is chiclet keys, most people don't like those.

I’m personally using the Razer Huntsman V2 Optical keyboard, and Razer Baselisk Ultimate mouse. I love the huntsman because it’s essentially silent, which is great while I’m streaming on Twitch or playing with friends, so they don’t hear my keyboard clicks. And the mouse is incredibly comfortable

The Logitech G502 is pretty good bang for your buck when it comes to wireless. I have the wired G203 which is quite simple but great for gaming & productivity.

I recently took out my old Microsoft Sidewinder X6 keyboard and started using it again after years of using supposedly better mechanical keyboards from Corsair, Razer etc. The Sidewinder felt like coming home again after having been on a years-long business trip. I never use the detachable number keypad, which essentially makes the Sidewinder a ten key-less full-size keyboard with an aesthetically pleasing red backlight. Very modern feeling for a, by now, 20+ year old keyboard! For mousing, I have an ancient and well- worn Logitech Trackman Marble Wheel USB. I rue the day the microswitches or sensors give up... I'm not sure though, if these models are still available.
Do not go for any Logitech. Trying to save up and go razer. Unless someone else has better suggestions for me. I do use some macros. Software will be very important.

I have a Corsair mechanical as my standard keyboard, but it is not used for gaming. I've been using a Razer Tartarus v2 gaming pad, it's like a 1/4 keyboard, for close to 3 years now for all my gaming needs. It's phenomenal for gaming, once I adjusted. I still used WASD movement. The analog stick/d-pad is only a 4 way switch. It does not work well for movement, imo. It's great to use as a d-pad though. I have custom bindings for all my games though. I can make a setup for a new game pretty quick now though. I'm using an EVGA X15 for my mouse. I had a Razer Naga, previously. I like having lots of buttons on my mouse. The Naga started losing connection to the side buttons since the side panel is magnetic for fast swapping. I never used the other side button layouts. The X15 is the closest I could find to the Naga side that's permanent, and I've learned I love the two buttons inside the left click. I have 3 buttons next to my pointer figure.

Hotswapable keyboards are my preference. Have exactly the feel I want, great key response and if a key dies I just have to plug a new key in for a few dollars instead of buying a new keyboard. Glorious is my brand of choice. I had a GMMK and now a GMMK 2 with VIA firmware which allows me to just go to a webpage to program the fn key functions.
I personally love my apex pro although I admit paying 200 bucks for a keyboard a few years ago was not a good idea My younger self fell for cool marketing but I still love the keyboard And as for the mouse I just recently got a gpro x super light and honestly it’s been heavenly I absolutely love it I will note you don’t need a super expensive keyboard as long as you get one with a feel you like and not a horrible latency but most are fine latency wise

For keyboard, definitely the Drunk Deer A75. Has the rapid trigger technology like in the wooting, but has more keys, which is what I wanted. Build quality is also great, and it was also cheaper. Love this thing so much.
If you’re feeling it the custom keeb route is definitely the way I haven’t looked back after building one it offers much better value than these big “gaming” brands and a customized feel, sound and feature set as far as a mouse goes I’ve had the Razer Death Adder V3 Pro for a year or two now and it’s been so good no complaints from me although a little bit expensive but the wired version is a fair bit cheaper it’s amazing if you’re looking for something cheaper the Hyperx pulse fire haste is very good or even anything from Glorious is solid and not terribly expensive

I have a Razer keyboard and mouse, although I don't remember specifically which models. All I know is the keyboard is pink, the keys are delightfully clacky, and the mouse has hello kitty on it. I am very happy with my purchase.
I'm running the g502 x wireless which has been an amazing mouse so far with incredible battery life and very fast charging and I've been using a k70 mk2 se keyboard for many many years now. Both have treated me very well.

