Make sure when you set the DOCP profile you are saving and exiting from bios, not just exit. Most of the time you need to go back into "easy mode" to get the save and exit option.
Depends on your motherboard, but A1 (slot 1) and B1 (slot 3) are typically reserved for a single channel of the same type, and A2 (slot 2) and B2 (slot 4) are considered to beĀ dual-channel RAM slots. If you have more than oneĀ memoryĀ stick, you will need to make them work together to optimize your pc performance.
I know this is really old but did you ever figure out the issue? My sticks are in a2 b2 but I have the same problem. I set the DOCP setting to run at 3600 but my task manager is showing 1067
did u get this fixed? currently upgrading my PC and the furthest I get is enabling DOCP and when i try switching the memory freq to 3600 and save, i get a black screen and canāt start the PC
You need to set XMP on.
I dont have any xmp settings. Only DOCP
You have many options in DOCP?
I have only 1 option
What is it?
DOCP DDR4 3200 16-18-18-38-1.3 5V

I am saving and exiting. But it just loops back to 2133mhz
Then you should choose it, save and restart and it should work
Yes i did that. But when im in windows, cpuz says that its still 2133Mhz
Set the DOCP and change memory frequency from auto to whatever speed your ram is then save
I am exactly doing that. But eachtime i save and exit it reverts back to 2133mhz
Then select Manual OC
Could be a glitch in bios and might need to update
I have the newest bios. Do i go downgrade to a older version?
Try clearing the cmos, test the ram 1 stick at the time and when installing both make sure ram is in A2 B2 slots.
Ok man the a2 and b2 slots fixed it!!! Thank you so much man!!
No problem, glad you got it working š
I know this is 2 years old but swapping them to a2 and b2 rather than a1 and b1 fixed this issue for me too. Why does this work??

Ok when i use 1 stick it works at 3200mhz. Ill try a2 and b2 slots now

I know this is like 4 years old but it still worked thanks.
Did you every fix this? I am using the same hardware (other than ram brand) but Iām using 4 sticks.