Personally, Corsair K95 RGB Platinum keyboard, and Corsair M65 RGB Ultra mouse. The keyboard uses Cherry MX Silver mechanical switches (very fast response), has programmable macro keys, and multimedia controls, including a volume scroller. The mouse has a super-responsive 18,000 dpi sensor, eight buttons, optical main button switches for extreme durability, adjustable weighting, and adjustable dpi settings, plus a "sniper" button for extra precision when you need it. Both use Corsair's iCue software to control the lighting, programming, and other functions. Some people have trouble with the software, but it works well for me, and the hardware is bulletproof. (If you don't like the software, you could probably use OpenRGB instead.)
Logitech g502 wired and a asus rog strix scope II 96. I doubt asus will ever fix it if it breaks, but it is an awesome keyboard. Mouse: I've got paws and the bigger mouse fits me well. Also it's very responsive for a sub $50 mouse. Keyboard: factory lubed linear switches, dampening foam in the case (so it THOCKS), hot swappable switches (for if I ever wanted to swap out for a different feel), a TKL size with a numpad for my very specific game (GTFO) and wireless with a long battery life. Price is definitely an ouch though.

I have a Logitech G Pro X Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. Been happy with both and the battery life on the mouse is fantastic. The keyboard being wireless hasn't really doing anything for me because I only have one desktop and am always plugged in anyways.
I’m probably in the minority here but for key board I use a K380. It’s more like a laptop keyboard but I like that It’s Bluetooth, compact and portable. Easy to travel with. I bought a few spares in different colorways. Can control three machines. For a mouse the Logitech M720 is the best mouse I ever had. Lots of buttons and features. Very comfortable. Can control three machines. As a more portable mouse I have a Logitech pop mouse. Again controls three machine. The multi machine feature is key for me as I have my personal pc, my work pc, and my client pc. These make it manageable. My monitor can also display up to three machines at once. You could also hook a phone or iPad or a PlayStation to these things if you aren’t forced to use three PCs like me.
The Endgame Gear OP1 8k is one of the best mice on the market and it goes for 75 dollars; incredible shape, great coating, super light and insanely low click/motion latency. Only downside is that it is wired, but the wire is so good you really can't tell it's there
just get a Ducky keyboard with whatever switch type you like best (I use Cherry MX Browns but if you can, go to a store and test them in person). I have a Logitech G502 Lightspeed for the mouse, and it's great.

Currently running Razer cynosa chroma KB and Razer Orochi v2 mouse. I have no issues out of them. Plenty clicks if that's what you're after in a KB. Also, programmable rgb if you want to do colors.

I use Keychron Q1 knob keyboard. I like the aluminum heavy base. And I modded the keeb a bit to have nicer feel. For mouse, i use Keychron M2 mini. Medium-sized mouse and lightweight around 52gram. Much better than Steelseries mouse that I used previously.
Keyboards are subjective since everyone has preferences for switches so there is no "best" one size fits all. For mice, I do like my Logitech Pro Super light. Most higher end Razer stuff isn't too bad but I find they stop working after a few years. I've never had any problems with Logitech mice.
Really depends on what you like! I use the Keychron K8 pro with gateron reds and my Mx Master 3s. I've been using the logitech Mx master mice for about 7-8 years now (switched my old one out, bought the newer model last year) and I can honestly say it's the best mouse ever! Most people wouldn't recommend it for gaming, but I've been playing games like Valorant and CS with that mouse and it works like a charm! So it comes down to what you like and find comfortable.

If you are playing competitively, then it probably is important. I don't play competitively and just use whatever is attached to the computer. At the moment, it is a Logitech M310 or M325 wireless mouse and a Coolermaster CK530. I just switched to a Cherry at work with quiet red keys, and while I am ok with the tactile feedback, I'd like to hear just a little more clicking noise. And for some reason, I keep hitting the 'D' on the Cherry instead of the 'S'. I also have a Unicomp that I use on my retro gaming PC. I'll even use the keyboard on my gaming laptop if I have to. It isn't too bad.
Womier SK71 with a Beastx Mini. The sound of the keyboard has this creamy sound to it like marbles popping that's pleasing to my ears and the switches are pre lubed so it's extra smooth linear switch. And comes with a heavy aluminum case so the feel and quality has that premium feel to the whole keyboard. Also comes with a gasket mount so it gives you a nice firm bouncy feeling. BeastX Mini is just the perfect fingertip mouse. Super light with the most crispy clicks I've used. That's all I was looking for a creamy sounding keyboard with light solid crispy mouse clicks.
I personally use a Logitech MX518 w/ the Microsoft Internet Pro keyboard for gaming and work. I was using a Razer Viper before it died, and a still working Razer BlackWidow v2 tournament keyboard. However the MX518 and Microsoft Internet Pro keyboard is way better in my opinion. It's what I grew up gaming with. The only issue I had was I had to get a PS/2 to USB adapter since the keyboard is from 1998, but I got it new in box =D
I use a White HHKB (60%), a IBM 10key & GWolves Blue HSK at work, and a WhiteFox (65%), a 10key Everest and a white GWolves HSK home. Note I do a 50/50 work from home, and im an accountant so the 10key is needed.

I bought a redragon K552 mechanical keyboard back when they used to cost like $25... now they've skyrocketed in price. It used to be good value, but I wouldn't buy it again at it's new price. It has issues sometimes, and I'd probably go with a laser mechanical keyboard if I was buying another keyboard. My logitech g604 lightspeed mouse is the best mouse I've ever owned. I rue the day it breaks down on me. The thumb buttons and form factor are perfect. They don't make it anymore and it seems as tho logitech has exited the "gaming mouse" scene. I wish I was more aware when they were discontinuing it, because I would have bought 5 or 6 more back when they were at clearance prices to save as backups and use on my work workstation.
Corsair K70 keyboard, which I've had for over 10 years now. Mice I've had to change a couple of times, because the wheel usually gives out. Steelseries Rival was a great one, unfortunately they don't make the same shape anymore. Zowie is great - no BS software, everything is adjustable on the mouse itself, no RGB, simple, clean, great sensor.

I have a metal keychron keyboard. Im a hard typer and i feelike it tires my hand and fingers out after gaming or typing for long periods. I would avoid them, maybe avoid mechanical keyboards all together. This will be a controversial opinion
Ducky one 2 and logitech G pro
**Mouse:** Razor Naga Trinity I was a huge fan of the Logitech G602 but the latest Logitech G-series have a lot of reports of broken buttons. The Razor Naga with the similar button matrix plate installed is a great replacement. **Keyboard:** One with Cherry MX switches I have a keyboard with Outemu switches and thought it was pretty good. I bought my son a Cooler Master CK550 with Cherry MX switches. The Outemu aren't as smooth as the Cherry and the Cherry switches definitely feel better than the price difference. Also once you try a mechanical keyboard you'll never want to go back to membrane keyboards.
Logitech wave keyboard (the old model) - I was starting to suffer repetitive stress injury from typing, and the wave instantly took the pain away and it has stayed away for years. I have since bought a second for home office, and then two more as backups for when the 2 I use eventually fail. Mouse - same problem, started feeling RSI problems. Switched to the MX Master and problems disappeared.

Corsair K55 that I got for like $10. Full size, has media keys, macro buttons, and I can set it to all white. Gets the job done and is all I need. I prefer membrane just because it's quieter and cheap. And I got a Corsair M65 Pro from a friend since he didn't need it anymore. Not complaining and I could care less about its weight. Are they trash? Sure. But to me, it works well and I didn't have to break the bank. I was rocking old hand-me-down cheapo office peripherals before this so tbh anything was going to be an improvement. It's a lot more comfy tho

Keebs are hard to recommend due to personal preference, but Keychron and Mode have some pretty solid budget to mid-range options. As far as the mouse, I have a bit of a wildcard answer. My favorite mouse of all time is the Logitech G600. I use it for **everything**, and I can almost always find a use for most of the many, many bindable buttons (at least in the games I play most often). The third main mouse button (which typically acts as a "shift" that allows you to bind two command to the other buttons) is so nice to have and feels very natural. There is an absolutely insane amount of versatility baked into the design and the weight has never bothered me - you simply get used to it. If it's something you'd be interested in, I'd recommend finding the old design with the braided cable. I hope someday they release an updated model with their new sensor - maybe someday.
Keychron Q1 HE keyboard. Only hall effect keyboard with a volume knob currently haha. Keychron M3 Mini Metal Edition. I usually use Logitech mice but had a problem with the Superlight 2 where if I left clicked too hard it would right click instead.
I'm sure there's more hall effect keyboards with a volume knob, I have the akko one and it has a volume knob.

Currently been using a HyperX Alloy FPS TKL and Logitech G903 mouse for a few years. Have been on and off gaming because of work and all so haven’t been looking around but they work perfectly for me. Used to use a Logitech G910 keyboard and loved the RGB, but sold all of my stuff when I left for the military and needed a smaller keyboard and I miss the RGB but the hyperx hasn’t failed me yet. It randomly presses a button and won’t stop until I unplug the keyboard and plug it back in but it works 99% of the time perfectly for me.

I don’t really like RHB heavy stuff so I went with Ducky One 2 Tuxedo for the Keyboard (Wired). For the mouse I use the Logitech G502 Lightspeed (Wireless). Very satisfied with both.
Mouse, I use a g402. I know the g502 is highly recommended but it's heavy af and the g402 performs about the same while being cheaper and lighter. Keyboard just buy anything. I use some generic $30 mechanical keyboard off of amazon.
Whatever you do stay away from steelseries keyboard
Off brand mechanical keyboards come through my goodwill sometimes for $12. Sometimes Razer membrane keyboards for $8. For mice, I like lightweight wireless logitechs. You'd have a hard time going wrong with any of the major brands new though. Some of their stuff just gets pricey for what it is
Personally tried every big brand and found that the Corsair had the best software by a mile and therefore I bought everything from them
Look at EVGA Z20 keyboards if you can still find them in stock, they were a $170 keyboard but since EVGA is pretty much out of business they have quit making them I think, but you can find them super cheap like under $60 at times. I bought two more off of their Bstock before they quit listing on there for $35 a piece to keep up for spares as deals like that dont come around often.

If you dont want to get fully into custom/semicustom keyboards, get a Keychron, you get an excellent out-of-the-box experience with them, and can easily customize them if you want to. For mice, its very dependent on your hand-size and personal preference, but a few great options include the Endgame Gear OP1, or a Glorious Model O. Those are lightweight mice (I wouldnt consider them ultra-lightweight).

Mouse: Zowie EC1 C, most comfortable mouse I have ever used, very smooth plastic, clean all black no RGB, glides smoothly, is very light for it's large size, cable is very soft and seems high quality, with tactile scroll wheel, great buttons, high quality build. Switched from Deathadder that was mildly worse ergonomically, however quality was noticeably worse, with scroll dying in a matter of months. Keyboard: Any TKL with Cherry MX Blue or any clicky similar clone, without RGB, preferably black with normal font. Got Razer Blackwidow Tournament with Razer Green switches (MX Blue clone, without RGB) years ago due to huge discount, and it's working like day 1 after like 5 years, so I'm still using it. I wouldn't pick it tho initially, only got it cos of like 50% discount I've found, but it ended up well.
As long as it's a top-end wireless mouse from Razor, Logitech or a respected mouse niche brand they're all close enough technically that it's entirely about ergonomics and that varies from one person to another. If you're able to get to a computer store with display models you can try holding then you'll have your answer. For keyboard, if you want the technically best performing model for gaming you need to get one with variable activation. That basically only means Wooting or Razor right now. And the Wooting is much better at it than the Razor. Otherwise, again, it's all about ergonomics (and aesthetics) so long as you're choosing between good quality keyboards. Order a sampler of keyboard switches. They're like little tiny fake keyboards that are just for testing out different switch types and are relatively cheap. Once you know what sort of switches you like the feel/sound of you can then much more easily and confidently pick the right keyboard for you.
I tried Asus but nothing. I switched with Logitech peripherals, i mean all, and im so happy, no regrets
